We're really sorry to hear you were disappointed with your order. We print our cards with a matte finish, on 300gsm card stock, in order to give all of the designs from our lovely creators a beautiful, premium finish. We believe that using a shiny laminate can cheapen the great designs our creators upload, as well as having harmful effects for the environment, so this is why we opted for this finish.

It does say this on our product page for each card, but it could be that we need to make this more prominent. Let down in every way

Ordered an anniversary card and I paid extra for guaranteed tracked delivery. It didn’t arrive when it should have or in time for the occasion. Customer services not responding to email and when I rang them, the message said they’re in training all day. How can a company like this not have customer service available? Very disappointed and will not be using again.

Unreliable

Unreliable. Missed the delivery they promised to give. Very expensive and a waste of money.
Didn’t fulfil what they say they will.
Tools 3 days to respond.
Won’t use again.

I would avoid using this company for…

I would avoid using this company for birthday cards. I’ve just them twice now and on both occasions they have failed to meet the stated delivery time. As it’s a birthday, cards are useless once they are a couple of days late. I won’t be using them again, and I’d advise anyone else to stay clear too.

Didn’t include envelopes for the 2…

Didn’t include envelopes for the 2 cards that I ordered even though it says ‘envelopes included’. Had to hand the cards to the recipient without an envelope which believe it or not ruins the experience of receiving a card. I bought two £4 cards so spent £8 and didn’t even receive one envelope. Shocking. Have complained.

Couldn't recommend more

Thortful offers the most impressive and varied selection of greeting cards online. There are so many options, even for occasions you would normally find it impossible to buy a card for at a high-street card retailer.

I use them for all of my greeting card needs; fully recommend.

Terrible customer service.

Terrible customer service.

Ordered a card and payed extra for it to be delivered next day. Didn't arrive untill 3 days later than I wanted ..
Emailed the company and not heard anything back from them . Poor customer service.

Didn’t even send out my purchase

Didn’t even send out my purchase. Ordered a Father’s Day card a week before Father’s Day…. Didn’t arrive and that’s been 2 weeks now. No chance of being refunded either.

Positive in every way

I’ve only ever had positive experiences from Thortful, even when the delivery was lost their custom services saved the day. Their easy to use website draws me to them but the great quality and variety of cards is why I stay

birthday card with chocolates…

Ordered a birthday card with chocolates inside. The card and chocolates went down really well by the receiver and it was a nice surprise for them.

Lovely cards

I’ve bought a few cards from thoughtful recently, the ones with the bar of chocolate in. They are lovely, great quality, have really nice graphics/images and were very well-received. They were delivered well within the estimated timeframe too. Great all round.
