Beware of SERCO

Me and others went through the long process of becoming a Driver Examiner . In day 2 of training for the position we received a layoff letter!!
Serco only hires you to fulfill their KPI's, they have personal waiting or MTO slaps them with fines. A terrible way to treat people. Out of 11 trainees 9 received letters!. Part time employees are treated like dirt, beware not a good company

No problems!

Personally, I have never once experienced anything at all negative when in contact with Serco. Everybody there is polite, civil, respectful and they often give you free gifts. Marvellous!

Sell outs of the British people by…

Sell outs of the British people by spending millions of taxpayers money on housing illegal migrant men in hotels across Britain. Encouraging more illegal migrants to enter the country at a time when Britain is facing a recession. Thousands of homeless British people, thousands of elderly having to choose between eating or heating, thousands relying on food banks they don't get any help. Seems you would like it if this tiny island got concreted over to house the thousands of illegals.

Awful company ethos from top to bottom it seems.

Clandestine discrimination, racisim, breaching of participants rights within this company

Clandestine racism, bigotry & abusers of people's right under the Equality Act 2010

This is a comment from an Ingeus/serco staff member about a participant.

"I feel really intimidated by L**$(£$ and have done from day one, I am not comfortable working with him and I have expressed this before in causing, but I need to make it official as he understands me, he is a big man and is usually upset or irritable when I see him or talk to him, he was angry on the phone just and is demanding a freedom of Information Act, and accusing me of trying to impede his progress, which I am most certainly not. I came to you and asked all the questions you put to me and have only advised him what I have been.
He unnerves me as he is so big, and I feel he could explode at any minute; I really don't want to work with him anymore due to this. Is there anything you can do to help me with this please."

The fear or intimidation that you feel dear Ingeus/Serco staff member is your clandestine racism and the fact you wish to cover yourself knowing that on numerous occasions you have breached my rights on health & safety, Equality Act 2010, discriminated by doing nothing to in pursuing the H&S course and fobbing the customer off by stating it costs too much yet you were incapable of even looking for courses.

Yet you wish to fabricate that I was angry in the conversation that we had & stating demanding an FOI. Which I am legally entitled to request an FOI on what actions you took to find courses, which was none.

Now I have sent in a complaint to Ingeus/Serco about this staff member and also the telephone recording of the converstaion we had to prove this bigoted Ingeus/Serco member of staff is a liar who has issues with my size, colour & disability and the fact I have expressed concern about her up through her Manager on her conduct.

Ingeus/Serco have deliberately failed to acknowledge this complaint. Even breaching their own code of conduct on complaints of acknowledging complaints in 3 working days. It is now 8 days and this company has failed to give a complaints ref number.

Yet all senior staff. The legal department & the CEO are sending the complaint amongst themselves and attempting to formulate ways to downplay this complaint. At the moment it seems that ignoring my complaint & emails requesting why I have yet to receive an acknowledgment is their master plan.

So Ingeus/Serco, are you going to have the integrity to acknowledge the complaint/s that I have sent you with audio evidence to back up my clam or continue to hide like an organisation that is paralysed with fear?

Yes I am so big, black and able to articulate myself and that is why FOI's & SAR's were requested. I also know when to cover myself when Ingeus/Serco staff decide to discriminate and attempt to provoke a reaction out of me.

I recommend anyone dealing with Ingeus/Serco Restart to cover yourself (record conversations/write down whats being said) as it seems that SOME staff will fabricate lies if you challenge them on their discriminating conduct.

Please understand Ingeus/Serco I will not tolerate discrimination but it seems that Ingeus/Serco is happy to allow discrimination of participants that attend Restart.

Assisted Bin Collection Nightmare!!!

Been trying for months to get assisted bin collection for my disabled mum, I’ve complained about 3 times now and given assurance by email and verbally it’s in place but they’re not emptying the bins! Clearly no communication between departments and the people on the ground doing the actual job we need doing! Thanks Serco, we have bins stinking to high heaven and flies everywhere.

