Dreadful treatment.

We have been Seasons timeshare owners for about 25 years. Last Christmas we received an abrupt email to say we were no longer able to use our local resort. This was where we signed our agreement and spent many happy holidays, and short breaks. No explanation, no apology just a rude brusque email. What an appalling way to treat customers that have kept their business going and help pay (with exorbitant fees) for the refurbishment of somewhere we are not able to use. Disgusting! I would have given zero stars if I could.

Courtesy and fairness

We have been Seasons owners for some years and we have enjoyed holidays at Seasons properties, most recently Belton in 2022 - excellent accommodation in a beautiful setting. We have recently been dealing with them on an issue of importance to us. We have been treated with courtesy and fairness at every stage and the matter has been resolved satisfactorily.

Do not use seasons!

Do not use seasons!! Firstly their customer service is shocking, they are so rude to existing members and should not be allowed to answer the phone.
Secondly, those iconic members like myself have spent a fortune and cannot book any holidays within a year. Also if you need to rearrange for any reason, you lose your whole week!!
The fact that many groups on social media with members having problems with seasons tells you a lot.
I hope this stops people using them and falling for the trap. Holidays are for enjoyment not for stress.

Not interested in existing members

My husband recently passed away and I advised Seasons. I was told that they would need a copy of the death certificate and they were not interested in our membership as we are not key holders. I have now received a bill, addressed to both of us, asking for £108 in the next 14 days. I was advised that this was outstanding fees and that a letter was sent in December. I have never seen a letter and was told it may have got lost in the post!!! and it relates to a charge increase that was not collected. I have also been told that it is up to the trustees to decide if the membership can be amended and I will be advised when this decision has been taken. Seasons treatment is terrible to say the least they are just interested in getting new members or more money out of existing. DONT DO IT. Forget writing to the managers as they do not reply to emails, even when you know they have read them, read receipt is a wonderful tool.
Some six months after submitting this review they have sent an email asking me to contact them using a different email address, asking me for further information, assuring me of prompt action, who are they kidding. I am not sure what further information I can give.DO NOT GET INVOLVED WITH THIS COMPANY AS YOU WILL LIVE TO REGRET EVERY PENNY YOU WILL BE WASTING.

Seasons preventing access to Laugharne without spending more money to upgrade

Been a timeshare owner with Seasons Holidays for 20 years. The apartments have gradually become more run down and booking more difficult, then just before Christmas we were told we couldn’t holiday in Laugharne anymore. We feel really let down!

Other disgruntled members can be found on Facebook: Seasons Holidays & Luxury Lodge Owners Group - Concerned members help group

I can't reply to Seasons response of the 11th of October because the 3 day deadline to do so passed whilst on holidays! Never mind, I'll update this instead.
Despite many members complaining, we are still waiting for a formal response from the company nearly 11 months after this sorry affair started.

Why would anyone want to speak to the so called Owners Team - they are the sales guys who just try to convince you to spend more money with the company to buy into a new product offering! I bought a product that entitled me to 60 plus years of holidays, yet the company have designated me a "core" member and that now only allows me access to limited, often run down accommodation.

DO NOT trust anything they say!

Being a Seasons Holidays Timeshare owner since 1996, we were shocked recently to find out we are no longer welcome at Dylan Coastal Resort (Laugharne Park as I consider it to be called).
Our continued loyal membership since 1996 appears to have no bearing on our status at Laugharne Park, even though we increased our ownership over the years to become "Elite Members", we are now apparently not elite enough.
We have not invested any more money in seasons since 2005 when were awared our "Elite" status, unfortunately no one advised prior to that last purchase that "Elite" status would require regular injections of cash to maintain it.

We have enjoyed multiple holidays every year (pandemic permitting) at Seasons resorts and have no other worthwhile complaints, but now we appear to be considered outcasts and lepers at Laugharne Park due to our unwillingness/inablity to fund the Hurleys latest schemes.

Whatever you do when you talk to "Guest Relations" (the sales team), or the recently renamed "Owners Team" (the sales team), keep a grip on your wallet and sign nothing.

I repeat - Do Not Trust Them!

Do not trust Seasons

As with many comments below, we have been Seasons members for 20 years and up until recently I’ve spoken positively of them. However, the ban from using Laugharne (we’re Brunston keys owners) is the tip of the ice berg. On a recent call with a seasons employee, she confirmed these restrictions would gradually start to happen at other resorts as the various investment schemes sold come to fruition.
All the sales talk at the various meetings I’ve attended never once mentioned this, only that we’d be able to continue enjoying the resorts and accommodation.
It’s not just a question of the legal issue, but the complete and utter breakdown of any trust with anyone from seasons, which was emphasised when the person on the call had the audacity to then try and sell an upgrade on our membership! Unbelievable

Seasons Holidays- disappointed members.

Hi,

We have owned a sleep 4 week in Laugharne since 2001 and bought another week in 2007 and exchanged one of them in 2012 for Keys in Lanzarote.

