I had a lovely lady named Monique who was very considerate and listened to what I was saying and she made it easy to talk to her which was very important when discussing previous childhood trauma. Overall covered all questions and explained everything amazingly well, would recommend xx

I was so surprised with how quickly i had contacted from Skylight once referred, forms were easy to do and followed instructions. Appointment then came quickly.
Ive had daily struggles my whole life wnd my daughter has just been diagnosed with adhd combined so i wanted to get myself checked to understand better and as i suspected i have now also been diagnosed with adhd combined and apparently its a quick turnaround time for a report and then on waiting list for medication.
For someone like me who has had daily struggles and always wondered why i am the way i am, this process has been so straightforward and easy.

The practitioner Jordana was really lovely, i felt she listened to me, understood and the whole appointment went will.

Things like this can be very nerve wracking but i assure you its not as bad as u think and now i can try and move forward understanding myself more and focusing on what will help me now living with my new diagnosis and understanding this.

I used right to choose and chose Skylight psychiatry,and so glad I did , the assessment itself was very straightforward, I was so nervous and Debbie was reassuring and also very easy to talk to. Thank you to Skylight for such a fantastic service.

As an ADHD (no surprise) and apparently autistic person (that's still sinking in) I initially found the process difficult and needed GP practice support to fill out the forms (I mean form filling is a test in itself for ADHD) but SP proved helpful and responsive on the phone and email and gave me the time and reminders to get them all in, helped me to understand some of the forms etc. But the icing on the cake was the assessment by Stephen W, he was empathic, understanding, calming, and set me at ease within minutes. The advice, insight, light bulb moments, and neurodiverse life management tips I got from the assessment alone was worth the process.

My appointment came through much quicker than I anticipated! The lady who did my assessment was lovely , put me at ease as I was very nervous and I didn’t feel really judged when I cried. She was really friendly and really professional

Very poor accessibility and lack of communication

I’m not going to lie, I’ve never had any sort of psychiatric assessment previously but Skylight and particularly Ruth put me at ease throughout the appointment. She ensured that I was first and foremost comfortable with what I wanted to share and she guided me to talk in more depth about my symptoms and what I had been experiencing. I hope all assessments would be like this one.

I have been experiencing difficulty in living and getting a good foot in for a long time.

They were very informative and efficient even with all of the detail they took and had to interpret. I was matched with psychiatrists and nurses that were able to both identify and inform me on my condition.

The best feeling I have from their service is that I no longer feel alone or isolated.

Not a cure , guidance to set you the right course.

I would recommend Skylight to anyone who has been struggling, no matter how long for. I didn't have to wait long for the assessment which I truly appreciate as struggle is real and a long wait adds stress. I myself have been diagnosed with a disorder and I can't tell you enough how my Consultant, Bernhard took such care and compassion, gently guiding me through the assessment, which of course I was nervous about. Bernhard helped to make sense out of what I have been experiencing, especially over these last years where my symptoms became worse, I never felt judged only supported with genuine care. I prayed the Consultant would be understanding and to be honest I feel he has shed a light in the fog I'm under, and now finally for the first time I realise I don't have to carry this alone, there are services.... (including and starting with Skylight that will help!!)... I'm not very trusting of people usually but I trust this service and would recommend them and Bernhard every time).
Thank you very much for all your care and support because of your service, I feel that even though I have a journey ahead of me at least I have somewhere to start from now which is everything to me 🤍🤍

Was anxious about the assessment but Eddie put me at ease and listened to my struggles . He also gave me loads of information and explained everything clearly to me. Was a very comfortable assessment so glad I got Eddie and chose skylight .

I recently completed an assessment with Skylight Psychiatry and had a very positive experience. The waiting time was not bad at all, and the process went smoothly. I particularly want to thank the psychiatrist, Stephen Wilson. He was really good and made me feel very comfortable throughout the entire session. I highly recommend their service.

My microphone wasn’t working with the software they used for the video call so I had to use my phone. The phone signal kept cutting out so I couldn’t hear the person at times. I also couldn’t understand their accent. Also the person wasn’t a psychiatrist and was just using a computer to check boxes.

I felt the practitioner CJ really got to know me and asked all the right questions. I was explained the process clearly. Highly recommended

Skyline was wonderful from the first point of contact through to my assessment/diagnosis. Their communication was clear and concise. Directions were easy to follow and the wait for an appointment was much quicker than I thought it would be! Most of all, my assessor was brilliant! She was great at explaining the assessment process at the beginning of my appointment and came across as professional, sympathetic and gave me plenty of time to talk. We took the whole 1.5 hours and I never felt rushed. She explained the outcome clearly and gave me time for any further questions and next steps.

Very quick to provide me with an assessment appointment. Effectively, professionally and kindly carried out and a diagnosis on the day. Great communication from referral onwards with clear forms and instructions on how to complete. Some acknowledgment that forms have submitted correctly would be the cherry on top but given my assessment was through the nhs, I’m super impressed with the speed and professionalism. 10 weeks from seeing my gp and a referral going in to the conclusion. Excellent service.
