Jo is an amazing trainer. She keeps everyone engaged and makes sure everyone understands the information while we have fun gaining the knowledge.

Becky was great, humorous and personable throughout the training.

The trainer was very friendly and made everyone feel comfortable, he was funny and this led to a great and productive session. I felt like i learned a lot during this session.

I done a refresher a few months ago in Gillingham, Kent with Paul.
Not only was Paul a very good teacher, he makes it fun and he is very knowledgeable.
On top of all that, I never knew I was going to be using the skills that he had taught me in so soon.
Whilst on holiday, there was a man playing with his family in the pool, when he dove in to the pool, hit his head and went unconscious under the water. He went a few minutes underwater without being noticed. By the time they had pulled him out he his face was grey and his lips were blue.
Hearing his family and friends shouting for help I ran over and started using all of the skills that Paul had taught me. Cutting a long storey short I ended up needing to perform chest compressions and rescue breaths. This person is now in hospital and they are hopeful that he will make a full recovery.
In my eyes St John’s ambulance and there great teaching skills has saved another life.
Thank you to Paul and St John’s ambulance for making sure we understand what we are doing and giving us a skill to help others.

Very good first aid course at the West Bromwich branch of St John's, our trainer, Megan, was very helpful, knowledgable and made the 3 day course enjoyable with her enthusiasm throughout the course, thankyou.

Good trainer, should point out however that I didn't attend a mental health first aid course!

I had a great Fist Aid training session. Everything was well organised and they provided enough training materials. The group was just perfect 12 people which made it easy to carry out the practical sessions. Keep up the good work.

I just completed my First Aid refresher course with Jason Thompson from St John Ambulance and I can’t recommend him highly enough.
Jason was brilliant — knowledgeable, clear, and so funny too! He made me feel really relaxed throughout the course and the practice scenarios were excellent.
I learned so much, including things I didn’t know like not giving aspirin to under 16s, and how important it is to take charge and get bystanders to help in an emergency.
I now feel so much more confident to deal with any first aid situation. Thank you Jason!

Did the EWFA today in Ealing. The facilitator of the course, New Yorker Jay was absolutely fantastic and made the course informative, useful and even enjoyable.

I really got a lot our of the 3 day 1st Aid course. The course gave me the confidence to administer 1st Aid to someone in need. Our trainer was excellent, providing practical information and getting the whole group involved. I would recommend this course to someone else.

Jase was a great trainer, taking time to learn about the people in the room and using a range of teaching styles to get key messages across.
