I booked an appointment on blood test…
I booked an appointment on blood test through my GP link. After two weeks I went to the hospital in another part of London. And it was impossible to make it, because this place was not for GP recommendation's!
My gp didn’t tell me about only three hospitals in the list of possibilities…
I lost a lot of times with this cite, how it possible, to make an appointment in wrong place?!
What a useless piece of software
What a useless piece of software. Please shoot the developers. Captcha check just locking.
Why does this not operate a fair cancellation system?
Why does this not operate a cancellation system whereby people who have waited longest (and presumably the blood test is more pressing for) can get notified of a possible earlier slot with a short window to accept or decline? Earliest dates are two weeks away - that is as may be - but as far as I can work out, your only chance is to keep on trying to reschedule to have a look back to see if someone releases one earlier in the queue and while you are doing that, your date is being released! What a stupid and thoughtless system, with the end user being shut out. That only means that someone coming later to the system has a chance of the odd cancellation coming up and you, who have waited longer, miss out. Why isn’t there a cancellation queue, where the people who have been waiting longest and who are happy to take a cancellation and sign up to get notified about them get notification first?
Impossible to book a blood test through…
Impossible to book a blood test through this website - exactly as others have stated - password incorrect - change password and used different browsers 3 times - same problem - incorrect password - Ended up phoning for an appointment - only 18th in queue - booked very quickly and GUESS WHAT - as I am booking with the lady on the phone a message arrives -thanks for booking with Swiftqueue - useless!
Have booked previous blood tests via other website - Sangix and its very quick and efficient but this is extremely frustrating and an absolute waste of time !
Dreadful company. Awful website
This outfit should change their name to Slowqueue. They are appalling. I tried to book a blood test. It said my password was wrong. I changed it and then VERY CAREFULLY input the new password, checking each digit as I input them. Guess what? Wrong password. Reset again with the same result. Tried to find a phone number for Swiftqueue. Of course NO number available. They are a joke. I'd give zero stars if I could.
Receiving someone else’s appointment messages
I don’t use Swiftqueue - but for the last year I have been receiving someone else’s appointment text messages. I’ve tried for months to get this to stop but in order to contact Swiftqueue you need to have an account but my GP doesn’t use them so I can’t?! … there’s no public facing email or phone number to get in contact in their website.
I am sick of receiving text messages for someone else’s appointments in Nuneaton. I can’t even block them as the messages don’t have a number to block!
I went for my blood test today…
I went for my blood test today 31/01/24at Swiftqueue Broomfield Hosp. The phlebotomist Monica was very kind and helpful. When I arrived for my test Monica made me feel at ease and was kind, gentle, and understanding. Her actions made me feel relaxed despite the fact that I have a needle phobia and in no time it was done. Thank you, Monica!!! and that you Broomfield for employing such a Gem as Monica, she is one to keep. I recommend Monica, if you have needle phobia like myself, you wouldn't feel a thing when she draws your blood sample.
Problem with your booking system?
I've been using swiftqueue to book blood tests since November 2021 and have had no problems until recently.I've tried to book but keep getting
a message. "There are currently no times available for this clinic. Please check back soon when more times will be released" !!! There are times available and have booked through another booking platform. This problem has been going on for a week or so. I have been trying to make an appointment since the 29th of January.
Terrible Don’t Bother….
Agree, agree, agree…….
It is absolutely rubbish….don't bother!
Just getting access to this site is a nightmare!
Just getting access to this site is unnecessarily difficult and complicated - then you need a degree in computer science to use it. There will be many, many people who have given-up trying to book blood-tests etc. I managed eventually (only took me 2-hours!).
Absolutely hopeless
Absolutely hopeless, trying to book a blood test and there is a delay of at least 8 days. Before I had to use this system I could call in on the day. NO PROGRESS HERE, why has this system been set up??????
Need urgent xray but this site is useless…
I have suspected pneumonia and having problems breathing. The hospital made an urgent appointment for have an urgent x-ray unfortunately they did so using this company/website.
I have 30 years of computer and IT experience to a professional standard and am amazed that the government would put lives in the hands of such amateurs.
I have joined their website given all my details made a password which was confirmed and activated by email and yet every time I try to log in to make my appointment it refuses saying the password is wrong.
But it is the correct password!
Absolutely awful......
Absolutely awful interface that reminds you of a windows xp web page, that forces you to create yet another account with a password. As someone who has to have regular blood tests, it's gone from turning up with a short wait to be seen, to now having to wait at least a week for a appointment slot with the added stress as I don't live locally and have to drive and find somewhere to park, trying to get there for a specific time slot. Swiftqueue encapsulates what is so wrong with the nhs, restrictions and rationing.
Impossible!
First I tried to register, only to be told I already had an account, despite never having used it before. So I went through Lost Password etc. Then I had to go through a clunky unhelpful procedure to make an appointment, finally giving up and using the phone instead!
Disgusting that particularly the…
Disgusting that particularly the elderly have to be put through this ordeal to get a simple blood test! I have to have blood tests weekly due to my INR and weekly I see people, especially elderly and foreign people standing in a queue waiting for someone to help them. The NHS is having to employ people to sign people in… how can this be cost effective???
Shame on you NHS. You have gone backwards big time!!!
Shambles of a system
Shambles of a system. GP surgeries need to educate staff on the system and communicate to patients in advance. Not all hospitals accept GP referral blood tests. I had my bloods taken December 15th still no record at the GP surgery I enquired they told me to call the hospital. I called the hospital they told me I need my GP to email to request results. That was a week ago now still heard anything and nothing on My NHS app. How is this a better system? If it ain't broke leave it alone imbeciles
Unusable website can't book appointment
Very clunky website. Doesn't accept mobile numbers with a plus. You only find this out after pressing Submit. And then the website is stuck and you can't proceed, you have to start again. Then it says it's sending an activation code but it never arrives.
Web site user interface is very poor
The web site user interface is a complete nightmare that fails almost all of the W3C usability standards with no means of contacting tech support and no means of altering patient controls such as fonts, colours, contrast etc. The actual programmed workflow functionality: booking/moving/cancelling is really poorly designed and not immediately obvious, especially for anyone with sight defects or vision problems.
I was referred by my GP
I was referred by my GP, booking was easy and I was seen on time. There was no-one to see on the way in, though; the machine to check in is easy for me, but people from other cultures were sometimes at a loss as to what to do because there was no-one to explain the procedure. (St James's Health Centre, London E17.)
Is this really paid for from our taxes? It is a scam.
Really? I live cross the street from hospital but I can't figure out how to book a blood test there. I tried my address, my location, my postcode, hospital name, GP surgery name, no. I always get results which are in different town anywhere between 8-15 miles away. I can't get to make this filter give me anything in my town.
I don't know if it is just Swiftqueue or another of long list of NHS failures but people running this should be fired for incompetence.
