Brilliant Customer Service!

I bought a gaming wheel and pedals from Stuff-uk in January 2016. The pedals developed a minor problem in April 2017. I reported it to their customer service department and, good grief, did I receive customer service!

The defective pedals were picked up promptly, even after I had messed Stuff around a little, circumstances beyond my control, but for which they absolutely could not be blamed. The replacements arrived exactly when they said they would, and that was very quickly indeed.

When we come across so many customer service departments which seem more like 'customer fob-off departments' it is truly a delight to find one which operates cheerfully and efficiently; one run by decent, dedicate human beings. Superb.

Intuative, Huge Range, Fantasic Service and Delivered Perfectly

I constantly contact Stuff-UK for everything office, electrical and even the weird and the wonderful! They are all extremely helpful and always happy to do all the work for me. I really appreciate the service they provide. My most recent order included a multitude of small items, however, I could clearly tell that the items were meticulously packed with the utmost care. All the items were in stock, and extremely competetively priced. I couldn't be happier with the service I received, and would highly recommend Stuff-UK to any and all.

Brilliant Retailer!

I would absolutely recommend this company. I did read a few bad reviews but like every company, sometimes things don't go to plan every time. After buying from them though I can say they were brilliant with the order and when I got in touch with them they were very quick at replying by email compared to some of the larger companies.

My order wasn't picked and packed by them, it was dispatched from a supplier which I assume they have arrangements with. Parcel came quicker than there 2-3 day time, it was here the next day.

Customer support was really good, very helpful and they confirmed that my order was in stock. Overall I am very happy with the dealing with Stuff UK and will be shopping with them again in the future.

Many of there products are cheaper than their rivals which is what made me choose them. Don't be put off by the bad reviews or the fact you may of never heard of them. They are a smaller company who are a pleasure to deal with.

Out of stock, out of time, out of my hair!

My business relies on online orders because we are rurally based. We also are a family run business, so we don't have money to splurge. So in ordering an SSD for our office, I thought I could get one of the better end offers on a lower price. Well, buyer beware. I waited for this item to be confirmed for delivery only to be told it was out of stock, when the website clearly stated it was in stock. The employee of "Stuff", told me the delivery then was delayed for a few weeks whilst they were waiting for a back order from the company supplying the SSD, so I gave them the benefit of the doubt and said I would wait if guaranteed I would receive the product I had ordered (As I had then begun to sift through the reviews of this company). Google certified shop my *rse, they obviously have gone through this process to con-sumers into thinking they are protected in any way from the appalling service. I was sent an email saying that there had been a delay, and that my product was not available until about twelve days later. I just wrote outright that I wanted a refund and would rather pay more for a guarantee of receiving what I had paid for , they granted me that. I then ordered the item, at a slightly higher price from a business who delivered prompt with good communication from the very start. I have now read so many poor reviews of this company, the good reviews only seem to be for such things as stationary and such, obvious stock they always have at hand. Talk to them first, don't just order!

Return not accepted when item is "unfit for purpose"

To make this clear: it is legal for them to NOT accept the return of an item that has been used. But there are lots of online sellers with very liberal rules as to what is considered "used", including Amazon.
In my case the item isn't working with my setup. I did plug the item in once, saw that it's not fitting my purpose and tried to get it refunded. According to the Consumer Contracts Regulations the merchant can decide to make a partial refund if the use of the product has decreased the item's value. However apparently Stuff-UK decided the value of the device has decreased by 100%
Now I'm not blaming them for not following the law, it is up to them to decide whether or not to refund in this case and if they refund how much so. But as far as goodwill goes I think this displays a lack of it.
Personally will avoid it and would recommend the same to everyone else. Shop on Amazon, folks.

Avoid!!!

I ordered a printer from this company because they offer international delivery (NOT free of charge). The next working day I have contacted them,to make sure they received the order.I got to speak with an employee, who asked me a few extra security questions to process the order. He mentioned that the delivery charge might go up with a few pounds (from 15.64+ VAT to 20.0+VAT).I accepted as makes not much a difference.
Minutes later I received an e-mail saying they canceled my order because "The price was a UK only promotion" and the manager blocked the shipping. Before ordering I have compared several offers and this was not even the cheapest, but I choose them,as only they offered international delivery. They also have a detailed list of countries, where they do deliver, with specific price for each destination.
As long as the price was not even the lowest on the market and they offer international delivery for their products, I see no reason they have canceled my order. I will avoid this company, and spend my money elsewhere, there are many serious competitors out there who will honor their orders and not randomly cancel them

Fujitsu AH512 batteries ....... (2-power CBI3390A)

Both myself and my partner needed new batteries for our AH512 laptops
after a lot of searching and cross referencing I managed to find a quality
after-market battery ( 2-power CBI3390A ) also fits A532 / AH532 for a fraction of the price that Duracell UK sell it for....... saving about £15.00
on each battery after postage..... The batteries where delivered in a few days and have performed flawlessly. With so many sellers around selling Mickey Mouse batteries that only come with a lunchtime guarantee all I can say is Thank you for Stuff-uk.net . Keep up the good work!

Stuff UK to the rescue

After a home move I lost my Sony power lead for the TV. I searched the web and eventually got in contact with Sony direct who gave me the ID number of the part I needed. I contacted their official parts supply, Stuff UK and promptly order my part.

