I genuinely wouldn't recommend this…

I genuinely wouldn't recommend this site to purchase anything. About 7 weeks I ordered a flicker as a birthday present which still hasn't arrived. I was also in touch with Meg in customer service who explained there were delays with suppliers and offered a full refund instead, which I opted to take. That was almost 2 weeks ago and have yet to also receive that. A site to stay clear of. A very upset child and a very frustrated parent.

Pretty bad ordering experience but good customer service

Pretty bad ordering experience - I didn't receive any email confirmation when I ordered, even though the money had left my account. It was very hard to find out how to contact Skatehut to report an issue. It then took a very long time to get a response to my issue and I had to chase. Once Meg the customer services person got involved she resolved the issue very quickly though.

Excellent customer service recovery

Meg helped us out today with a query and was able to resolve the issue professionally and with empathy. Great communication and understanding and an excellent example of how to recover customer service when things haven't quite gone to plan. Thank you

No customer service, extremely slow delivery

No customer service, no phone number. Stated 2-4 days for delivery, I've heard nothing after 2 and a half weeks (also sent a ticket but still nothing). Prices look good, but delivery and customer service is non-existent.

Meg gave me fantastic service

Meg gave me fantastic service. I had an issue with express delivery and she really listened to my concern and sought to resolve this swiftly. She was kind and polite and I was really happy with the resolution she offered. Lovely service!

No communication, no order

No communication, no reply to emails and absolutely no explanation. Just take your money and expect you to wait until they decide your order comes. Used previously without issue, quite frustrating this time, order die to be delivered on the 19th to 21st may, first communication made on the 9th of June to explain they were waiting for some parts of the order. Meg was very helpful though and my only positive experience.

THIS SHOP IS A SCAM!!!

THIS SHOP IS A SCAM!!!! DO NOT ORDER YOUR SKATES FROM HERE!!!! No replies no updates! Says your skates will be with you 4-5 days it’s been 4 weeks still no skates still no updates cannot speak to customer service, when I do hear back they tell me the same thing my skates have been sent to another warehouse bla bla bla. Will never order from this sight ever again!

Great customer service

Meg was very proactive in letting me know that my shipment had been delayed and even partially sent some of the order so i wouldnt be waiting ages for a restock, great customer service, deserves a pat on the back!

Avoid ordering

Order placed on 17th May for Skate gloves - not cheap at £21.99 and my 11 year old son has paid for these. I received an email on 26th May to say there had been issues with dispatch and that I would hear shortly. Nothing more, despite a few emails to them with no replies. Let us know what is going on Skatehut, this is terrible customer service and very frustrating.

I eventually heard from Meg at Skate Hut this morning. She tells me there are delays from suppliers and still has no idea of a delivery date. She offered to cancel the order and a full refund or a £5 gesture of goodwill. I've cancelled it but at least I now have a response. Still disappointed to have taken so long for any response. I would avoid ordering from them at the moment

Warning DO NOT MAKE ORDERS FROM SKATEHUTMade an order on 22nd May Delivery fue…

Made an order on 22nd May Delivery fue 29th 30th only still waiting for any dispatch or confirmation that order has been sent with tracking emailed the company twice still no response all telephone contact numbers are just for show and zendesk give you a ticket for your email that they state a rely within 72 hours this is a lie. At this point I assume they don't intend to send our order and keep the money we have paid.i suggest contacting your bank for a refund from this company as there is no correspondence from them whatsoever alternativley a warning not to purchase items from them in the first instance

Gave up and had to raise a fraud complaint through the bank I paid with to get a refund.
Suspect major problems behind the scenes.
Would not recommend risking any money here
