7 weeks now I have been waiting for a promotion, got the claim accepted 1.12.22 should of received payment last week, just keep being told that they will send my payment ASAP. I buy at least 1 samsung product a year and have always had promotional free gifts, which I have always received within 4 weeks. Seems like Samsung don't want to let go of their cash with this promotion thou.

It's an absolute scam this promotions. Been waiting for 2 payments to be made within 45 days after the claims been approved. Its been 2 months now and still didn't received anything. Rang them 10 times and keep being told that special department will solve this in few days. Well, it's been 10 days after my first call and still nothing happened.
AVOID! SCAM!

Can't keep their lies straght, gave me two conflicting excuses for not delivering within 45days, say whatever they need to to get you off the phone, call back from a manager wihin 2hrs as promised didn't happen, the company isn't Samsung but they bring Samsung in to disrepute and I won't buy any more Samsung products due to this company.

they are scammers. They supposedly offer guaranteed cashback in exchange of old phone when you purchase a new one.
But they never send you pack to send the phone. I tried to chase it up and they told me to wait that there were strikes and delay. Eventually they tell you that the promotion has ended and I cant get the cashback.
Please don't buy if you are expecting to claim cashback.

Absolutely agree with the other customers. Given the run around refusing to honour the promotion, (trying to get processed for 2 months)‘scam’sung is the right word. Terrible customer service. Would not recommend, terribly disappointed.

I wouldn't even give it 1 star. Utterly horrendous service. Bought a watch 5, entitled to 50 pounds cash back. They have made it utterly impossible to actually get it back. Disgusting behaviour. Won't be buying Samsung again.

spent £5k on tv and soundbar with the promotion of 50% back off the soundbar which was £1600.
despite emailing them the receipt several times they want a Vat receipt from the currys store, currys have been hopeless too.

It seems that Samsung are making the process of claiming back the money that is advertised (and we are legally entitled-to) as difficult as possible? Then, no doubt they hope you will miss the expiry date for claiming and they will have made more profit on their products. However, what they and other manufacturers who do this don’t realise is that we ( the consumer) tell our friends & family about the experience and explain that Samsung cannot be trusted to act ethically. It takes the edge off purchasing a £2k TV & soudbar.

Get a free Bezel with the Samsung frame TV, like he'll, you have to jump through hoops to get a claim approved for a voucher that you may receive within 30 days, Samsung deals are crap!

I feel scammed by this promotion. I purchased new.phone on basis of cashback but they turned down my trade in unreasonably in my opinion

Got a prepaid promotions card for buying a set of Samsung appliances. The card did have an expiration date however it also says there's a reissue fee right on the back of it. So I figured I'd use it for Christmas. I went to get it reissued and they said it's expired. I've spoken to two different people on this, one was via phone and he said you have a 60-day grace period but I have missed that. I asked him where that information was and he said it's in the faqs on the site. I went and looked and it's not. The other person I spoke to on a live chat and she said that they sent me an email back in December that said I had 3 months to use the card. The card itself expires in September so when I asked her how the card would say September but she was telling me that it really expired in March and didn't she think that was confusing and made no sense? She hung up on me.

No one, flat no one, will tell me who keeps the money. That question gets ignored

I was lured in to buying a TV with free sound bar but i did not receive the soundbar as it was only available as long as stocks last. There is no indication as to how many are available; it could be 10 or 100! Needless to say Samsung are not saying. I believe a free this or that is just a sprat to catch a mackerel and trading standards should investigate all Samsung Promotions

Bought a Galaxy flip4 phone as an Xmas gift…promo said I could claim an S6 tab. To claim the promo you have to submit a claim that includes an upload of your purchase invoice showing the IEMI code of the phone…easy enough. They then insist that you upload a photo of the IEMI code from the phone as well! So they expect you to unpack the phone that is a gift for somebody else (making the gift look second-hand).

For those awaiting 50% cashback for Q symphony soundbar there is an email for Presidential Escalations. Just got mine after being given the runaround for 2 weeks

So hard to claim free bezel. Takes ages and then they said that because of the small print I could only have one that was weird colours. Terrible con! Never again.

I have had a very similar experience as has been laid out below...recycled an old phone and was due 220 euro back. They won't let me update my bank details...keep telling me to call a phoneline that just has recorded messages so you cannot speak to anyone lol. I've decided that I'm going to make a complaint to the consumer authority and go to the small claims court to get my money!

Purchased two external SSD's on the basis of £30 cashback within 30 days for each. Both claims were approved immediately by email on submission. Waited for email confirming payment which never arrived. Had to threaten legal proceedings (breach of contract, false advertising, fraud) to get the claim processed. Money received but shouldn't have had to resort to such tactics to get what I was owed!

Purchased a tv for £466 from Samsung website directly and queried via live chàt as to why not showing. Reason given due to being purchased via: Samsungexclusivediscounts, a subsection of their website. Pointed out that is was the same company and shows up under my orders and just palmed off, Sports Directesque in their level of disception and dishonesty and unwillingness to look into issue, just kept pointing out their terms and conditions regardless of how misleading the concept of Samsung rewards are. Very bad, very very bad.

I was offered a 50% cash back if I purchased a soundbar with my TV. I would not have bought it without this. They make the system of claiming the money back almost impossible, I have provided all the necessary information on several occasions and am still being asked for the same information - very misleading and I will be reporting to Trading Standards if the cash back is not received!