They have made loads of false promises over these years, but from 2012 to now they keep moving the goal posts without even contacting us on many of the rule changes

Originally family and friends could stay using our reduced prices. Originally we could take dogs, within weeks that changed. We and extended family could use the facilities anytime we were near any of their premises.

They were going to build new additional resorts in Turkey, Malta, Gran Canaria, Portugal, Fuerteventura, Cyprus to name but a few.

They told us they had bought the County Hotel in Bath, that only adult members could stay, then that totally changed.

They have used our money (existing members) to refurbish Laugharne, and now despite us owning a week in Laugharne, they are now telling us we have to be Keys owners at Laugharne to be able to use it.

This is not on, they keep moving the goal posts to suit them with less and less availability for existing members, they are happy taking holiday payments from the public on one off holidays, against their existing members.

Now they expect us to pay £100 refundable deposit for breakages. We haven't had to do that previously.

We bought in the UK because we thought we would be better protected. It doesn't appear that we are protected properly.

Is there a group where we can complain as a group?

Avoid this company

We have been members for many years. We bought keys at Whitbarrow. Because we haven't invested more thousands of pounds our allocated accommodation is sub standard. We paid for sleep six. What we get is 1 bed and a pull out bed. Burn park our one bed cottage had damp and mold on the walls. Laugharne we had the wooden huts that had seen better days. Customer relations as good as told me it won't get better until I re invest. Now they are blocking us from resorts. Shocking company.

We are disgruntled original Laugharne Park owners…

We are original Laugharne Park owners for almost 30 years. We bought a one week October Half term timeshare at Laugharne Park Dylan 14, which slept 4 in a double and twin bedroom. The contract enabled us to pass on the timeshare to our relatives. THEN, Seasons bought over Laugharne Park and wanted £3,000 to join Season Membership, which we refused for a few years until persuaded with a much lower Membership deal. Now our fixed week was no longer and we were promised a stay in any resort in flexible week. Being a teacher before retiring ,it was almost impossible to get weeks to fit in with my holidays and when we were able, we now could only have a sleep 4 with one bedroom and a pull out sofa. Now retired, this was far from the Luxury holiday!!
Eight years ago ,with no real opportunity to get rid of the timeshare ,we were persuaded to buy a Flexipack for 16 weeks ,taken once a year or however we chose to use it. This cost us £7,500/ To date we have used 10 weeks but always in accommodation that were in need of upgrading. We have watched Laugharne being demolished, waited for 30 years to see the pool and upgraded luxury accommodation being built and now retired and hoping to use Laugharne ,which is only under an hour's drive from our home, to be told our Flexipack does not allow us to stay in these lodges and to date_ - Laugharne is not available to such as us anymore !!!! Is this legal?
We have an appointment next week ,at Laugharne to discuss this dreadful situation and wonder what wonderful promises they will offer!!! We may be old but we are not stupid!!! ! I join all the other dismayed nembers. Shame on you Seasons!

After years of paying upto £590…

After years of paying upto £590 maintenance, paid to maintain and develop the Season resorts ,on Top of the original monies to purchase the timeshare we are Now told we cant use the "Dylan costal resort" aka Laugharne Park where My wife's share was purchased from.

A place we visited during the building work and had a tour of, showing off what WE WOULD have at our disposal on completion, after YEARS OF PROMISES the site would be refurbished TO the standard we expect , not BEYOND what we are allowed to use.

Fees that state they are for "maintenance and of course an improvement programme to make your holidays even better" not make them so good your not allowed to use them!!

Disgusting behaviour!!

Will we see a reduction in our maintenance as we shouldn't be paying to maintain the part we cant use !!

We have also received the email banning…

We have also received the email banning us from Laugharne. How they are allowed to do this is beyond me. We own 26 keys at Brunston and our contract states that we are allowed to holiday at any resort, paragraph 11. It also states that the contract is legally binding and can only be broken by both vendor and purchaser signing. We have not been asked to sign anything and I think Seasons ( who we used to think were great) are breaking the law by doing this.

I tried to book at Laugharne using our Brunston Keys week. Membership Services refused and said only Laugharne Keys owners can book there. This is in direct contravention of what Seasons promised when we bought the Keys.

No longer welcome?

Like all other recent posts, we received the letter yesterday about the Dylan Coastal resort at Laugharne. I was appalled by the tone of the letter, which showed no respect for us as members since 2007. We are 26 keys members at a different resort but not sure whether we would be able to stay at Laugharne, or whether only keys members at Laugharne are welcome. Would be interested in and welcome any information from other members about this and whether legal action is possible, as suggested by others.

No longer welcome at Laugharne.

We are one of the many Seasons owners who received the not so Merry Christmas email. We are 36 share key holders and when we purchased this package were assured that whilst we wouldn’t be able to avail ourselves to the Dylan lodges at Laugharne, that the Pembrokes were to be upgraded and would be available to all members along with the long awaited multi million pound leisure facilities,It would appear that is no longer the case.
Today we received a delightful round robin letter reiterating the above and instructing that we members are not to ring membership services number about this matter but all queries are to be made by email.
Which resort will be next?
