biggest scammer
biggest scammer ! had the owrst kind of experience with them in every possible way. Just shit! at first i got scammed into using telia from another operator due to their misinformation, then, got ridiculus amount of invoices, and then, sim stopping working multiple times, as i went to replace in physical shop, they told me, may be the sim was old ! why, all of their sim is old? then, suddnely the sims stop working randomly and then have to restart the phone again ! customer care is bullshit ! now, i want to change this operator and facing problems again. Agh !

Low full speed quota for top level subscription • F-Secure as Telia Trygg
Telia provides a too low full speed quota for top level subscription. For a while, I have been using Telia X Max Pluss currently priced at NOK 749 and its predecessors. As for my needs, the subscription fits perfectly with several sims/esims and a good data quota in the EU sphere included. But, the 100 GB full speed quota has not followed market trends – has been freezed for years. So, your choice will be 3 Mb/s or chipping in another NOK 300 to reset the 100 GB quota - not favorably priced for top level users.
All in all my experience of Telia network coverage is good. To be available in one far away and up valley in Western Norway, I have setup my phone with a cash card from Telenor. But, I find this Telia flaw acceptable.
Overall I rarely need any customer service assistance, but when I do, my experiences have been on the positive side.
Also, the top level Telia subscription includes a security service called Telia Trygg (Telia Safe). This is actually the/a F-Secure service presented as a Telia service. This creates a common gap between the identities of two service providers; that is, the experience is presented as from Telia but is not.
The Telia Trygg F-Secure service has a lot of opportunities included measures to secure your devices. Such measures usually includes installations and adjustments of settings. With such follows always the a risk of blocking the wrong stuff and getting icons floating around on your page. Still, I am not negative to this and it is mostly good for most users, but users have to be aware of this as a potential source to errors.
One annoying thing is that Telia all by a sudden unwillingly and maybe unaware finds it self as sender of "your password / username has been leaked - please change promptly". The Telia Trygg F-Secure service has got my heart beating faster four times the last months – a double set of emails concerning a break in at 123RF in 2020 that I dealt with then. So, I do not appreciate having these false warnings. Another thing is that Telia-F-Secure tells about deeper tefts and combination of teft info that is available in the so called dark net - without a button to fix it. So, you will have to sit and consider the danger yourself and have probably no tools for fixing. Most (or all) of these messages are available for free at the Have I been pawned web page
Telia is the winner of Rotten tomato 2026
yesterday after 5 months holiday I arrived in Norway automatically switch on my telia sim card and I could not even check my balance,I did not received any sms from dnb or Norsk tipping or any other authorities where I was registered by my mobile number, but the biggest shock was yet to come after I go to talk to the blonde Telia C,she said maybe we have to change you a new sim and she did also assured me my mobile number stays the same,(in this moment she just dropped my old sim in the bin,)after I said but I would need the pin & puk from my old sim she confirmed but then she said someone has drained the bin as she can not find it any more and now I can`t even log myself into my telia account, are they here all fallen to rotten tomatoes? WTF is going on in Norway are the AI took off first the brain of those F students??
Repetitive breaks in internet…
Repetitive breaks in internet connection in Nesodden Norway. Often at peak times every week. No offer of alternatives. Should be capable of providing back up with mobile broadband which is excellent in area.
Worst ISP product and service I have…
Worst ISP product and service I have ever experienced and continues to disappoint. Due to my home location there are no other land line connections available so my only alternative is to find a wireless or satellite service which then do not offer the same access speed and also had a significant higher cost. On a guesstimate here now I would say we loose our connection for several hours at a time several days per year with no refund or compensation offered nor alternative services available. If cable from Telia is something your ate considering I would recommend you try to find another company.
Excellent experience across business and private services
I’ve had a consistently great experience with Telia across both business and private services.
From mobile business plans to private mobile usage, everything has worked reliably and without friction.
Adding home Wi-Fi/router services in-store and returning equipment was also completely seamless. The process was straightforward, and everything just worked as expected.
Both in-store staff and phone support have been consistently helpful, professional, and efficient.
Overall, a very smooth and reliable experience with strong customer support and well-functioning processes.
Absolutely ridiculous
Absolutely ridiculous, I was told my account was frozen cause i am going traveling for months. And to keep my account, the best way they told me was to "Froze" my account instead of canceling it. OH, NOW AFTER MONTHS being out, I suddenly found out I owe them so much cuz appeartly it was not cancelled! After triple-checking with the store before I left Norway, that it would stop billing me while I am traveling. This is what I got...
2 months free? Joke.....
