This software is beyond belief.

This software is beyond belief.

The data entry boxes are in a text so faint it takes two normal sighted people to read it on a decent size screen.

The 'greyed out' text is used in decent software to indicate not available - not so here. WHO checks out this stuff? No wonder the NHS is in such a bad state. Whatever idiot commissioned this software is letting down hard working people in the NHS.

This is the worst piece of technology…

This is the worst piece of technology the NHS has ever licensed. Cannot get basic filtering of clinics right in a search - I've just wasted 30 minutes trying to book a blood test in a clinic that should have take 1 minute and I'm now resorting to calling the clinic - it is not only useless but it's actually taking valuable time from these clinics that are over burdened already. It pulls in every clinic in London with lots jumbled dates and appointments. It's like tech from 1975 - absolute disgrace.

A Systems to sabotaging NHS resources

Went for blood test in the Florence Nightingale Community Hospital, London Road, Derby, DE1 2QY and see that 8 technicians are waiting and only 2 person are there. If you look through the system no appointments available within next 4 days but the technicians have nothing to do and I know people are waiting to provide their blood sample. Same situation while visiting Royal Derby Hospital. It was much better when you can just walk in and you blood samples are taken. The whole bureaucracy and giving a third
party company big bucks for underutilising the much needed NHS resources. A Systems to sabotaging NHS resources

It didn't work

I booked a blood test on "swift"que, travelled to the next town's doctors surgery with the form (not my local doctors surgery!!) only to find out I didn't have an appointment! It didn't work.

Many people are anxious and nervous…

Many people are anxious and nervous when having blood taken, thankfully I’m not at all and when I was younger I regularly donated blood and organised blood donating sessions twice a year in the building I worked in which usually was attended by around a 100 people each session. I recently booked an appointment through Swiftqueue my first time of using them and certainly my last. To make friendly conversation I said to the woman (I cannot call her a lady!) “it’s very busy here today” she abruptly replied “no it isn’t it’s very quiet there were 50 queuing up at 7 am yesterday”. She then said “I’ve called your name twice” again said abruptly, I then panicked thinking I had got my appointment time wrong, I hadn’t it was 3 mins before my appointment time when I went in - she said I should have arrived earlier than my appointment time - I apologised and said I wasn’t aware I had to arrive much earlier. Then she said in her abrupt manner again “ have you drunk any water this morning “. I replied “no” she then asked if I had drunk anything and I said yes coffee her abrupt reply was “great your veins will be collapsed and it will be difficult to get any blood”. (Just imagine if I had been nervous about having blood taken). My reply was “I have never in my whole life been told to drink water before a blood test - had I known it would make a difference I would have drunk water”. I told her that I had been a blood donor in the past and was never told to drink water.
I left the clinic feeling like angry - how can a person doing this job talk to a patient in this way. When I got home I checked the appointment confirmation email - I had got the appointment time correct and it clearly said “Please Do Not arrive anymore than 5 mins earlier than your appointment time” - I admit I hadn’t scrolled down the email to see that they advised drinking water before attending. Even so there was no need to speak to me in that manner. I have taken many people for blood tests in the last 6 years - my husband has regular blood tests and Never been told to drink water. I’m not disputing that it may be good to drink water before a blood test but I’m disgusted in the way the Swiftqueue employee spoke to me. Had she spoken to my husband in that manner he would have walked out - he doesn’t’enjoy’ having a blood test and would have been too anxious to have it taken by this person. She tried very hard to make the procedure unpleasant for me and gave me a lovely bruise - I knew what she was doing but I didn’t flinch as I did not want her to have any satisfaction. My veins popped up and blood was taken without any problem which has been the case for the last 50+ years. She didn’t deserve one star but you have to give a star!

Swiftqueue keep texting me by mistake

Swiftqueue keep texting me by mistake, attempting to contact a patient re a blood test.
I have attempted to contact Swiftqueue but I am unable. Text don't have a contact number. I feel sorry for the patient Lauren. Last chance via Trustpilot if they monitor?

Very Rapid Customer Support Responses

On Monday 7 Aug 23 I had a complex MRI at my local London hospital. As I have a pacemaker I needed an X Ray beforehand to check the wires were ok. There was an initial problem, caused I believe by my clinic, that I got scheduled for an X Ray on the wrong day and with no indication that it related to my MRI. Once the clinic had rescheduled the X Ray to Monday, I went ahead with the sequence of investigations.

My top rating of SwiftQueue is because their response to two emails explaining what went wrong, I believe by my clinic, has resulted in detailed responses within 30mins and explaining that they will work with my clinic to ensure that the clinic works with SwiftQueue correctly in future. I trust that the SwiftQueue system analysts will work well with my clinic who are a newish user of SwiftQueue.

Swiftqueue is Snailqueue

Don't bother trying to book a blood test with this CRAP, just go to your local Blood Test Centre and wait to be seen, informing nurses its totally impossible to book a 10 minute slot on this website.

Should be rename Snailqueue.com
