Created with AI, based on recent reviews

Looking at 40 reviews, most reviewers were let down by their experience overall. Consumers heavily struggled with the extremely complicated online claim process, constantly encountering broken website links, endless technical loops, and unresponsive support teams. Many people also reported that their valuable promotional offers or cashback rewards were ultimately rejected or ignored after submitting all required proofs of purchase. Some people were satisfied with the promotions, successfully receiving their free promotional gifts and prepaid cards after finally completing the required claim steps. Samsung S9 ultra free keyboard cover

I ordered a Samsung S9 ultra tablet from Samsung online. Part of the offer was a free slim keyboard cover worth £199.
The keyboard didn't arrive and when I contacted Samsung they said they were out of stock so they wouldn't sent me one.when I checked the item was in stock and the offer was still available.
Bought loads of Samsung kit before, won't buy anything again, complete rip off

Generally all promotions have been recived on time …

Generally all promotions have been earl. the reason I'm giving 5 star is because every one I applied for have been earlier than 45 days but what I dont get is why you would pay a third party to do the promotion ie. Samsung send money or post ear buds or chromebook to the compaine to send in post again so they decided to give 45day to give the 3rd party time to recieve from samsung and post out to customers, it's not there fult that they havnt recived the reward in time to send to customers.

Expect a very long wait or for it to never arrive.

Order tab s9 ultra for £200 cashback, 45 days was up mid August and still yet to receive it. I’ve sent 2 emails and the first was a generic reply the 2nd they said it’s slow due to overwhelming demand. I’ve complained to advertising standards. They were bang on with a Watch6 for free when I did that free gift offer. But this was is really taking it. It’s a bank transfer so it’s instant it’s not like they have to post anything. It is not ran by Samsung it has been outsourced to a different company. Definitely will think twice next time before I purchase anything based on a free gift.

Scamsung

Purchased a Tab S9 Ultra based on the £200 cashback, but it looks like I'll never get it! When this tablet needs replacing, looks like I'll be buying an iPad

Maybe sometime cash back

I have always thought of samsung as a quality company all of the products purchased over the years have been quality. This is the first time of buying a product with a promotion. My ipad required changing and as the £ was so high and my wife has a samsung phone i looked at s9+ tablets and there was "free eatch" a good trade in offer and here is the biggy "£200 cash back" so like a fool i was hooked received the tablet not as good ss my ipad but at the price point after all of the tempting offers i have no complaint but where is my £200? I submitted my claim 30th june, claim approved 8th july 11th September still processing my claim, as with previous posts phoned customer services "back log" "technical issues" latest reply from my email enquiry high volume of interest delays in processing, it will be with you shortly, i have no issue with the product but based on this experience i would never ever trust samsung again and never recommend them, they do not deserve the rather high 1 star rating

Misleading promotion payment timescales

Bought vacuum cleaner, supposed to have £50 cashback. Claim received and approved by Samsung and promised payment "within 45 days" in my emails. It's now day 50 and nothing received and tracking still says it's processing. Spoke to customer service who just said delays due to lots of people claiming. I've just submitted a complaint to the Advertising Standards Authority about this as they are misleading customers with their written information clearly stating payment will be sent in a set timescale. It's up to Samsung to properly manage their promotions and clearly they are failing. It's easy to submit a complaint to the ASA on their website so if you are having the same issue I'd suggest doing that.

STILL NO CASH BACK 😕

I had my cashback promotion claim approved on the 26th June. Now this was supposed to be in my account within 45 days. We are now on day 70 and still no cash back. Twice I have phoned and twice been given the same drivel that there is a back log on the promotions being handed out. I am sorry but u can send money from bank to bank within seconds that is a terrible excuse. If you can't fulfill these promotions why do you offer them in the first place.

Is it a scam? No

Claim was approved same day buying a new phone. Was told cashback within 45 days. It's now been 61 days and nothing!

Update. Received offer in my bank after 80 days.

100% legitimate

Got my new samsung plus phone back in July, was advised I will receive £200 cash back from samsung, got my phone 05/07/2024, filled out what was required for the claim the same day, was approved straight away and was advised I receive my cash back in 45 days being closing date 19/08/2024.
Good news received it today with out any problems at all, so recieved it after 30 days, can't fault it at all.
Good service Samang.

100% LEGITIMATE

I was very worried about this being a scam after reading these but thought I'd wait the lengthy 40 days before making my complaint (4 August 2024). My money went in today (29 July 2024). More than pleased. I'm assuming that people who are moaning have got some details wrong I.e. IMEI number or SN number.

100% legitimate so don't worry, just wait for your money

Samsung Cash back offer doesn't work

I bought a qualifying Samsung TV but wasn’t able to complete my cash back claim because the form wouldn’t accept the serial number I entered.

I phoned the Help contact number provided on the claims page but it was just a recorded message with options that all direct you back to the Cash back home page.

I then completed the enquiry page but received no response.

I don’t regret buying my Samsung TV but suspect the Cash back promotion is a bit of a con. Still, you live and learn.

I'm reading these other reviews and…

I'm reading these other reviews and agree, total scam the information they ask for is almost impossible to find they use different words for everything, in my case a Vodafone purchase document but I will prevail andI will get my £150 back if it takes me the length of the phone contact, just a warning to others!

Purchased a S24 Ultra and was told about the free tablet. Got onto the web site and filled EVERYTHING in and submitted it. Ten weeks later contacted Samsung (unsure to what country answered) wasn't Australia. They said I didn't answer all the questions of purchase but we ticked every box. Then they said they emailed us straight away wanting more info, but everything they asked for was uploaded. Of course we never received the email. So basically too bad and then they hung up on me. Great support Samsung...NOT...!!!
I won't be buying another product and I buy a lot of Samsung purely because of the poor customer service and the lies...!!!!!
