Samsung cashback offer

We ordered Samsung TV from John Lewis online which advertised £100 cash back. I can only say that the process to claim this cashback was almost impossible. We were originally told we couldn't apply until a month after purchase and then there was a two week window to complete the claim. Every step of the process was tortuous. We were sent links which didn't work, links to claims for phones and not TVs. Promises to phone back didn't happen and we were asked to provide documentation we didn't have ( for example, a till receipt when we had purchased the TV online) .The online form only allowed us to attach one photo per item although some information was on two pages. The whole process was dreadful and it felt as if Samsung were doing their best to put us off claiming. We had to get John Lewis to help with the claim, although they were not the best either, saying it was our responsibility to deal with Samsung and not theirs. We are happy with the TV but will never buy another product from Samsung as the customer care is so poor.

Samsung Frame TV free bezel offer...…Claiming is made impossible

bought a Frame TV from Samsung- there is an offer where you can claim a free frame bezel from Samsung via their claim website. I added the details required to create the claim but had to wait for TV to be delivered to get the serial number to add to the claim. When I re visited the website to add this bit of information the page would simply take me back in circles and would not accept the additional information I was trying to add. Now a TWO day wait for anyone to get back to me to sort this out - offer ends in 2 days - what a shambles Samsung are and I am regretting the purchase as a result.
Since writing this review the company have responded and say my application has been approved and the bezel will be with me in 45 days.

Ordered direct from Samsung since there was a cashback offer. Was quickly approved, but the cashback hasn't been paid 4 months later. No updates.

Refusing to honour Cashback for…

Refusing to honour Cashback for television and soundbar. Have submitted scans of the receipt multiple times. Had the store reprint a receipt. Store where o purchased the items said that as soon as I provided the unique serial numbers for my items that Samsung would know on their system what was purchased, when and where. So insisting on the receipt is actually a stalking tactic to frustrate customers and have them abandon the claim. I will be taking this matter now to the CCPC as they are withholding over €500 in cashback. Appalling customer service at every turn. Will not purchase Samasung items again as a result and will discourage others from doing so too by making sure my family, friends and neighbours know about their sharp practice.

Samsung is just disappointing

Samsung is just disappointing
I took out a contract on a very expensive device.
In hopes of getting their promotional free galaxy fit 3 and galaxy buds core as advertised.

Long story short I claimed the free gifts and my claim was deemed successful...but delivery is taking forever..it's been weeks now and delivery would take 7-14 days as per Samsung's claims...I honestly don't think it will ever reach my doorstep .I really regret buying this device because I had multiple choices with better specs and features plus a charger and a case in box(referring to Xiaomi devices)
I feel like this is false advertising and very misleading

I regret this purchase

This is my third review on the same…

This is my third review on the same subject. Samsung still haven't sorted out my issue after weeks and weeks of emails and reviews. I received a virtual credit card for £100 from them as part of the Argos September cashback promotion. This card doesn't work. Samsung say they have taken the security checks off it that are preventing me from using but they haven't. I'm still getting the same question that are impossible to answer. I get a list of places I'm supposed to have made my last purchase fromto tick. It's always a list of places I've never heard of let alone shopped at. Samsung keep saying they'll get back to me but just send the same email saying they are looking into it. A very stressful situation to deal with

If there is zero star, I would have given it.

Total scammers, asking for barcode and product sticker, knowing if you purchase online, you dont have such thing on your receipt.

Got £1200 cashback from Siemens when buying their kitchen appliances, with zero issue; got JohnLewis gift card promotion within minutes after claiming. Those are reputable companies.

SAMSUNG is total scammers, stay away from it!!!!!!!!

Mathew Edwards....exactly the same…

Mathew Edwards....exactly the same experience as me!
I haven't even opened the phone yet because I'm generally wary of "promotions " where they don't just send it to you with your purchase.
This is a scam on all levels, they have no intention to supply the watch, it's a ploy to sell. Not only illegal but morally wrong.
Shame on you Samsung, here's another family of customers going to Apple now. They might be morally inept too but there's no way I'm staying with Samsung. I will even research new makes in case they have an affiliation with Samsung, even if they're neighbours; they're not getting my money!
Mathew how did you get on? I too will be going to trading standards.

