Fantastic service from start to finish. Was easy ordering and my daughter's prom dress arrived on time, with exact measurements & was fantastic quality. Highly recommend

Extremely disappointed with both the quality of the dress and the customer service. After just one proper wear, the boning pushed through the fabric, making the dress faulty. A dress costing over £110 should not fail after a single use.

Despite providing photos and explaining that the dress had only been tried on before the event, Stacees repeatedly dismissed my complaint because I ordered the dress months in advance for a wedding. Buying a special occasion dress in advance is completely normal and has nothing to do with a manufacturing fault that only became apparent after the first wear.

Instead of offering a fair resolution, I was offered just £15 and a discount code for a future purchase. I am still having to fight for a reasonable refund for a dress that was clearly not of satisfactory quality. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this company.

Very disappointing. I didn’t love the quality or fit of the dress and want to return for a refund. I had thought they were a reputable UK company as it appeared that Google had good reviews - but I don’t think it they are Google reviews - I think it’s their own website reviews that display on the search engine. The trust pilot rating looks far more accurate. They made me jump through hoops for days regarding the return; pictures, explanations. Then offered me 20 pound for tailoring? In London you can’t even get a hem taken up for less than 30 - this would need extensive altering - probably over £100 and I don’t even like the dress. The skirt looks like a bin liner. I really thought this would be like JJs - it’s nothing like them at all. JJs house is fantastic. Now awaiting yet another email regarding the returns but I bet they’ll give me a Chinese return address, I’m sick of these companies masquerading as serving the UK market properly and selling dresses for over 100 quid. Avoid. £130 dress that looks cheap and fits terribly with diabolical returns process and infuriating customer service.

My son got married in Cape Town on March 2026, and I realised in January 2026 that the dress that I was supposed to wear for the wedding was no longer suitable. I literally panicked and went online to try and find another solution. I came across Stacees website and looked through their outfits. On the spur of the moment I ordered a lovely turquoise dress that just came above the knees and without even giving it a second thought sent in my measurements. Within 24hrs I received the first correspondence from their customer service team via WhatsApp introducing herself and letting me know that the dress was already in production. My mind was immediately put at ease, and the whole process was as simple as that. My dress arrived in the UK 3 weeks later and was absolutely STUNNING. The dress surpassed my expectations and was really good value for money!
I received so many compliments when wearing the dress and felt lovely on the day my son married the love of his life. I can HIGHLY recommend this company THANK YOU Stacees. I will be back for my Next son's wedding. A*******

I ordered a dress and it did not fit. I asked to return and they said it was a 14 day return policy, which is ridiculous compared to most places that give a 30 day. I received the dress on July 20th and did a return on Aug. 3. Now I am out $136.00. They could have at least gave me credit for another dress or let me return for a different size. Just not good business at all! I will NEVER order from them again. They lost someone that would have been a good customer.

I genuinely regret purchasing from Stacees.

I purchased a standard-size dress because their website indicated it was eligible for return. Instead of honoring a straightforward return, I spent weeks negotiating through email.

They initially offered me $30 to keep the dress, then increased it to $60, $65, and finally $75. They also introduced a 30% “fabric/material fee” for returns, but I could not find anywhere in their published return policy where this deduction was disclosed. Every time I questioned it, the explanation seemed to change.

I eventually accepted the $75 refund simply because I was exhausted by the back and forth.

If you’re ordering from Stacees, do not assume you can easily return a standard-size dress. Read the return policy carefully and be prepared for a lengthy negotiation if you request a refund.

I will never order from this company again.

Loved my wedding dress as did everyone else. It arrived sooner than I expected which was great! I didn’t receive an order confirmation straight away but I emailed in and got a response the next day which put me at ease. I had the opportunity to adjust the measurements which I didn’t need to! So worked out great. Really pleased and love love the dress!

I would give this a less one star if I could. Since receiving the dress on the 31st July I have made repeated attempts to get a returns label after initiating the returns process.the customer service has been atrocious after 4 attempts I am still awaiting a returns label to return this dress that isn’t the colour as described and also is of shoddy quality. This website do so by PayPal to help cover you for any issues such as this. If I would say anything don’t buy from here. They keep u talking for days on email hoping u want to keep the dress when all you want to do is return. I’ve been trying to return a dress and all ive been offered is partial refund of £15 when I spent over £100!!

