Order unfulfilled, poor communication

Update: Minutes after I put in the Paypal dispute the merchant called me (I missed the calls) and then emailed to let me know the item I had ordered was out of stock. I was offered an alternative, but I declined and requested a refund, which was processed instantly.
Shame it took putting a dispute to get a response.
My original rating was 1 star but I've amended this to two.

Shame I can't give zero stars!

Seven days ago I ordered an item (which was in stock at the time of ordering but has since vanished from their website) and it has yet to be dispatched, despite the website stating dispatch time is usually 2-4 days.
I cannot get a response from this merchant. Their phone number has an automated message, they don't respond to emails, and the online chat is as good as useless as there is no one there. I also messaged them via the Shop App but no response to any of my attempts to contact them.
Thankfully I paid via PayPal and so I have lodged a claim. What a waste of time.

Will not use this website again and would recommend others avoid too.

I haven't received my order yet and…

I haven't received my order yet and ordered it a week ago. The order specified it would be delivered in 2-4 days. This is the first time I have used Romy Pets and don't think I'll be using them again.

Waiting patiently

It says 2-4 days for dispatch Its now 6 days still no e mail to say they ve been dispatched. I emailed them and they said this wknd they ll get sent out Im still waiting.

Unfulfilled Order

A week after placing the order, even allowing for the New Year Bank Holiday, my order hasn’t been fulfilled. All my attempts to contact the company have been unsuccessful. Their phone number has an automated message telling callers to email them. Their web-chat service said I’d get a response either via web-chat or email. This hasn’t happened. I’ve emailed them, and haven’t heard back. In the meantime, I’m left scrambling to try and find food for my pet from other sources. I’ll have to try and get a refund too! So I’m out of pocket twice over!!!
Very, very disappointed ☹️

Item not received

Like others have said, order never received. I appreciate that Christmas is crazy busy but if customers pay shipping stated by the company itself as 2-4 days then it really should be shipped out in that time frame or even just a few days later but it’s been weeks since my order and no contact. Now it’ll just look weird handing over a Christmas gift for the neighbour’s dog well into January or maybe even later. As I know Christmas is stressful for companies I haven’t messaged until recently (once Christmas got too close it wasn’t worth the chasing) but I do hope to have a reply soon.
I probably will continue to use this site as they have been great for the past few years but next time will be ordering over a month or two in advance.

Romi pets are on the ball as usual, they let me know when my order is ready for dispatch, I’ve been with them for ages now and trust them completely, my order will arrive once the New Year holidays are over, great company for your pets supplies.

Very poor service

Very poor service. Placed an order over 2
Weeks ago, said 2-4 days for dispatch, had no updates and when I email I’m being ignored. Emailed multiple times, again. Ignored. Do not order from here if you actually want to receive an order.

Terrible site

Terrible site. I ordered on the 18th of December as it showed the product was in stock and delivery would be within 2-4 days. My dog needs very specific food as he has a ton of allergies. I needed it before Christmas. Emailed them on the 21st as I had never received a dispatch notice to be told the item was not in stock but was due in the following day. Following day arrived and still no dispatch notice. Emailed them again on the 23rd and they said the product had just arrived in stock and they would send it out by dhl express. Still not been dispatched as of today and I have emailed them a further twice and not received a reply. Avoid at all costs!!

1st order did not come and was told…

1st order did not come and was told unable to get stock! fair enough why take monies and why did I have to chase up for order to then find out cannot do. cancelled all further orders or thought I did to then have order placed again but also gone up £10 in 3 weeks. still not delivered either left messages and email to get back to me again to no avail. Awaiting refund!!

Excellent company, highly recommend

I message the customer service to check where my order was. I had an immediate reply via text with each of my messages. I was told the item would arrive mid week, the following week so realistically I was expecting delivery after Xmas which would be disappointing but its a busy time of year. To receive my order today which is Wednesday was fantastic, it was even delayed 24 hrs by the courier so would have been here even sooner!!

I will always shop with them now, support small independent businesses. You get better service oh and my product was £10 cheaper than anywhere else online!! Well done Romy Pets 10/10!!

Excellent customer service …

I use Romy frequently for my cats biscuits. I’ve always found the delivery to be prompt and no issues.
Knowing I was going to run low over Christmas I made the usual order for the 4kg bag. Today I received two 2kg bags (at no extra cost)- I’m so pleased that common sense has ensured the order has been honoured rather than, like other companies, cancelling which would have left me in a pickle

Very slow!!!

I ordered from them on the 15th December and this is now the evening of 19th and as I can't leave the house and I needed them quickly and this companies delivery time was showing as the quickest at 2 to 4 days and yet the couriers website only showed receiving it today 20th. Contacted them with no reply at all so customer service is non existent so i would use them at your own peril!!! I've had to buy in 2 of the items today as I had ran out so I definitely WON'T be using them again!!! OK if you're not in any rush to receive it and I would begrudgingly pay the p&p!!!
