Fraudulent Trash
Fraudulent. Rejected my renewal payment so that they could charge me more to "get it back." They gaslight you to try to make you seem like your logic makes no sense. I'm upset I didn't see the review prior to doing business with them. Trash. Straight trash.
Worse Company on Planet earth
Worse Company on Planet earth.
I transferred domain from another registrar, on sav it showed "In tranfer" mode for 4 months and now when I wanted to change nameservers, they escrowed my domain (which I paid for, and was working fine on old ns) and they are not resolving it saying they are waiting for "specialist" for 20 days.
they are complete scam artists
they are complete scam artists. we purchased a domain through them, then they copied our brand, registered one themselves with the SAME name and are trying to sell it for over $19,000
The worst website
The worst website! DO NOT USE BECAUSE YOU WILL LOSE MONEY.
- No way of renewing
- no Customer service
- etc
They are totally theafs
They are totally theafs, they have stolen 2 domains until now and they will complete doing that, last time they charged me twice on a domain and didn't renew it.
They are worthless and scammer
I need the auth code to transfer my domain, but I never receive the OTP required to get it. I requested to disable mobile authentication, but even after that, the system still asks for OTP. I've contacted SAV multiple times, and they claimed to escalate it to the dev team, but nothing has happened. They’ve stopped responding to my emails. Because of this delay, I lost a sale and now have 3 expired domains I can’t renew. I'm completely stuck. Even today, I tried again still no OTP.
If you have valuable domains
If you have valuable domains, do NOT list them in these auctions. They will just steal them and you receive an email saying "GOING ONCE, GOING TWICE .. ". Litteraly they give you peanuts "$ 0.96" for your domains. I learnt my lesson. Bunch of thieves
This is the worst and dirtiest registry…
This is the worst and dirtiest registry in the world. They will hold your domains without any reason, citing system errors. Then, they will claim to have forwarded your issue to the development team, but it will never be resolved. Avoid such registries and never register your valuable domains with them.
Attention site frauduleux!!
Attention site frauduleux!!! Encaisse l'argent et puis plus rien
They autorenewed domains without…
They autorenewed domains without informing me. They send me emails for each domain that they will not be renewed unless i take an action.
They refused to refund.
Has Sav.com become a scam website?
Important review for all Sav customers: Proceed with extreme caution when dealing with this platform.
I have had pending funds for nearly a month. Every attempt to withdraw my balance fails with an error message stating that the site is unable to process the withdrawal.
I contacted customer support, and their only response has been repeated apologies and requests for patience, blaming “server issues.” No actual solutions have been provided.
My funds are still being held, and other customers may also be affected.
❗It is unacceptable for a company the size of Sav to be incapable of fixing such a critical issue—one that directly damages its reputation and customer trust.
I demand that a company representative respond directly here with a clear and specific timeframe for when withdrawals will be processed, instead of these ongoing delays.
Customer service is WORSE than you could ever imagine!!!
I contacted their CS after failing to get multiple domain names that I won and PAID for. Their CS told me they were gonna inform their Dev team to resolve the issue.
5 weeks later, their Dev Team responded to the ticket asking for "clarification" on the issue. This happened AFTER I already lost ALL the domain names I won in auctions and in spite of the MULTIPLE follow ups I sent asking their CS to follow-up with their Dev Team.
Over 1 month and their Dev Team had no idea what the problem was. Meanwhile, their CS assured me that their Dev Team were working on it because it was a "site-wide issue".
I have NEVER dealt with such level of INCOMPETENCE and neither have you.
bad platform
The worst platform. The customer service is bad. Simple things take days and weeks to solve. In my capacity as a domain trader, I advise everyone not to deal with it. My experience with it was disastrous.
sav.com deleted my domain and left me to solve the problem myself
I am writing this review to warn everyone about the extreme irresponsibility and incompetence of sav.com.
My domain was mistakenly deleted by their system. At the same time, I received no prior warnings about the deletion and only found out about the incident by complete chance. When I contacted customer support, they admitted their mistake but refused to take any real action to fix it. Instead of immediately helping to restore the domain, they only offered me a refund.
Due to their inaction, my domain became available, and to avoid losing it forever, I had to urgently re-register it myself. The company not only created this problem but also made no effort to solve it.