I would definitely order from this site again. Dress was absolutely gorgeous. Communication from the company was spot-on. The material and the dresses itself was absolutely stunning. Couldn’t find any better for my bridesmaids for my special day.

Dresses from China, poor quality and will not refund like the website advertises. My daughter has been emailing for over a month to return a poor quality dress. They put a comment in response to bad reviews to contact them but still have not resolved this. Disgusting customer service and very slow, we do not want a partial refund or to pay huge return costs.
It looks like lots of people having problems.
Please respond to emails more promptly and stop offering partial refunds.

Beautiful dress, true to the images and true to size, I heard that some deliveries take longer than expected but I had no problem and it arrived on the promised date. Definitely recommend.

If you are lucky enough to find your dream dress, perfect colour and fit, first time round, then you will not be disappointed.
However, if you like to buy a few options, or even buy a dress to try, or just generally get a dress that does not fit etc, REFUNDS are an absolute joke!!!
The website states your can get a refund with 14 days of recieving the product. However the process is ridiculous, having to make a 'ticket' then waiting for a reply. They reply about one time per 24hours. Only to offer u a partial refund. This company relies on people being lazy and naive to bully people into keeping a dress that is in unsuitable for their needs! Complete scam, avoid, it's not worth the risk!

Good quality made to perfection absolutely beautiful dress

Horrible experience, ordered a dress £200, when it arrived, I didn’t like the quality, incorrect sizing.
I start the return process, difficult as many of the other reviews state, they offered me £50 refund and keep the dress as returns to China are expensive and I would have to pay.

Please avoid this site, you are better off buy a dress from a UK store in the high street, you’ll get a better experience and quality plus a way easier return policy

It looks like a UK based website and can lead you to believe you’re buying a tailor made dress from the UK It’s actually a company based in China that sent me the tackiest, most shoddily made dresses that I’ve ever seen.

I asked for a refund immediately and here started the offer of a small refund and keep the dresses. This then escalated to an offer of a partial refund & in their words, ‘it would take a long time to get a full refund because of the return process…’

I did send the dresses back to the China based address and sent them my tracking information. This was the end of May. My parcel has been sat in China customs pending delivery since then.

I believe Stacees ignore requests to collect the parcel or pay the appropriate duty which would then mean they never receive my parcel… hence I never receive a refund.

I escalated the complaint to PayPal & after a long wait, finally got my money back.

Stacees advised me to close my PayPal dispute… I ignored their request.

I wanted a return as the dress didn't fit, but Stacees were very reluctant and using any excuse for me to keep the dress!
First i needed to send another £10 for alterations after their guesswork on measurement, then £10 refund fòr me to keep the dress andsell myself, then final offer £25. Because i insisted on the refund they told me i had to return the dress to China and pay costs and taxes. (As UK company taking measurements i thought it was local tailoring). In the end i had to agree to £40 refund and keep the dress. The dress was over £70. I would never order from them again and it was obvious they were never going to give my full refund with their excuses. I do not recommend this company.

i LOVE my dress. the customer service is amazing and the employees are super kind sending emails double checking my custom sizing and showing general interest in what my dress was being bought for. i was honestly super shocked with how quick it came but i was super happy. the dress turned up absolutely beautiful and fit me so well, it was the most beautiful dress i could bought for my prom. if youre looking for prom dresses relatively cheap and stunning with custom sizing - this is the best website!

Fantastic experience ordering from Stacees. My daughter chose style S8272P in Emerald Green and we opted for the custom sizing option as she is very petite but has a fuller bust and hips. We were kept very well informed as the dress moved through the production stages and the dress arrived earlier than the estimated date. It was so beautifully made. The quality of the dress was fantastic and it fit absolutely perfect.

Firstly the customer service is amazing!! I was emailed to verify my measurements were correct so the dress would be perfect (very helpful) The dress itself 🤩🤩 stunning. My daughter received so many compliments. I think the prices are fair I would recommend Stacees and I definitely would order again.
