Has gotten so bad

Use to love this site. I'd read this like others would read the news. Anytime I had 5mins I would go to this even if not actively looking to buy anything, it was that good.
A few months back, tried reading a review but the ads and pop up simply prevented me from doing so. This kept happening over and over as time passed, to the point where it now is strange if it does not happen. This is so frustrating but then it also happened that when I can get through I often find the deals advertised were not available when clicked through to seller. All in all, the experience of using this site has motivated me enough to leave this review, which I would not usually do, and recommend others look for alternatives as I am now doing.

Better deals than offered by 3 itself!

So right now it's the middle of the January sales and my contract with 3 is coming to an end. I go looking for reviews on the OnePlus 7t Pro and find one on Tech Radar that tells me everything I know and has some direct links to deals at the bottom of the page. The deal I liked the look of was unlimited data, texts and minutes for £40 per month. I then called up 3 to see if they can match it beat is as it's there deal and I have already been with them for two years BUT after speaking with her manager the lady at the other end says they're only able to offer it at £56 per month and that they cant match the discount as its £300+ over two years.

So yeah, I cancelled my contract and then ordered a new one through Tech Radar. Now the thing I hope you can take away from this is that Tech Radar draws huge amounts of traffic and as such is able to offer deals that are significantly better than the networks will offer you themselves. Maybe there are other good sites too but I couldn't find a better one and I really looked. So you won be over Tech Radar, I'm very impressed!

This site is trash

This site is trash. Idk if their info is good or not but as soon as I got onto their site after they forced me to unblock ads, like immediate it starts using like 40% of my CPU like crazy. and usually Chrome only uses like 0.4 % with like 20 tabs opened up. It's pretty crazy. I'm pretty sure this site does bitcoin mining on your computer or some weird thing.

Maximum ads all over screen

Maximum ads and junk all over the screen. Who cares what the content is at that point, with so much crap popping up all over the screen. Tech Radar is a freakin' joke. Don't waste your time here, there are other much better alternatives. Content is not exclusive. Ad-hungry posting is all they do well.

Most annoying tech site I've ever visited.

So glad there was a site for this awful page. When I enter the page, it comes with THREE pop-ups at various times. First, a fully page-covering "allow cookies" request. Annoying enough in itself.
Then comes a "PLEASE UNBLOCK US" ad message.
THEN, "joing our frickin' mailing list!!11one". I close the page and will never return.

Add to that the annoying request to "allow notifications". No, I will never allow that on any site.

I used to love this site for tech information but now it is unreadable.
There are that many pop ups the articles are jumping about all over the screen until it crashes and the screen reloads.
A tech site that lets this happen!!???

Commercials destroyed the site... Stay away

I have used this site a lot in the past, but now there's annoying commercials, flash videos and whatnot. This site has now become so commercialised, that it is utterly useless. Whomever coded the site had one/two things in mind... Greed and lure :(

iPhone is the best for gaming

1 star—the info they give in their reviews is very questionable.

Just put in Google: “best gaming smartphone 2019”. Spits out their list, where iPhone XS is the first.

iPhones are the best gaming phones? Hahahaha, I would imagine next article, “top 10 best gaming laptops”: #1 is MacBook Pro.

It feels like some companies payed just a bit of evergreens to push forward stuff they make. Maybe it’s just my personal feeling.
