Won’t use while covid is still around

I was due to see the Lumineers in Verona this July (2021) but the event was cancelled on 1st April. I am still to receive my refund and communication has been poor. I have no idea when I will get my money back. While covid is still around I will not be purchasing tickets through Ticketmaster Italy. Very poor service.

The worst service EVER…

The worst service I have ever experienced. I bought tickets for Billie Eilish concert which was cancelled, and refund was not even an option for them. Only voucher. Are you kidding me? Voucher for what exactly during covid pandemic? Ater 1 year and 3 months I finally got refund (after sending hundreds of e-mails on which I never got an answer, except automatic respons), but they only refunded ticket price, not customer service fee which was 7 euros. What a scam! Never again purchasing tickets from them.

The Billie Eilish concert was initially suspended while the event organizer here in Italy was working to reschedule it for a new date.

Ticketmaster acts as intermediate between the event organizer, and customers using our website to purchase tickets. Our role is to support the event organizer in selling the tickets, and manage customers queries.

For this reason, we are not the ones authorising refunds, whether in cash or voucher. The event organizer communicates the guidelines to us, and we are required to pass them on to customers.

Once the event was officially cancelled, refunds were authorised and are still being processed, as the deadline for requesting them is set at 20/07/2021.

The refund is always equal to the face value of the ticket including the presale fee. Service charges and any shipping costs are non refundable.

Horrible customer service

It has been more than 1 month and a half that I am waiting for the refund of one of the cancelled concert (SYSTEM OF A DOWN in Milano), no customer service by phone and they do not reply to my emails or it takes ages to get an email from them that does not solve anything. The other issue is that they say they will reimburse on the card used for the first payment (in 2019 and we are in 2021!!) but what if the card we paid with has changed? Will the money still arrive on the account? Also I requested a refund of two tickets for the concert AEROSMITH in Milano today but they do not seem to have a proper money refund form, there is only the option for a voucher which I am absolutely not interested in since I do not intend to book any other concert with them nor go to Italia for the next years.

I bought billie eilish concert's ticket and it got canceled.. And didn't get a refund.. This is so unprofessional.. I hate this.. Ticketmaster london directly refunded the money.. Without even requesting it..

Worst ticket seller on the planet!

I bought the tickets for the canceled event due to covid19, and requested a refund within given period for refund requests. Since I’ve changed jobs and country neither the card nor the bank account I used to pay for the tickets don’t exist anymore, and I’ve sent a request for a refund on my current card and bank account with IBAN details, copy of the passport and whatnot, and they didn’t even had a courtesy to answer my request, a month later they just sent me an email that my refund has been processed 2 weeks ago to the card used for purchase WHICH DOESN’T EXIST anymore!!! How stupid are they? I will file for a lawsuit, this won’t end like this!

This is part of our terms and conditions you agreed to when purchasing tickets on our platform.

We do appreciate the situation, however as we are unable to exchange method of payment, we can only suggest that you contact your bank to redirect the funds to your new account.

Our Customer Service has provided you with all the details to use to retrieve the transaction with your old bank, and you should be able to do so over the phone or via email.

Will literally steal your money

Event cancelled due to covid-19 which is understandable but Ticketmaster's response was not.

They've been uncomicative, purposefully obtrusive and nearly outright fraudulent.

Initially TicketMaster stated I could not have a refund, I could only have a voucher or new tickets to the event a year later. I said I was unhappy with this and asked for a proper refund and was ignored since May.

Later the Italian government changed their regulation to ensure businesses gave actual refunds and TicketMaster decided to not only not tell customers about this change, but also to put a 30 day window for requesting refunds so as to ensure customers still wouldn't get their money if they somehow found out on their own like I did.

They've removed their customer service phone number and email address so you cannot contact them and have replaced it instead with a refund form on their website (that is already expired as mentioned above) and if you send an enquiry through their general helpdesk they give a 2 month response time, which is quite frankly a joke.

I strongly recomend you avoid TicketMaster Italia and find another method to but your tickets.