Attempting to claim cashback

Took a while to locate the claims website and file a claim. When reward email arrived, forced to download Samsung wallet and then the claim page didn't work on the phone and on PC the virus software says the claims site is unsafe and strongly advises against using it. Why does Samsung operate this sort operation, putting their company reputation at risk?

Be prepared to jump through many hoops

£60 cashback offer on buds3 pro. The offer was a good offer and did influence my purchase. I bought online from Argos. We live in an online society these days all my day to day tech is inside my phone. I have no laptop or computer. Argos send you an email receipt. This was not good enough for Samsung so first hoop track down a VAT receipt. Went to Argos they printed the email they sent me saying that will fix it. No it didn't. After several hoops hidden away in some dark corners of the Argos website you can find a VAT receipt. So this was sent to Samsung. All good. Then after some time and several follow up emails the pre paid virtual card arrived in my email. Could only be added to Samsung wallet though ( I use Google pay daily so easy) so more hoops download Samsung wallet several verified emails and several talks with a bot ( Samsung don't appear to be big on humans for customer service) I did eventually get the card into the wallet! I now need to spend the money no idea if that will be more hoops why they couldn't not simply knock £60 off the price? Or do a bank transfer is beyond me. Way to over complicated and certainly would not use an offer like this to buy Samsung again. Keep it simple guys

WARNING to All Customers: My Experience with Samsung's Fraudulent Promotions! Buyer beware 😭😭😡😡😡

I am writing this not just as a formal complaint, but as an urgent warning to any consumer considering purchasing a Samsung product. My recent experience with a promotional offer has exposed what I can only describe as a calculated, fraudulent scam designed to mislead and defraud customers.

My ordeal began after I purchased a new phone Galaxy S25 FE, attracted by a promotion for free gifts. When I submitted my claim, providing all the correct information, Samsung's promotional support team denied it, offering the pathetic and transparent lie that the "details I have provided do not match the retailer's records." This is a disgraceful falsehood, designed to avoid honouring their own advertised offer.

When I challenged this decision and pointed out that a quick search online reveals a significant and growing number of customers reporting this exact same scam, the tone from Samsung's team became increasingly personal and spiteful. Instead of addressing the issue, they chose to attack me for questioning their process.

The situation has now escalated to an unbelievable level. Because I persisted in my legitimate attempts to claim what I was owed, Samsung has informed me that I am indefinitely banned for life from all their promotions, accusing me of "fraud." Let me be clear: I was accused of fraud for trying to redeem an offer they used to sell me their product in the first place. This is not only insulting but defamatory.
As a direct result of this insulting and illegal treatment, the new phone is being returned immediately. I will never, under any circumstances, purchase another Samsung product again. You have lost a customer for life.

Furthermore, I am making it my mission to ensure this experience is widely publicised. I will be strongly encouraging my friends, family, and my many followers on social media to boycott your brand entirely. I am also producing a detailed video for YouTube that will expose how Samsung is acting illegally, using false advertising to lure customers with the full intention of never honouring the offer for a significant percentage of submissions. This is calculated mis-selling.

Formal complaints have already been submitted to the UK Trading Standards Authority and the retail partner, who are now investigating this matter.
Do not be fooled by Samsung's advertising. Their promotional offers appear to be a sham, and if you dare to question their fraudulent practices, they will resort to insults and punishment.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Very Happy With My Experience

After reading several mixed reviews, I was a little sceptical about whether I would actually receive my promotional gifts the Galaxy Smart Watch 7 and Earbuds Pro when purchasing the Galaxy S25.

The Earbuds Pro arrived with the phone, which was a great start. I then submitted my claim for the Smart Watch 7 through Samsung’s website. Although the process required a fair amount of information, it was much easier than I expected. I was advised that delivery could take up to 45 days, but to my surprise, the watch arrived far sooner.

Overall, I’m really pleased with the experience. Don’t be discouraged by negative comments just make sure to read the fine print and ensure you meet the terms and conditions. If you do, there’s no reason you shouldn’t receive your promotional items as promised.

