The offer was a Samsung Classic smart…

The offer was a Samsung Classic smart watch in Currys before Christmas 2023. It included ear buds and an extra strap plus £75 cash back. I had to pay £269 up front. I gave all my details at the time of purchase and expected an email. I went back to Currys and the help desk said they weren't aware of the offer. I sweated on it and went back and this time they said I have to clain via Samsung. I couldn't find how on their site so rang them. The number was just cutting out immediately. By this time I was getting determined about it and found another number. This time it worked and the person was helpful. The process is wearing. You have to upload pictures of your receipt and the serial number which I did by photographing the back of the watch, and provide all your details. I got to the last section which requires your bank account details. It wouldn't accept mine because I have a joint account so it doesn't "exactly" match. I'm still going to keep at it. But it's obviously a trick where Samsung rely on many people giving up.
16-2-24
After several phone calls my claim has been acknowledged however Samsung has sent a further request for more information. It's a repeat request for my bank account details. I'm not confident that my details will be accepted as they say the account must be a personal/current account and my only current account is in joint names with my wife, which wasn't accepted before. I have discussed this over the phone and staff don't seem to know of a way forward. I'm just updating my experience as I suspect the problems will continue. I will update when I hear more.

After several more phone calls Samsung finally agreed to pay the cashback into the same account I used to pay for the watch. They said that it would take up to 45 days and they would email me to say when they had made the transfer. The payment went in a week later but no email was delivered.

All within the 45 days

Obviously can only speak to own experience for the S23 promotion of earbuds and cashback. Claim was approved on the day of submission (29th Nov). Earbuds arrived 19th December. Cashback cleared 8th January. So all within the 45 days and no issues.

Bought a SAMSUNG QE65S95CATXXU 65"…

Bought a SAMSUNG QE65S95CATXXU 65" Smart 4K Ultra HD HDR OLED TV with Bixby & Alexa on 27th November 2023 from Curry's Online with £200 Cashback advertised from Samsung.

I Proceeded to apply for Cashback online and failed when entering the Serial Number.
Three Customer service emails were to no avail and a one Technical Compliance Department email told me to enter as follows:-
Serial Number 0F283SiWB00095J
Using 0’s not O’s and i not 1, it worked.

On proceeding to the next page after entering a Correct Serial number, I encountered the following problem….

Samsung stated in Red ! The Promotion date had commenced 29th November 2023."
When I purchased from Curry's Online The promotion was valid at the 27th November 2023 and I sent a copy of the Online page.
My question was How do I now redeem my Cashback as the system will not allow me to conclude my claim online…?

Luckily I found an email for Kirsty Caswell
Senior Customer Services Executive | UK & Eire
Samsung Electronics
uk . president @ samsung . com

This Lady took charge and today 29th December has instructed the Customer service desk to contact me to provide Bank account details for the money to be paid straight into my account.

I am now waiting for this to happen !

Tv and soundbar £1000 cash back deal

Tv and soundbar £1000 cash back deal, calling Samsung told its not on the system multiple times. Then it times out , then asked to send all relevant information and details, only to be told its declined.
What's my fault??? Its not my intention to time out , they should be aware of all promotions information. Terrible experience

We purchased our Samsung TV a few weeks back. They wont accept our claim on-line and the phone number given is just asking you to go on-line which I suspect is a complete waste of time. Bad on Samsung to be dishonest.

Don't be fooled Samsung is conning you.

Purchased a TV for over £1000 on the premise of a £200 cashback. Which with unfathomable hurdles to jump through is no more than a con to boost artifical sales figures. Even the retail sales person and Samsungs own in-store expert was unable to process the claim. Compounded when another frustrated customer arrived requesting the same help. Genuiniely feel conned and wish i had purchased elsewhere.

Autumn Cashback on television

Autumn Cashback on television.

The site was almost impossible to find. Once found, I send the details in. I had to resend the receipt. Ok. All this happened with maximum delay on their part.

So, it was rejected because I bought in Northern Ireland but live in republic. No mention of this restriction in t&cs.

Process appears to be a to get details and find a reason to reject.

Misleading promotion

Bought a smartwatch which qualified for a duo charger promotion only to be told the particular sku of the watch doesn't qualify. Maybe shouldn't be advertising the promotion on product pages that don't qualify as this is very misleading, the watch model itself qualifies just not the sku. Very sneaky tactics especially when you see in the promotion in big letters enticing you to buy the product to qualify for the promotion. Still waiting for the outcome of my complaint.

