We ordered the chocolate cake for our daughter’s 4th birthday. She has allergies to dairy, egg, soya and gluten. Delivery was really speedy with excellent communication. The cake arrived well packaged and frozen as described. It was absolutely delicious - you wouldn’t know it was free from so many allergens. The best part is it stayed lovely and moist for the two days we took to eat it! Usually we have found gf and egg free dries out really quickly. By far the best we have found and will not hesitate to order again! Would recommend to anyone - genuinely couldn’t fault it. I’ll never forget the smile on my daughter’s face having chocolate cake for the first time! Thank you!

Plastic in food and they didn't even care

I placed my first order, after browsing all the goodies available. The fast dispatch and delivery turnaround was a bonus. Unfortunately I encountered a DPD driver who couldn't follow instructions, and my delivery was stolen.
I contacted Sue straight away, and between us, it was rectified immediately. Super fast and friendly customer service from sue and her team.
My replaced order arrived this morning, very clearly labelled to be handed directly and not left anywhere! The contents..oh my..they all looked delicious 😋 , well packaged and with freeze gel packaging so all super cold and fresh. I've just had a egg custard with my cup of tea, and was definitely not disappointed. Normal size, full of flavour and pastry how I remember from my muggle days. I shall be a regular customer from now on :-)

I had my 3rd postal order this week, but I do buy Sue’s lovely treats from Waitrose whenever I am nearby.
My hubby cannot have egg or milk as well as gluten, his favourite cake is Victoria sponge.
You cannot get egg feee V/S in any super market. Or anywhere else other than from Sue, believe me I have looked and looked !
Easter weekend came & everyone was having love eggs and cakes, but not poor hubby!

So I decided I would treat him, he is having a rough time at the moment.

I know Sue’s V/S hits every time ! But I also saw some coconut and white chocolate cupcakes, I was like YES please !

Order placed. As per the usual I had an email with tracking info within a day or two and my cakes turned up in prefect condition - happy days !

The V\S sent to me was one with egg, opps! These things happen, I emailed Sue late in the evening, I had a reply by first thing in the morning with apologies & awareness / feedback welcome. A prompt replacement cake free of charge arrived today ( with a little extra Sue ! Thank you! You didn’t have to ! )

Nice product awful customer service I have had 3 products with damaged inner packaging i sent a polite email explaining this and almost got a robotic response to the actual product itself as if they hadn't even bothered to read my email. I very rarely email companies but as this was my 3rd crumble with bits of broken material from the packaging in it i thought i would ut really they couldn't care less quite honestly they have been using the same thing for over 20 years according to the email so how could this possibly be true even telling me that someone had probably dropped the products then put them back into the freezer thats how they had been broken obviously missing the point I clearly made with photos and description the outer packaging was totally undamaged as I said I'm not sure the robot even read my email
Disgusting customer service

Buyers beware. Although the company states that they package goods with care and that the extra ice added should keep items frozen during a potential 48 hour delivery time, I have received 2 orders both containing items damaged and defrosted.
Attempts to rectify this with the company resulted in a complete refusal to accept any responsibility for problems and a very accusatory tone in the response which basically suggested that by asking for a refund I was attempting to con them.
They insist that all other orders sent this week were fine and only orders sent to my address were supposedly damaged.
I even took a video of us opening the second order as there had been issues with the first. I had been prepared to accept that one order might not be perfect but was not willing to accept this for two orders.
The company not only dismissed my complaint as an attempt to scam them but also provided incorrect information about my orders. When I pointed this out, no apology was given.
I fully admit that the food is lovely, however there is a minimum order value and one would expect that an order of frozen food would be received frozen and undamaged.
To summarise, good products but absolutely dreadful customer service.

I placed an order less than 24 hours ago and was delivered today as fairly local. The man who delivered it was friendly and helpful. The range is amazing and looks absolutely delicious, deep filled pies, good size scones the muffins look amazing all with a long date, arrives frozen, so can take out to eat what you want when you want without having to worry about it going out of date. This is my first order of many more to come. It really is a coeliac’s god send, would and have happily recommend.

I have now tasted some of my purchases and they are absolutely delicious, scones are buttery, muffins sponge light and fluffy and the goats cheese and red onion tart is amazing.

As a northerner with a gluten intolerance, getting delicious steak puddings delivered to Devon is the absolute highlight of my year. They where really well packaged.
