I referred my daughter to buy Tesla

I referred my daughter to buy Tesla. It has been over 2 months Tesla has been rescheduling deliver more than three times. They kept on messaging that we are having difficulties in finance department. She took three times day off in order to collect the car. Right atvthe last minute they change the delivery date without even bothering phoning us. I would definitely not recommend Tesla due to their poor customer service. Overall the car is great but not worth waiting for that long. I would rather pay APR than not paying.

Do not go to Anaheim Hills CA Tesla service center

After owning teslas, safe to say I'll never buy one again. I've received such poor service at Anaheim Hills Service center. I've been working with them on a buy back, and have received the worst communication with a "Sr" service advisor named Steven Sandoval, who doesn't know how to reply to an email or return a call. Terrible experience working with him throughout this buy back process. Biggest mistake was going to that service center.

Appalling customer service

Try spending £50,000 to buy a car and Tesla do not appear to want your business. No way to contact anyone when things go wrong. No phone number to ring to get help. No replies to emails, or if you do get one it’s just an AI generated rubbish one that does not help.
My advice is go to a car company that wants your custom!

Don't waste your time

Don't waste your time.

Ordered my car in 9th Dec 2025, expected to be delivered on 12th Feb. This delivery date was then pushed to March, and then 2nd half of May. I ordered the car with 5 years 0% interest, and a £2k deposit contribution as advertised in the offer.

A few days before collecting the car, my finance was rejected as BlackHorse stated that Tesla delivered the car too late, and BlackHorse cannot offer me the original offer. The best Tesla could do was 5 years at 2.9% and no deposit contribution. I rejected this, and cancelled the order, as this wasn't what I signed up for; Tesla said they'll cancel and just hung up on me - no apology whatsoever.

I had paid £200 + £1800 as a deposit; Tesla said refunds take up to 21 working days. I received my £200 refund within 2 weeks. I had to chase Tesla for my £1800, and they told me that the refund was "paused" in their process and had to be restarted...meaning I have to wait up to 42 working days in total to receive my £1800 refund - I am still waiting for my own money to be returned to me.

If you want to buy a car with good customer service and no stress - this isn't the place to be; this whole transaction has just been poor since I ordered the car.

Terrible customer service worst…

Terrible customer service worst experience. Made me go to six appointments spent $1200 to have my extended warranty approved even after I had it activated and after all that they said, I will not be eligible for one. Every time I call customer service they hold me 30 minutes on the line checking and drop the call.

Tesla an opened Faucet

I bought my Model 3 in 2022, and unfortunately my experience with Tesla has been extremely disappointing. During the warranty period, I already had several issues: the front seat had to be repaired, a part on the wheels needed replacement (which I only discovered thanks to the professional who changes my tires every season), and both front lights had condensation and needed to be fixed. These were only some of the problems.

Now, four years later and with no warranty, Tesla gave me a quote of $4,500 to fix a noise and a steering issue. I decided to split the repairs and asked them to fix what they said was the priority. After the service, the car came back worse: the steering wheel does not work properly, the audio system has problems, and the FSD disconnects. When I called again, they told me these new issues were “not related” and that I would have to pay even more to fix them.

They keep saying that “all cars have issues,” but honestly, my experience with Tesla has been terrible. I was initially happy with the car, and even with the small problems during the warranty, I believed I had made a good decision. I even said once that I would never go back to another brand. But now, I am sad to say that I cannot recommend Tesla.

My Toyota Prius was much cheaper, is two years older, has more mileage, and I have never had a single issue with it. The total maintenance cost of my Prius is still lower than what I have paid in just four years for the Tesla — even after considering the difference between electricity and gas.

Do not go for Tesla. The materials feel cheap, the repairs are constant, and it becomes an open faucet draining your money. The car seems designed to generate service costs. On top of that, you wait a long time for appointments, and you never have the guarantee that the issue they identify is the real cause — because there is always something new to fix.