Terrible customer service and company

They are only getting a 1 star as there’s no option for minus. Very terrible company. Been at my address for nearly 8 years and never had any issues with my bin collection til they come along. All of a sudden they refused to take my black bin, their reason because I use my own purchased black bin. When I initially called up to report missed bin, they stated there was no note on file to explain why that was. Later that day, I had a call from a lady telling me that because the council logo is not on the bin and also that I had 3 bins out, I disputed the 3 bins and submitted photos from my ring doorbell. I placed the garbage into the only supplied logo bin, bearing in mind there’s an annexe also on the property for which 2 bins should be supplied. I complained via email only to receive the following response, not addressing points raised re calling me a liar re amount of bins put out, or the way I was spoken to by one of their staff members: also note, there’s no opening to the email or closing, as in who the email came from:

Good Afternoon,

Thank you for your response.

I have looked into this for you and can see in June a member of the council came out to your address and could see 1 x non-council bin at your property- going forward the crew will only empty the KL bin that you have at your address.

The non-council bin they will not empty – this property is also not authorised to have additional bins.

I can see also on the system you spoke with my colleague today, and I’m afraid the crew will not be returning to empty the bin.

On collection dates the crew will only empty 1 x 240l KL refuse bin on refuse collection dates and 1 x 240l KL recycle bin on recycle collection dates and The food caddy on both waste stream collection dates.

I hope this helps and if you have any further enquiries please do not hesitate to contact us.

END OF THEIR EMAIL WITH NO ADDRESS — Stay clear of this company if you can

I worked here for 2 years

I worked here for 2 years, the only place where most of the workers are scummier than the people they're dealing with. Management is a mess, only getting somewhere if you're in their clique or sleeping with each other. Hard workers aren't rewarded and managers friends, get easy jobs, over time. If you're a hard worker don't go here, you'll be walked over!!
A good example, Michelle Stephens won't put your requests through to the hierarchy. Will purposely ruin your booked holidays and when you're on holiday you'll be pestered doesn't help those that are hard working. She's lazy and slow and rude and they're all on power trips here.
AVOID AT EVERY COST. PRISONERS SHOULD HOPE AND PREY TO GO TO A COURT NOT RUN BY SERCO.

Aroura Gym Bangor Worst Service in Northern Ireland

I had a big issue with the reception staff that were very rude and spoke with the manager Lisa about this. After that there was an incident at the squash court that I felt was handled again very unprofessional and really embarrassed me and my stepfather. The squash registration app was not loaded on my main fitness app which I explained to the reception staff and they couldn’t help. So we would usually go play squash during the week without pre registering. Then on a Sunday we went again and was playing for about 10 minutes until we notice another two players outside the court. Immediately we asked them if they registered, and they said yes and we left the court. They had already called reception and in the next 5 minutes the older receptionist came down and immediately started aggressively asking us why we didn’t book. We explained the above and wanted to go but she wouldn’t have that she kept us at the bottom there in front of everyone carrying on with this questioning. Each time we said we apologise she said but why did you do it. This I found very unprofessional and embarrassing.

2. When I signed up one of the main reasons was for my son and me to swim. I then got told 2 months into the contract that the pool was closed indefinitely for younger swimmers (2 years old) except for classes. He has now moved to a new gym with his mother which we are also paying for. So I am paying for a service I do not have.

3. I told my brother to join the gym with me and for this I would receive a month free membership. After not receiving this discount after two month I spoke again with Lauren as well as the other person in the office to again request the 1 month free. To date I have never received this free month with it being over 5 months ago. I consider this false advertising to entice people to bring in their family members under false pretenses.

Do not subscribe to this gym. Bad service, bad employees and services you pay for dont work and they cant even tell when it will come back again.

Shocking company to work for

Shocking company to work for, the HR manager Ryan Knightingale is incapable of running HR. The staff are micro managed. The managers think there something there not especially Julie mcguffrie a very poor manager. Poor pay, worse than capita to work for. My advice keep away from this company it won’t be for so long the DWP will remove the contract off them

I’m 21 I have bills to pay like…

I’m 21 I have bills to pay like everyone but now have been left jobless thanks to serco and blue arrow. I was given a start date of the 29th November. Monday morning I logged in and no one knew I was working I hadn’t been put on the system. It’s taken them until Friday so 5 days to get back to me to why I am not working. This is the email I got … Serco had asked us for 130 people then suddenly they wanted 50 people. So we now have a lot of people that are not in work. Serco have instructed us Bluearrow to only hire office based people in December then in January we can hire homeworkers again

So they made me quit my job, gave me the start date and without telling me just didn’t put me on the system as they didn’t need that many workers anymore, however I was employed by them and collected a laptop