I arranged for next day delivery with the Stuff UK staff and they could not have been more polite and helpful. The following day, special delivery and the part arrived. What a happy chappie I was ... for 10 seconds. The wrong part had been sent, a European plug not good old UK. So back on the phone to the Stuff Uk team.

They checked back on the order, correct item number for the part I received but Sony had given me the wrong ID number - Stuff UK said leave it with them, they checked arranged for the correct part to be sent. Today, day 3 after the order the correct power supply lead arrived and bingo all works and job done.

The Stuff Uk team dealt with the issue quickly and efficiently and rarely have I been so so pleased with the Customer Service levels I received. Thanks guys, true professionals.

bad experience

Sellers should have the item in stock/hand when they advertise them. I have not received any information/email about my order delivery. So.. After 3 days (without any email about stock problem) I asked them why, whats going on. They proposed me to wait 2 weeks for my item. Decided to cancel my order. They apologized. Waiting for my refund.

Your order was placed on Saturday 29 May. There was no stock showing on the website and you would have had to click through a dialogue informing you of this. That weekend was a Bank Holiday, you contacted us on the 1st at 1pm, we informed you of the lead time shortly afterwards and you chose to cancel your order at 5:27. A refund was posted to your payment method shortly afterwards. Sorry but we do try our best to inform people when product are out of stock, but sometimes the dialogue contents are overlooked. We have however offered you a free delivery should you wish to purchase something that is in stock.

Misleading Stock & Distrustful Service

Let me start by saying that I rarely leave reviews, even when I have a negative experience with a store. I'm generally of the belief that you live and learn and I try not to get too emotional when things go wrong, because I know a million and one things can happen that affect even the most reliable of traders.

With that said, I was left particularly annoyed with Stuff UK, because they were very misleading about the stock they had in their warehouse. I had a very specific time-frame for when I needed the item and I contacted them via their live web-chat function beforehand to confirm whether they had the item in stock and whether they could fulfil it for the day I needed it. I actually repeated this simple request twice and both times the customer service person assured me it would be delivered. It even showed the inventory count on their website, listing 16 units in stock and ready to ship. My money was taken up-front and I put my faith that they would deliver on their promises.

Needless to say, it didn't happen. When I spoke to them after the weekend (and failed delivery) they told me that they could not find my order in their warehouse and that it would be another 2 weeks before they could deliver it! When I pressed further and asked them why they said they promised me they would be able to deliver the item on the day I needed it, they had the cheek to say that they fulfilled other customers orders for the same product, but didn't ship mine! What the hell?! Either they had the item in stock and delivered it to everyone who ordered, or they didn't. I was essentially left with massive distrust, and they're either intentionally lying, or they need to seriously work on their communication between sales and dispatch. At the absolute minimum, they should have contacted me to explain what happened. As it stands, I was left scrambling to find a replacement from another store at zero notice.

Anyway, I'm rating it two stars because despite this unacceptable service, they were at least prompt with refunding me for the purchase. They offered free next day delivery on my next order with them, but let's be honest guys, the chances of me using your service again after this are very slim indeed.

Yes we did mess your order up, however nobody lied to you, nobody attempted to deceive you. As explained to you we have nothing to gain by misleading you. The only way we gain is by shipping your order as promised. The order was taken in good faith and sent to the warehouse for shipping. However an inventory error meant that the order could not be shipped. This is purely down to human error. Yes we make mistakes and even admit to doing so. This came to light after our sales staff had left on Friday and you were due to be notified on Monday morning, however you had already contacted us and been refunded by 10:30 am. Unfortunately yours was one of the small percentage of orders that go wrong for which we wholeheartedly apologise.

Delivery expedited by customer service at no extra charge

During the summer heat wave the prices of fans went up from private sellers to double and then triple rates as mainstream retailers ran out of stock. However, I found Stuff-uk still selling the fan I wanted for the cheapest price I could find on the net.

I asked customer support whether the fan was UK stock with a UK plug and he confirmed that it was and that if I ordered today with the three day delivery option that it would arrive tomorrow. However, I foolishly placed my order with the five working day option just to save a few quid.

I contacted support again to find out when it was likely to arrive and he confirmed it should be with me on or before Monday; today was Tuesday. I said it would be ideal if it could arrive this week and he said, "I'll see what I can do". It arrived the next day with a UK plug. Needless to say, I would recommend, even though I do not expect everyone to be this fortunate!

However there were a couple of small things I wasn't completely satisfied with: the product was not shipped in an outer container so the delivery note was attached directly to the product packaging, meaning removing all the delivery marks would require damaging the product box which I like to keep. Also the returns policy did not seem very accommodating, in case I had experienced any problems with the product, it seemed the return would be made at my expense; fortunately I had no reason to pursue a return.

I was looking all over online for the Sabertooth FX990 Motherboard, and nowhere had it until I came across Stuff UK. I rang them to confirm they had it in stock and they were very friendly and helpful and informed me it was, and the person said 'if I ordered that day it would be with me tomorrow'. I ordered it Standard Delivery that afternoon and lo and behold next day it came! Couldn't believe it. Perfect product, quick delivery and great sales team, 5 star company!
