Returned to the same cottage we had last year in Yorkshire lovely place to stay and beautiful countryside Sheepfold Cottage spotless cosy and comfortable

The holiday property we used absolutely amazing. The website is easy to use, the information was accurate.

We received a recommendation for Sykes for our planned trip to England and were offered great accommodation options. We thoroughly enjoyed our journey through Cornwall and Devon, stayed in wonderful houses, and can highly recommend Sykes.

It was easy and quick to book with Sykes. The website is easier to navigate than some others out there and the confirmation of our booking was quick and included all the information we needed. We’ll definitely use Sykes again.

The experience with Sykes was good. Kept well informed as to when payments were needed. Helpful emails about the holiday. The only issue we had was the the back door key didn't work from the inside.

Great lady via chat. Confirmed price, assured us that existing cleaning & soft furnishing issues had been attended to.

Then using the payment link supplied the deposit changed from £10 to over £300 & overall price by £1.
No choice option to pay the fully advertised & checked against the property as applicable the £10 deposit.
I had to just pay to secure the property & price… had just been told about dynamic pricing.
I raised these issues on Messenger & after not receiving a reply later used WhatsApp. The first reply said that the property was not part of the £10 deposit & gav no detail.

At the same time I received a reply from another colleague on the other chat. Apology & escalated to find out why deposit wasn’t £10.

Very confusing. I have screen shots of all three chats & would still like an explanation as to why 2 staff say I should have been able to only pay £10 deposit & another said no.

In addition would like additional assurance tgat the property has better pillows & cleaners. Thank you.

Booked holiday house online with relatively little fuss, although finding the house on the website was not easy. Maybe I need more practice..?

Perfect location just a short walk to the beach. The place was clean, well stocked with towels and bedding and felt very comfortable. We also loved the welcome package waiting for us on arrival, a really thoughtful touch. Before we arrived, the owner sent clear and useful details about the stay, which made everything smooth and stress free. We look forward to booking again.

The booking process was simple and efficient, and the accommodation was excellent.

Booking is a very easy process and communication by email keeps you well informed. I particularly like the personel booking site showing all properties visited and status of the bookings which can be easily updated.

The booking process was reasonably easy and we were kept informed of what to pay and when. We were given detailed directions and key collection a month before we went so we felt reassured that we knew what to do.

Have booked with sykes on more than one occasions, better than most other companies, main criticism is lack of transparency during booking, if memory serves me right ,all fees to be displayed up front, was given a £60 credit if new booking was made before specified date, promised granddaughter Christmas holiday, am seeing my word, made booking applied discount, went to pay, surprise surprise £60 booking fee, buyer beware, search around before committing
