Ethan Davies and Aamanah Shahban have been amazing over the process of us buying our first home. They were helpful, always answered questions we had quickly and efficiently. Would 100% recommend.

I had a very positive experience with Talbots Law and would happily recommend them. The whole process of buying a first house was handled efficiently and professionally, and everything was completed on time, which was greatly appreciated.
Cody was my solicitor and he was beyond excellent throughout — friendly, responsive, and proactive in keeping things moving. His clear communication and willingness to chase things up made the process feel smooth and well managed, and it was a total pleasure working with Cody and Talbots Law!
Overall, a great experience with Talbots Law. I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again.

Second time we have used Talbots to buy a house. The first time was for my Son’s house and I had to guided him through the process. All went smoothly. This time it was for our move. Excellent process both times. The app where you Onboard was perfect. I would like to thank Jazmine De’Wolfe and Millicent Miller for their hard, professional work and for being friendly and kind on the occasions that we had to speak. Highly recommended.

I instructed Talbots Law Kidderminster at the beginning of June 2025 to act relating to a sale and purchase.
I paid £600 upfront.
This was a relatively straightforward case… No Chain!
I was selling to a cash buyer and I was purchasing cash.
The matter took so long, (many months) that by Autumn my buyers pulled out of the purchase, despite them paying for surveys and being extremely motivated at the start.
I am now being hounded by Talbots Law to pay abortive fees of just under £2000.
I have sent in a formal complaint, setting out my dissatisfaction with the service and I’m awaiting a response, which will depend on whether I escalate it to the Legal Ombudsman.
Despite this, I’ve just received yet another threatening email from their accounts department, threatening to add interest to the payment if I don’t settle now.
I can only advise to look elsewhere for a good Conveyancing Solicitor.
I’ve been researching online and there are much better out there who do not adopt this unethical practice!

We used Talbots Law for Sale of our house and purchase of the new house as well. As they specialise in newbuild, they had a lot of information on their database already for both plots, which reduced the time with the queries, etc. The process was smooth and the availability of solicitors was uninterrupted- all our queries were answered the same day, often within few hours, also able to reach them on the phone each time. Special thanks to Tori Richards who was guiding us through the process, as well as Ethan and Amanah. Would recommend Talbots Law to anyone selling or buying a house.

Patrick and Japjit were the solicitors who oversaw my house conveyancing. They kept me very well informed throughout the process. At all the key points in the process they were informing me of the next steps. Whilst most of contact was by email, I was pretty much always able to speak to one of them if required and had a warm approachable person on the other end. They took the stress out of the whole process.

Tori in particular was a huge help. And was always reachable with any questions we had.
Would recommend then to anyone looking for a solicitor, especially first time buyers too

Thank you Reena from the Brieley Hill branch in Dudley.
Thank you for all you support, explaining things in detail so I understand and making the process of purchasing my first home an easy, enjoyable one 😊
The only improvement I would say is if the app was updated more frequently, that would be great and saves client time requesting updates via email.
