Got a call from Shieldpay thought it was a scam was reassured that it was true I was still unsure then I got an email from another member of the team and within 16 days I had my money which I forgot I had claimed for VW low emissions and Shieldpay was there for me so if you get a call from them it’s not a scam I have the mot in the bank thank you so much Shieldpay for your help cheers

I received my emissions compensation money today and it was quick and easy. The team are super helpful. I thought it was a scam but it really isn’t! Thank you so much

I have checked trust pilot today following posting a review. I cannot see this, i assume it has been removed.. this seems to be a scam i have not received payment
Update; contact and payment received, process was fully explained to me on the phone and less than 30 minutes after i could see the payment.

I was a bit concerned it could be a scam, but when I voiced my concerns by email I asked if I could have a cheque for my claim, they replied and sent me a link to my bank, entered details five days later my claim was paid into my account. After being concerned it was great service.

Despite the positive reviews, I believe the Milburg/Shieldpay VW Emissions payment to be a scam. I am not confrontable accessing my Bank via the Shieldpay Link. I have tried to contact both companies to no avail. everything seems professional - however Scams are now much more elaborate. Unless i can contact someone - i'm convinced its a scam

The company are very friendly and professional

Sold shares in a business. Shieldpay given distribution list for Funds on Friday. Funds received by Shieldpay Monday am with instructions for same day payment transfer. Smallest amounts immediately transferred. Several phone calls on Tuesday requesting updates on payments with no concrete confirmation. 3 larger amounts eventually transferred late Tuesday. Final transfer not completed until late Wednesday despite telephone calls asking reason for non payment. Below is response from Shieldpay which is a company i would never use again nor recommend.
The release notice did not reflect our standard structure which equated to a human error, once we established this error we acted safely and quickly to rectify, and sent the payments same day, unfortunately one of these payments was then held for further checks by our new banking partner which caused further delays.

The team have established a comprehensive list of actions to undertake, to mitigate reoccurrence, which I have shared below for transparency:
• Organise further training internally on release notices, along with the aim of establishing a standard format with SPB.
• Update the Customer Service Manual (currently in draft) to set our customers expectations on the format of release notices.
• Enhance our payment checklist.
• Submit change/new feature request to technology to enable a payment instruction to be automatically created based on the agreement in contract.”

I was a little dubious in the beginning handing over my bank details, but within 3 weeks the money was paid into my bank account. Very good experience 👍

Once I had convinced my self this was not a scam! The payment went through seamlessly, smoothly and quickly.

Remember electronic payments have the potential to be defrauded so remember your due diligence on a transaction by transaction basis! Please make these checks in person to avoid those who would defraud you!

I have contacted my bank and they have told me to avoid supplying my bank details as it is fraudulent. Why not just send a cheque instead of asking for bank details?

Like many other customers I was very cautious about Shieldpay I carried out extensive due diligence and decided to forward my requested details The service and response was excellent and I received my monies within a few days I can highly recommend Shieldpsy as a professional, honest and trustworthy company

I was sceptical but this is not a scam and this company is amazing at its job they done everything I literally gave them nothing to go on but still got a pay out so if they ask to link to your bank it’s legit if your sceptical don’t be as your bank will have measures if they think it’s fraud but believe me it’s not great work shield pay

I was skeptical after receiving emails from Shieldpay regarding my Milberg compensation payment for the VW emission scandal - so I did my research and all looked okay. I received my payment today - just over £1200. I emailed the support team and they were very helpful! It’s legit!

Had the money the same day i recieved the email. Cant ask for anybetter than that.
