Worst company ever

Worst company ever. We have been forced to be with this trash company for years and they will let you down every step of the way.

Get this, biggest night in this country ever for World Cup Soccer... guess what? They let you us, neighbors, community and nation down, once again.

"INTERNET outage is down due to storms"...THERE ARE NO STORMS ANYWHERE NEAR US (seriously there are ZERO storms anywhere within 100 miles)!!!! LOL... absolutely a trash company with zero leadership, zero respect for their community...AND COUNTRY (if we could change, we would pay 5x the amount we pay them...we have been paying $100/month for last 20 years).

Never choose spectrum

After the tech came he basically told us spectrum isn’t going to pay for a new modem(spectrums modem not ours) even though that’s what’s slowing our speeds down, they just don’t care. I currently have a line down in my driveway that im not sure is live or not and spectrum is making it incredibly difficult to get this fixed. As someone who uses the internet for work I’ve had 20-30 outages in the past month and that’s not an exaggeration. Never have I seen a company care so little about their customers as spectrum. Please go with any other company as their installs of cables are shoddy and downright dangerous. Please do not give your business to this stingy billion dollar company. At least Walmart will refund you if your product is broken out the box, spectrum won’t even prorate bills when you cancel due to their inevitable bad service. This company won’t be around for very much longer if they keep treating their customers like cows they can milk rather than people to provide service to

Consumers Have No Rights

I was moving from one apartment to another and called in on the 23rd of the month. I was informed that I have to pay for the entire month because they don’t prorate their bills. Which is fine. The issue is that they cancelled my services on the 23rd even though I informed them I was leaving at the end of the month, the 30th. I work from home so I was stuck using my mobile hot spot for the entire week. I called, and the customer service said the line was cancelled and nothing they could do. If I paid for the entire month of service, provide the entire month of service.

Great service call

This was the first service call that I have needed from Spectrum. And the experience was quick, helpful, he was on time and knowledgeable and polite. I think that is a service call that is a 10 as per Spectrum's standards.

You gave us a digital receiver that…

You gave us a digital receiver that doesn’t work in our area. Your associate didn’t bother to check first. When I asked through the chat to have a technician come out and install one that does their response was we can ship it to you so now I have to go back to your store and get another one.

Our family lost Internet connection…

Our family lost Internet connection during a storm. I had the pleasure of reaching a live agent Joy.. based in Texas. Within 10 minutes we were up and running. She was kind, professional and incredibly knowledgeable. The customer service she provided was top tier. If any upper management sees this.. good help is often times difficult to aquire let alone keep. In my practice, I was always looking for excellence. To keep that level of skill requires more than recognition.. that is if you intend to keep them representing your company.$$$. Today was a very good conclusion to a frustrating situation. Thank you again Ms. Joy and Spectrum.

Mobile & Internet service representatives EXCEPTIONAL

Both the mobile service representative and TV & Internet representative were exceptiona in everyway. Professional, knowledgable, problem solvers, patient, and courteous. You won't be sorry switching to Spectrum...we are SO glad we did. Wish we would have done it sooner.

Zero stars should be chosen but you…

Zero stars should be chosen but you can’t select it. Several spectrum technicians have been to the house and still issuebisnt fixed and no contact from any supervisors on what is going on to get service back. It’s been 4 days since anyone has called or tried to fix anything. I call 800
Number and plead for someone to call and while they say they will nobody does. They could care about one customer, I spend over $4000 a year and service sucks. They end their phone calls with the phrase “ thank you for being the best part of spectrum” what a farce and if treating customers like they are crap and don’t matter is the best part of your company then what’s does that say about the rest of the company. Awful company and if you have other providers you can use run to them.

Absolutely horrible experience

Absolutely horrible experience. Spectrum has no respect for its customers' time. My technician arrived hours after the scheduled appointment, and this after having received three different versions of when to expect a technician! The chatbot is useless. This is the worst customer service I've ever experienced. Spectrum's customer service practices deserve scrutiny from consumer protection regulators. Credit where it's due: the technician who showed up was outstandingly efficient, professional, courteous, and incredibly helpful.

Low signal, internet buffering

After months/years of having issues with our internet, finally someone realized that there was a problem with the signal from the line to our home. A technician (Madrone)came out spent 3 hours at our home to verify where the problem was. He explained what needed to be done, and the following day a different crew came out and replaced our line from the pole to our home (which was an underground line). Once the line was replaced the service has been great.

The second technician that came to my…

The second technician that came to my house, really took the time to look at the issue and really research it here at the house and found that the line coming from the pole to my house was bad so he replaced it. Make sure my wireless extenders were working correctly. Did a great job.

All's well that ends well.

We'd been having issues with service for a few months so we replaced the router and modem. The equipment wasn't connecting so we called and was told there was no connection to the residence. With that, we scheduled a svc call for the next day. When the tech arrived, he found that what we were told, was not the case after all, but he was able to fix the problem. So, all ended well.

Great High speed Fiber

I am amazed that Spectrum ran fiber to an area with no more current customers than there are in my area. Then they invited me to join, and had me set up with complete installation in about a week. VERY PLEASED!

Rock-solid internet service

Rock-solid internet service for over two decades with Spectrum. Any issues we've had were addressed in a friendly and professional way, typically resolved in 24 hours or less. The technicians are very knowledgeable and go above and beyond to future proof reliable service.