I have given 1 star and that is not…

I have given 1 star and that is not even deserved.
I took out a contract with ID as was promised a Samsung note. I completed everything on time and received an email stating it was approved and I would receive in 60 days. - That was in March.....

I put it down to stock. I have gone to chase this for Samsung now to state that it was unfortunetly not verified therefore I can not get it. But I had an email to state it was approved????

I have emailed them back but I am also taking it to the Obudsman as after reading all of these comments it is something that happens a lot. Samsung and linked companies promising people promotions so they sign up to contracts and then not delivering. I could have gone with another mobile provider and saved money if I knew they were not going to give me the note.

Negative 5 stars to Samsung Bonus Redemption

Good god... how many hoops do we need to jump through to get the bonuses we're promised on purchase? I bought the SE23FE that is supposed to come with a bonus of 4 Smart Tags and a battery pack. The store assistant filled in my claim for me so I know that process had no errors on my part. The claim was "under review" then "approved" then "delivered" only it wasn't. I have phoned four different numbers given me by Samsung and sent emails to two different addresses (plus the one given me by Samsung that bounced) and all I get is "check your junk mail folder" and "we've resent the voucher" (today) and it should come from redemption AT samsung.com. I have never (including today) received an email from that address.
The offer closes today and the redemption period closes on Nov 19. How the hell am I supposed to get the bonuses offered? Oh wait, I know: the store should carry them in stock and hand them out WITH the phone on the day of purchase! What a NOVEL idea!

Where is my "cash back"

For a few years I have always attempted to use Samsung's cash back feature when it is an option for purchases and not even one time have I received anything. So a few months ago I decided to contact them and ask why I have never received the cash back. The customer service people have yet given me a reason. I am always told my issue will be "escalated ". The most recent "cash back" I didn't receive was on my instacart service which I use all the time. When Samsung contacted me vis email, I was asked to send my receipts. I use instacart all the time so it was an ordeal getting the full receipts, but I did it and emailed them the comings and never heard back. I called back and spoke to customer service and got the runaround once again eventhough I had the ticket number supposedly assigned to my case. Then I received an email asking for my receipts again. I can resend my original email but I have since tried to use the cash back feature atleast 15 to 20 more times maybe more and since it was such an ordeal the first time, I am not doing it again because I do not have faith in this company that anything will happen other than them asking for my receipts again. Upon looking back at my cash back historyI have made a lot of purchases I should've received cash back on. In a way I think I should've contacted them a few years ago when this first happened but I'm sure I would have gotten the same response, but maybe not because I have owned Samsung products almost as long as I have had a cellphone. I had Samsung phones before smart phones even came out. A little over a year ago I purchased 3 Samsung appliances and 2 of them have already broken but they are only warranties for a year and I was 2 months over a year. I now see why they only stand behind their products one year which is ashamed because Samsung products come with a hefty price tag. Bottom line, Samsung's cash back is false advertising and I would wash my clothes by hand and cook over a campfire before I eould ever buy their products or use their services again.
UPDATE
A week ago someone called from Samsung and asked for my receipts again and pretended to be apologetic. I was hopeful this person would help me since THEY reached out to me so I emailed them all the new receipts and forwarded my previous email of receipts and I received nothing.

All a big scam

All a big scam, make you send them almost your details and proof of purchases and apparently going to email me my money voucher within 30 days. Nothing received no voucher received within that time. Doesn't take them that long to send an email. They do not respond to any messages or complaints. Just another scam to get all our details with no intentions of actually providing what they promise

What a scam - don't believe a word currys tell you.

We bought a £2000 samsung tv 2 weeks ago and were told to contact samsung cash back offer to obtain a £200 refund. The company keep saying they need details from the receipt - 5 emails with individual photos of all the areas on the receipt. Now they want apicture of all 4 corners of it bit the receipt is so long that you can no longer read any of the details on it. They are trying every trick in the book to keep us jumping through hoop after hoop. I have just bought my last samsung item and will switch to sony. just read the online reviews on samsung cashback offer then buy a different make.

Samsung Cashback Offer 2023

After reading the previous reviews, I got worried whilst I was waiting to receive my cashback about the chance of not getting any. I purchased a Samsung S23 Ultra on Samsung UK website. Offer included free earbuds and £200. The purchase appears on the account registered. Earbuds have been delivered by DPD on the date shown on the account. I then applied online for the cashback offer. I followed the instructions and then through the help section I got in touch with the appropriate customer service to verify the bank account details that I've provided just to make sure they were correct. I received the cashback after 22 days.