Tesla service

Firstly, I love my Tesla and will never buy another gas powered car.
That being said, I will never buy another Tesla again because of the total lack of customer service. They try to run this entire company with zero live human beings. Trying to get service through the Tesla app is ludicrous.
When you buy a $50,000 car you expect to be able to pick up the phone and speak to a service advisor when you have a problem.

Wolverhampton service centre

Wolverhampton service centre, ripped off with a fault in the roof, no chip and it happened parked up, put the crack in to chat gp and it confirmed it was not caused by any damage and a stress fracture, the fact I was on my drive with the car and would of seen anything hit it is besides the point, took it to them to look at and they showed the smallest mark that looked like it had been done with the smallest screwdriver in the world, I had a photo of the glass so know it wasn’t there, tried to complain and no one will deal with me,
No ho to complain to either

To Tesla Management / Customer…

To Tesla Management / Customer Relations Team,

I am writing to express my extreme disappointment with my recent leasing experience at Tesla, which I would rate 1 star.

On, I placed a $250 non-refundable order deposit and selected a specific vehicle for lease through your website/app. The terms presented were clear at that time.[Date]

However, after proceeding with the application in the Tesla app, I was asked to pay a down payment 3 times higher than what was originally quoted during the initial selection process. This change was not disclosed upfront and only appeared after my $250 deposit was already locked in as non-refundable.

This practice feels deceptive. Customers should not be baited with one payment structure, then forced into a drastically different one after Tesla has secured a non-refundable deposit. The lack of transparency left me with two bad options: accept the inflated down payment or lose my $250.

Issues I experienced:
1. Bait-and-switch pricing: Down payment tripled from the original lease estimate shown before deposit.
2. Non-refundable deposit used as leverage: The $250 fee locked me into a process where Tesla could change terms without consequence.
3. No clear disclosure in app: The final numbers only appeared after multiple steps, making it impossible to make an informed decision upfront.

As a customer, I expect honesty and transparency from a brand like Tesla. This experience has eroded my trust completely. I request a full refund of my $250 deposit due to the material change in lease terms after payment.

I am also filing this complaint with the BBB and my state’s Attorney General’s Office regarding deceptive sales practices.

trading in a tesla model 3 to tesla

tried to trade in my 2022 tesla on a 2026. initial appraisal of $17,900 appears to be a bait and switch, because you have to pay the $250 non refundable fee , before you get your actual appraisal. Mine was $4000 less, after powdercoating wheels and buffing the car to look like new. I would imagine keeping everyone's $250 deposit adds up for them.

Overall shocking experience

Overall shocking experience. We ordered our new Tesla in December and have had delay after delay, very bad communication from Tesla directly. It’s been incredible difficult to plan our life, with me being heavily pregnant. I do not recommend anyone to go with Tesla in future, if you are not willing to wait in the dark for a long long time. We have waited 6.5 months so far & it keeps getting pushed back. Mind you we were originally quoted a delivery within 12 weeks.

Tesla Dealership Deer Valley AZ.

Tesla Dealership - 21030 N 19th Ave. Phoenix, AZ 85027
This place has the worst Customer Service I have ever experienced. I placed an order and had to put down over $3,200. When it arrived, it was not the vehicle they showed me. They. suggested I look at another higher-priced. I gave it a couple of days and canceled my order altogether. There is no way to call anyone. If you message them, it goes to an AI that can't do anything. I went into the dealership and canceled my order on 5/16. Noah said I would have my money back in 3 to 5 days. When I did not have my money back by 5/23, I went back to the dealership. Noah said it would get worked out. Someone from the dealership emailed me saying I would get my money soon. This person actually reports to Noah. It is now 5/27, and I have not received my money. I guess I need to make another trip to the dealership today.
FOLLOW UP 5/27: They emailed me today, saying it hasn't been processed yet and that I should wait another 7 days. WTF
FOLLOW UP 5/28: Just another day, and I don’t have my money.
