Customer service was excellent. Thank you Gaynor and Lucy. Scott assessed and repaired our faulty sensor lights accurately and efficiently. Second time using this company they always provide excellent service.

Needed electrician, found these guys mentioned on a community forum, gave them a call, quick turnaround to arrange a same day visit – they asked for a £150 deposit to be taken over the phone. Not a problem.

Electrician attended, nice guy, needed to go out and buy a new light switch, did that, came back, fitted, job done. Told me it was half an hour labour plus the cost of the switch, so £95, Card payment provided. Done.

Perhaps I should have asked, perhaps it should have been better explained, but the total cost for the job was spread over the two invoices – the deposit is more like a call out fee, and the extra payment was on top, making the total cost for the light switch swap close to £250.

While the work was done same day and the issue appears to be fixed, I can’t help but feel just a little bit ripped off.

I was referred to SES by my plumber to find out why there was no power supply to my tenants washing machine. They sent someone within 2 hours who immediately identified a fault in the power socket which he fixed quickly. The electrician also identified a few other things which he fixed and then tidied up afterwards. I think SES was good value considering how many things they fixed within 90 minutes – I thoroughly recommend them.

It was such a pleasure to deal with everyone at SES. They respond quickly to messages. They got someone out the same day for my job and the following day for another follow on job. Both electricians were polite, friendly, clearly highly professional and knowledgeable and gave me the feeling that they genuinely cared about me, the customer, which is something that you don't often get anymore.

A professional service. Ryan the electrician arrived on time and was polite and professional throughout. Very satisfied with the service received. The electrical report was received the same day. I would definitely recommend this company.

Alan did a thorough job of replacing a fuse board and testing it to ensure it was all in order, explained clearly what he was doing, without using technical jargon.

The all-important completion certificate was provided in less than 10 days.

All staff at SES have been extremely helpful! I had a new Fuse board fitted, Fire alarms installed, various electrical works done and extra sockets put in. The team who carried out works at my property were very professional, knew exactly what they were doing and got the job done quickly and efficiently! Thank you Scott, Sam, Ed and Byron! I had the pleasure of a visit from Ryan, an extremely professional, talented and communicative specialist. He spent a number of hours at my home and talked me through all the works provided clearly and with a high level of knowledge. Having had many such traders in my home, Ryan was by far and away the best I have met and dealt with. I cannot recommend this chap and company enough. Please tell him his Dad should be very proud of him, he’ll know what I mean. A class act.

Communication with the office about the job was easy, pre arrival notification was good. Ryan who did the work was efficient, super pleasant and tidy.

Our RCD was tripping repeatedly due to dodgy old wiring. SES sent someone out within a couple of hours of us calling, tracked down the issues, got our electrics working well enough again, and identified some bigger jobs that would need doing in the near future. Engineer was knowledgeable, professional, and explained things in plain language without wasting time. Excellent.

Rez who attended was very neat and polite. Carried out work with no fuss and kept everything clean throughout.

Wonderful experience start to finish. I was contacted almost immediately regarding my enquiry and did not have to wait long for an appointment. Communication with the office was top-class and all the administration smooth. The electrician was friendly and the fault was identified and new light fitting installed within the hour. Such a professional company to deal with, I would certainly use them again.

SES electrical contractors is residential electrical business, comparable to the very worst of any profession.

Extortionate rates for any totally unnecessary work that it thinks it can be claimed for.

AVOID. GO ELSEWHERE.

It wants me to talk with it. I don't wish to to waste a second more with SES.

I would rather people got honest reviews and didn't waste their hard earned cash.

I have never called SES Electrical Contractors a garage or a cafe or anything else.