I signed up for Telia Norge because the promotion clearly promised 2 months of free internet. I received the equipment on March 30 and connected it on March 31.
Despite this, I have now received an invoice for May, which apparently means that even one single day at the very end of March is being counted as a full month. That is absurd and completely misleading. No reasonable customer would understand “2 free months” to mean that one day counts as an entire month.
I contacted customer service, expecting them to correct this obvious mistake. Instead, I was offered 50% off for May as some kind of “solution.” That is not a solution at all. It is simply an attempt to soften the problem instead of honoring the promotion as advertised.
This is not transparent, not fair, and not what was promised when I signed up. A company should stand by its offers instead of hiding behind questionable billing practices and then pretending a half discount is good customer service. Very disappointing experience.
Check your invoices!
Warning: Check your invoices. After nine years of loyalty, Telia’s new billing system is a total wreck.
Even after I switched providers, they continued to send threatening invoices, only for me to discover, after fighting through their terrible customer service, that they actually owe me a refund. Their strategy seems to be banking on customer ignorance. Don't fall for it!!
wifi goes down randomly and it says on…
wifi goes down randomly and it says on their website that is no issue.
Steer away. Bad experience in every way
First they get you in with a reasonable price, later they start increasing it. They do whatever they want with invoices! They make you pay double, 20%, 30% more, and when you go to their physical stores they say they cant help with anything regarding invoices. "Call the customer support" they say which suks big ash. Telia website is designed in a way to frustrate you. Steer away from them.
No internet for 5 days?! No service, no help, no care
Lost our internet and was told we will not get it back before Wednesday (Its SATURDAY NOW), has been 25 hours so far. And when you call them, they are being rude and pretend like this is normal and is going to happen sooner than later and denying peoples problems. Everyone where i live that has Telia does not have any wifi right now. This is frustrating since this isnt the first time either but usually lasts for one day, not half a week. But absolutely no other providers are having issues in our area and Telia is too lazy to come and fix their own problem.
I used Telia for about two years
I used Telia for about two years, but when I wanted to cancel the contract, I called, they told me that they would cancel, and now for the second day there has been no change, why are customer requests not being fulfilled after the company openly supplied it?
Do not use Telia - Bad Service and Poor Deal
Do not use Telia! Very bad service and not the best deal. They will go broke.
FIRST, try Telenor - ask for a comparable, better deal.
I just now (14:00 Tues 3 Feb, 2026) rang TELIA to ask questions about my invoice. The deal had originally been very competitive. Then it gradually changed, and became subtely more expensive.
The operator/consultant was very fast to throw the blame (rather than explain). He was not in any way thoughtful or customer concerned in his telephone manner, instead he was offended and confrontational. Not polite and not positive as one might hope.
Telia recently have changed the way they invoice. Customers now pay a month in advance. My invoice doubled in December (Merry Christmas!!!) In 2 months they managed to extract 10,000 kroner from me. The total invoice is normally (supposed to be) 2000 per month.
I mentioned to the Telia consultant that I have now consulted with their competitor, Telenor.
Telenor have offered 1810 kroner per month, non-binding. Unlike Telia, the TELENOR consultant was polite, positive and customer oriented.
The best Telia could offer was 1950 kroner ( with less fringe extras). Hence, there's no question. I have gone back to Telenor. Telia can keep the money they have taken without proper explanation over the past 8 months. Short term profit! I suspect Telia will soon go broke!
Internet connection being continuously…
Internet connection being continuously shut down for days. This month it’s the 4th day without it working. Practically non existent customer service. Horrible experience every time.
Internett shuts down randomly and goes…
Internet shuts down randomly and goes back on again after 1min.
It has been like this for 1 year and contacting customer support is harder then finding job.
Summed up bad service, reliability and the company itself values customers poorly
Customer service
I need help with my SIM card.
I've been calling for three days in a row. Every day for over an hour and a half. Absolutely no response.
I call the store, and they are completely arrogant, saying that it's not their problem that I, as a customer, would have to travel over 500 km in person to the branch and that their customer service is available 24/7 to answer my questions within 10 minutes at most.
Terrible company.
If I could, I would give it 0 stars.
I have been with Telia for three years…
I have been with Telia for three years now, but yesterday and today I have waited combined 3 hours for somebody to pick up the line and explain why my mobile data is not working. I am tired of waiting, switching to new provider as fast as possible.
This month got email i will get charged x2…
This month got email i will get charged double i already pay over 2.5k amonth for 2 mobiles and 2 sim cards with 10gb on. Thats 5k kr as they want to switch to 1 month advance payment. They chose this month for everyone because half tax of some sort so they know people can pay it. Bad service changing on contract end.