To make matters even worse, they still have not returned the promised money, even though the incident happened due to their fault.
It seems the company takes no responsibility for its mistakes. Their inability to solve the problem quickly and their blatant disregard for client interests show that they simply do not care about their reputation or the people who entrusted them with their assets.
I am extremely disappointed and would not recommend doing business with sav.com to anyone. I will now be looking for a new registrar that can provide a basic level of reliability and support.
Can't get my money back
I haven’t been able to get my money back for weeks. Support seems unresponsive, and the website is constantly lagging.
Locked out of account, support unhelpful. Avoid for domain sales
I created an account on Sav years ago, but only recently tried to log back in to use the platform. Despite showing the correct phone number on file, the system failed to send any verification SMS. Support was slow and kept asking irrelevant or impossible-to-answer questions like "When was your last login?" which is not something I can recall from years ago.
Worse, they are no longer accepting new registrations. This whole process feels eerily similar to the Epik situation: dormant accounts, small balances, and suddenly no real access or support. I suspect long-unused funds are effectively being locked out. Thankfully it was only a small amount, but I will never use Sav again for domain sales. A platform that cannot reliably allow existing users to access their accounts or process payouts should be avoided.
5200 USD reserved on our PayPal - WARNING !
Sav.com was a good domain backorder service till one year back with a reliable customer service ready to listen and to understand your needs ... But things have drastically changed since then unfortunately !
Last 9th June 2025 we've been shocked when we noticed Sav.com made a preauthorization of 5200 USD on our PayPal account but we didn't realize what was happening on a first time honestly ...
After a deeper investigation, we discovered they caught a .Biz domain previously backordered by us where the min bid was of $5,200 ... They decided to send this crap domain to auction which will end in few days and we'll surely win it considering noone else will be so crazy to bid.
What's the problem ? THeir backorder policy clearly states users are responsible for payment for their backordered domains ... Problem is a backorder usually equals to just few $x/xx ... In this case, they considered this .Biz domain as a premium one so they established a min fair bid was of $5,200
We got no warning message at the time we placed our backorder so no chance to know this was a premium name in their opinion and no way to make a fair decision about it.
There's no transparency in their backorder structure.
Yes, you can see your backordere domains in the list followed by the min placed bid but if you've dozens of backorders, you've no reason to check them individually considering the standard fee is of just few $xx ...
THey should have added a warning message to notify us about the min requested bid but they didn't.
IT'S IMPOSSIBLE OPENING A TICKET - Their ticket system is out of service since several months.
It's impossible contacting them by email considering all messages get ignored but we've been so lucky to reach an operator in chat who confirmed we're not eligible for a refund basing on their policy ... They didn't care about our reasons regarding the fact we haven't been notified in advance of the min requested amount.
The system accepted our backorder without giving us any notice about the upcoming exhorbitant bill and they'll not refund us.
THis's not the first negative experience we're experiencing with them so get warmed about Sav.com and pay attention when using their services because you're at serious risk to loose money and a PayPal dispute won't usually help you to recover your funds ...
Stay away from SAV.com - There're many other more reliable and more powerful domain backorder services on the market so we'll not repeat the same mistake again though they'll fraudolently steal our money for this time, it seems.
THeir marketing dept isn't realizing that all these negative reviews are strongly impacting the company reputation by resulting in the loss of hundreds of old and new potential customers who'll wisely decide to stay away from them.

My go-to registrar
The pricing of Sav is fair and reasonable. The support team is competent and outstanding.
The only cons of their service is that their website is still updating, and it is sometimes quite hard to find the settings/documentations you want (like receipts and transfer EPP code entry); however, I still enjoy using Sav as my registrar.
why 1 star !! why not zero stars
why not zero stars ? how come they allow such trash business online ??!! the worst platform ever seen, lags everywhere, stupid design, crazy frustrating experience, it takes you back to windows 2006 experience. such a shame to see this kind of platforms in 2025. i have 17 domains with sav bought since day one, now i'm stuck with this rabish, each time i login it is a nightmare.and never use their auction, even if you put apple.com it will be sold for 4-12$ the auction starts from 1$ only and no potential buyers.
