Sitting Spiritually of Lyme Regis Reviews

I commissioned our four-seat oak swing seat from Sitting Spiritually way back in 2016. After a decade of Great British weather (and, admittedly, little maintenance on our part), it needed some pampering. Nick arranged for the swing seat to be whisked away and comprehensively refurbished while we moved house. Delivered earlier this week, the swing seat looks next to new and feels right at home in our new garden. Take this as your sign to commission your own — you wont regret it!

Sitting Spiritually is a great Company. I ordered a Spiritual sitting Bench with a rose in the middle of the back and it is beautifully crafted!! Also the most comfortable bench I have ever sat on. I have had this bench for 2 years now and enjoying it very much.
The little ammonite side tables are absolutely beautiful!!
I am so enjoying these wonderfully crafted pieces.
Thank you!!!

Nick and his Team from Sitting Spiritually recently completed an excellent refurbishment of my swing seat. I was delighted at the exceptional workshop refurbishment that Nick and his Team carried out and for rejuvenating my swing seat and bringing back all its natural beauty and features.

Nick provided a very efficient service and excellent communication and updates throughout the refurbishment process including forwarding me a helpful photo of the completed refurbishment work to my swing seat.

Sitting Spiritually used a wonderful company called Saturn Removals to collect, dismantle, transport my swing seat to the Sitting Spiritually workshop and then transported it back to my home and expertly reassembled it. Saturn Removals also provided a superb service and kept me updated regarding the delivery.

I am grateful to Nick for steering my refurbishment project through to its re-installation. It really is a superb service that Sitting Spiritually offer, I am most grateful and I highly recommended this excellent company.

I can do nothing better than quote William Morris as regards my experience of buying a swing seat from Sitting Spiritually. "Have nothing in your houses that you do not know to be useful or believe to be beautiful ".The seat is a work of craftsmanship, including the carved oak leaf and acorn. It sits gently in my garden. The company was so straightforward and efficient to deal with including its installation, thank.you.

Excellent caring service. My swing has been beautifully renovated. Quick and efficient collection and delivery. We are delighted with it and looking forward to many more year’s enjoyment.

I am delighted with the refurbishment of my 9 year old swing seat. It has been beautifully done, with a couple of replacement slats. And now I can get back to enjoying it in my garden during the summer.
The collection service and delivery and reinstallation by Saturn Removals couldn't have been better.

I would thoroughly recommend Sitting Spiritually.

Our swing seat is beautiful and the build quality is fantastic. We are delighted!

Through a series of measuring issues and errors on my part, this order had to be reconsidered and rebuilt. Through it all representative Nick was unfailingly patient, understanding, helpful, and encouraging. It was clear that Sitting Spiritually wants their customer to have a superior product and an enjoyable design experience. I ended up with the perfect swing set, in a custom color, and it really is a sublime pleasure to sway in it and feel the cares of the world drop away. A special delivery arrangement was made to account for my tricky, sloping site. Very impressive company.

Excellent service , good communication, and the refurbished seat looks as good as new, couldn't ask for better.

Not just a beautiful swing (double seat) but first class, 5 star, polite, welcoming, customer service where all our requests and queries were dealt with in person, promptly, with no quibble.

Our tired swing seat was restored to a very high standard. Service was incredible as is the standard of workmanship AND collection/delivery! Now looks like new. Thank you so much!!

I had long hankered after one of the Sitting Spiritually swings seats as a replacement for our metal one but unfortunately they were beyond my price point. I was delighted therefore when the opportunity arose to purchase one of their fully refurbished seats as a surprise for my wife’s birthday. I purchased the seat and a new cushion along with 2 new scatter cushions, and a cover. SS kindly agreed to hold the seat for me and to deliver and install it whilst I was away in order that it here on our return. I dealt throughout with Nick Hunter at SS who was brilliant. Non of my requests fazed him. The delivery and installation were handled by their dedicated transport partners - Saturn - who also did a brilliant job. The whole experience was customer experience at its very best. Well done.

We bought our lovely swing seat over a decade ago and decided to take up the offer of a refurb so it would last longer. Easy collection and redelivery a few weeks later. Amazing transformation with several slats renewed. Really pleased. Sadly can’t post photos to show the transformation.

Got this as a present for my wife to swing under the oak tree. The whole experience was excellent from start to finish with great communication. The swing is very high quality.

Having been subjected to 10 years of wind and sea air and salt, when we sought advice about a repair Sitting Spiritually suggested refurbishment. They lifted the bench from Kent and returned it to Lyme Regis where it was totally transformed. Utterly amazed when it was returned and every step went like clockwork.

An excellent company in terms of product and service.
We were delighted with our garden swing chair when purchased 2 years ago.
This autumn we used Sitting Spiritually refurbish service and has not only taken it back to its new condition, but even enhanced.
They are also a very friendly and helpful team who I highly recommend.

We are extremely pleased with our new swinging bench. The service we received throughout the made to order process was exceptional. We visited Martin’s garden and he was able to show us the full range of products and the various options available to suit our needs. We wanted inscriptions on both the frame and the bench and we were guided on the choice of font and positioning. The delivery and assembly service was first class and we are delighted with the final product. I am sure it will bring us many years of joy as the craftsmanship and material are so good.
A big thank you to all the team at Sitting Spiritually. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend you.
