At the Scandic hotel Karl Johan in Oslo . Teeny room where we had to hang our clothes over the bed. The room was never swept, as there was a piece of tissue on the floor when we arrived and it was still there when we left. One day they didn't make the bed because i had left my pj's on the pillow. Towel trollys were blocking the stair well which was the emergency fire escape. When we complained, the manager just kept saying we had a pet in our room, which we did not. Vacuum cleaners were left on the corridors until 11 at night. And the company has not responded to our complaints at all. Disgusting place.

Centrally located, very convenient, all needed amenities provided. A good choice of breakfast. Gym (small but had all the basic equipment) & sauna were an excellent addition. Our room was clean and the staff helpful and friendly. Although the hotel is in the middle of a shopping street it was quiet in our room. WiFi was easy to connect to.

I dont know much about this hotel But all i Can say is the one in Horsens has unbeatable baked beans for breakfast.
Muuuuch superior to any other baked beans I have ever tried.
I could go for breakfast there and forget anything else. Just go for those BEANS F A N T A S T I C !!!!!

I stayed overnight in Scandic CPH Strandpark near Kastrup airport on 30-31st October 2022. My room was prepaid by an external company I travelled for. This has been confirmed at the front desk upon check-in. Still I had to hand in my creditcard for incidentals. Much to my surprise I was notified by my creditcard company that the hotel actually charged the room rate on my own creditcard. After some research work it appeared that the employee despite having confirmed that my hotel overnight stay was already paid for erraneously did this. They did refund me the surcharge, however not the handling/exchange difference which amounted over Euro 5 (due to non-eurozone). When I asked the hotel manager to make up for their mistake - he simply told me that ''from their end all was handled correctly'' (..). Be careful to go into this place. They just rip you off without any excuse and refer you to your credit card company to make up for the difference!

I have just visit Scandic in Gdańsk for 3 weeks and that was a very good stay.
The people, rooms, restaurant was nice and kind.
Special thanks to the girls in the restaurant, they was smiling, happy and ready with a quick joke.
Especially one of the girls (don’t know the name) was awesome with smile, happiness, jokes and fast.

The one word that can describe Scandic Sluseholmen well is “perfect”! Their rooms are cozy and just the right size, the temperature of the rooms and the washrooms are very well controlled, the washrooms have quality toiletries, the TV in the rooms are crystal clear and has interesting channels, the reception has a refrigerator beside where one can buy food or drinks any time of the day or night, and the hotel is just right beside a bus stop. One special shoutout to the very thoughtful room service: I had a messy bed with a shirt lying around that I forgot to move away when going out one day. After getting back, I saw that not only the room was pretty cleaned, but my shirt was very rightly folded and placed on the bed. And when I didn’t have a late checkout but I still had some hours to go, they let me keep my luggage with them safely and offered me to use the spa room for the shower as well. The only essential service that hotels serve customers is to make their stay as comfortable as they can and that’s exactly what Scandic Sluseholmen does really well!