COVID 19 has given organisations like…

COVID 19 has given organisations like Ticketmaster to keep peoples money for events that have been cancelled and issue worthless vouchers or worse still not even communicate with ticket holders. I will never trust Ticketmaster again. Firenze Rock was an amazing festival scheduled for June 2020. Refunds had to be filed within a month. No notifications were emailed to those who had bought tickets. All I can see on the Facebook page is hundreds of complaints from fans that have lost everything. I was personally at sea off grid. I would not have received any notification but none were sent all the same. I have lost all my money as have all my friends who were going. We no longer trust Italy, Ticketmaster or the event organisers who clearly have used the pandemic to create even more suffering. The government of Italy should stop this happening, if the European Union exists should stop this happening. This event was truly international and Florence's reputation will be damaged. The event will die and the economy will suffer as people will not trust to book for future events. If Firenze Rock and Italy stand up and help the fans I will change this review. I personally do not trust Italy to do this. I love Italy and the people and you have failed miserably in the eyes of the music world. SHAME ON YOU.

Money scammers

Billie Eilish Concert cancelled and ticketmaster.it offered NO OTHER option other than to receive a voucher. I do not live in Italy, and I had a once in a lifetime plan for this concert. Now I am stuck with a voucher that is of absolutely no use to me now. How shameful. Keep up the dismal reputation and you will certainly fail..

WARNING - FRAUD

YOU WILL NEVER GET A REFUND ON A CANCELLED EVENT !!!!

After several months of no responses on +10 mails I finally got a written confirmation on refund for a cancelled concert nothing has happended - I even now have a mail saying that despite the written confirmation I would again not get a refund. Despite writing back there is dead silence...

I want a refund

I buy a ticket for a concert.

The concert is cancelled.

I expect to get a full refund, not a ticket for a different event, 10 months after, I will not be able to attend (I do not live in Italy).

It doesn't matter whether the Italian laws allow ticketmaster to behave like this. A serious company would not put up this SCAM. You are a joke.

Complete dishonest thieves!

I had 2 tickets for the CAGE THE ELEPHANT gig in Milan at the fabric Venue that happende to be in the first week of lock down.
After at list 10 emails for Refund application, I have received an answer where they said they would refund me within 7 to 10 days, it's already more than 2 months I'm waiting for my money since then.
I have also emailed them 3 times already to let them know I never received the refund but I keep getting an email where they say that the email address I used its now closed... unfortunately it's the only contact they kept on the website.
They definitely deserve to close down for ever, they are completely dishonest, it is not the way to treat a costumer.

Violated terms and conditions!!! Absolute joke.

I have purchased 3 tickets for a total of 274.50 EUR with 1 order and today I received a refund voucher of 86.25 EUR which you see is not the refund of 3 tickets. Even if there a three vouchers the total amount would be 258.75 EUR which is again not what I paid for. I have submitted 2 more requests and send 2 emails to the customer support in order to clarify and nothing yet. The event was officially cancelled - this was not my decision! Not only do we receive a refund via voucher but it is not even for the same amount!! In what universe is this considered normal? The terms and conditions said that the refund voucher would be equal to what we have paid...

An absolute disgrace.

A disgrace. Tickets booked for an event in Italy in March 2020. Event cancelled in February and rearranged for October but I am unable to attend then. I have asked for a refund FIVE TIMES and been completely ignored.
It is now June, 4 months after I should have received a refund. I have now asked my credit card company for a refund under chargeback.
I will NEVER use ticketmaster again.

No full refund for cancelled event

I booked to go to a concert in Milan however it was cancelled due to coronavirus. The refund given was €5.88 less than what I paid. After disputing this to ticketmaster they said these were delivery charges for the tickets. My tickets were “pick up at venue” which was clearly stated on my order so there should have been no delivery charges. Terms and conditions clearly state a refund will be given for the full sale price and states nowhere that a proportion of this ticket price is non-refundable even though they have cancelled the event not me. I didn’t mind that the customer service was slow and complicated due to the current pandemic, however I am not happy with incorrect terms and conditions and inability to give people a full refund.

David Letterman was entirely right when…

David Letterman was entirely right when he called Ticketmaster "BEADY-EYED, BLOODTHIRSTY WEASELS’" during the Pearl Jam induction speech to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
By coincidence, ended up goint Padova for the Pearl Jam concert, with tickets bought via Ticketmaster well in advance, with no restricted vision warnings. When I reached my seats, I was shocked when I noticed that I could only see 1/5 of the stage and a very diagonal view of the screens. Impossible to see Stone Gossard, Boom Gaspar, Jeff Ament and Matt Cameron and as for Mike McCready and Eddie Vedder, could see them from time to time when they decided to come to very front of the stage.
Almost 200€, plus all the costs of traveling from Portugal to Italy, lost due to this, indeed, bloodthirsty greedy weasels.
Evidently I complained and, as expected, there's nothing they can do for me.