It’s not about repeat customers

Duration of Incident:
Saturday 27th of September 2025 to Saturday 4th of October 2025

Location of Incident: Samsung Store, Oxford Street. Also known as Samsung Experience Store.

On Saturday 27th of September 2025, £2048.99 was spent on a Samsung Z Fold 7 and three other items related to this phone.

I can’t tell you if this Samsung Z Fold product is better than the Apple iPhone, as due to a newly seated lack of respect for Samsung, I haven’t even taken the phone out of the box yet.
But I can and will tell you there are light years of difference between sales and after-sales between Samsung and Apple.

There’s little to no chance I will buy a product again from Samsung.
You can actually see sales staff interest waning in you as your credit card information gets absorbed by their credit card machine.

I’m told by the salesman not to open the box for the phone case before you purchase it.
As soon as the sale went through, the item was placed in the bag, and the salesman was gone.

With: No feedback on how to make the claim for the Samsung laptop which goes with this offer.

No feedback regarding which website I go to claim the offer of my laptop.

And definitely no help in the way of offering to help me make the claim with the assistance of a member of staff from the Samsung Store Oxford Street.
Not even being asked if I would like to even have help set up the phone I had just purchased.

So when in store, I asked the sales person regarding what website I need to claim my laptop. He started to look on his phone, then shortly after, he gave me a website.
After trying to access the site as well as two others, I was given nothing; much was happening. He then called for another sales person to help with the correct website.

I finally got the information for the website and went home. It took one hour and a half for me to provide the required information to only be told five days later via email from Samsung, sorry, but you have been unsuccessful as this offer is only for EE customers.

I went back to the Samsung Experience Store the following Saturday and spoke to the must unhelpful staff member you could imagine but no one more unhelpful the manager this day.

He went from no you can’t return the product due to not receiving the promotional items /

The box with the phone has been open doesn’t matter if it hasn’t been used or removed out of the box and it doesn’t matter that you had been asked to open it by Samsung to obtain the IMEI number for the promotion /

Why don’t you trying calling Samsung Promotions,
I did that already. I was told they’re closed on weekends.
Ok there probably not closed, just busy due to the high demand on a Saturday. Call back in the week.
Or try this web address.
Or I just spoke to a colleague and he says you must have put the wrong name of the store in that why it told you your unsuccessfully.
Or try this other email.

I’ve never experienced spending full price on a high end product but experience low end salesmanship. It was clear that I was like that annoying fly on a hot summers day. And they just wonted me gone with as little effort as possible.

In all I want to too different Samsung Stores both store had the same conduct regarding their sales staff.

I’ll go back to Apple next week Saturday and purchase a Phone 17pro max from a sales that have been proven to give a dame.

You see this is the thing with Samsung push special offers that are so difficult to claim you the customer will give up in the end.

And the have some of the must unhelpful stuff members you could think of that are not even sure them self of the correct web site to access.

I purchased 2 S25 Phones

I purchased 2 S25 Phones, which allow us to redeem for 2 Tablets. After following the instructions, including copies of the Telstra Invoices, I was informed that the Invoices weren't good enough. I had to contact Telstra Business who communicated directly, to get the redemptions approved. The interesting note was Telstra acted like this was standard.

Samsung as a street vendor

I bought a Samsung S25+ 256GB after seeing a Samsung Smartwatch pictured in the rewards section. I didn’t notice the “Learn More” fine print, and when I tried to claim the reward, I found out the actual reward was a Chromebook Go. My request to change it was refused.

I had been waiting three months for the Google Pixel 10 XL and feel misled by Samsung’s marketing. I ended up paying more than planned and got a Chromebook instead of the advertised smartwatch. This is a cheap marketing trick and Samsung should make offers clear and transparent.

So I bought a New Samsung- Flip 7...The offer stated that if you bought the phone between the end of August/ beginning of September, you will receive free Samsumg 3 pro buds and claim your purchase on Samsung reward you will get a free Samsung Cromebook laptop.

Well i submitted the claim as I had nothing to lose. After seeing the negative reviews I was sceptical on receiving the free laptop.

To my surprise i just received it..and I must say with all the freebies i got paying £1000 for my phone was a the real deal!
