Used to be my go-to site for all things hardware - not anymore. More ads than content - they haven't reviews a single GPU since June. Their GPU charts seems to have been abandoned - the site s... See more

Just asked a few simple questions about upgrading my pc. Split them in different forums because no one answers a thread after a couple replies. And the moderator straight up just says: "Stop wasting o... See more

Website and the support is a joke. Seriously, every time i have an issue and google directs me to that site, the supposed "solution" (Keep in mind, it's MARKED as the solution, which is why google links me to it), is almost always "Contact microsoft" and or "Huh, no idea"
As of right now, ive been working to solve an issue for nearly an hour, but regardless of how i word it in search engines, i keep getting linked to multiple "solved" answers to same type of questions. ALL of them variations of "I don't know"
This site is so bad it's effecting other sites.
Think of them as a press release site…
Think of them as a press release site for companies rather than a legitimate review site.
We do what we must...
TW was my the first HW news site. I loved it! Getting all the reviews, all the news.... Until I realized now: it turned into pile of sh**t. ADs everywhere, most of them are just click-bait style, huge un-closable bar at the bottom... Seriously, WTH? I run without ad-blocker, as I usually want to support sites I visit... Add QoL changes (no more comments after news post). And questionable objectiveness in the reviews/news...
I was very sad to remove [H] bookmark, it will be even sadder to remove HW bookmark. But we do what we must. And we must bury our dead.
Would give 1 star because of 0…
Would give 1 star because of 0 credibility.
But the site still has older posts that are still useful to this day.
In short, this website was really great but it started going down hill drastically to the point where it's being bought to bias reviews.
Run by Millennials/Inexperienced Moderators
I used to post on this site a lot and provided as much help as possible, until I saw the double-standard in this place. Mods will protect their friends even if they are in the wrong for either making fun of people, or outright disrespect them. I donate my time to help other people with tech issues, and get repaid by Mods protecting other people who disrespect people just because they "don't like what they hear". I left that site once I saw it's true face.
You also have self entitled Millennials running the site who think they know everything there is to know about computers just because they watched a couple of videos on YouTube. Seriously?
Go elsewhere. I'm looking for a new place to post where people, like me, take the time to post and help others for free, and at least get the respect they deserve.
Used to be a cutting edge technology…
Used to be a cutting edge technology review site, now just a monetised site that has zero credibility. DO NOT believe anything written on here.
Full of lie and miss leading reviews …
Full of lie and miss leading reviews (Intel, Nvidia, Corsair) vs (AMD, G.Skills), and this comes from an experience and confrontation of their reviews that I never got reply for. Even in one case a Mod there suggested specs based on old gen i5 Intel CPU while you can get double the performance if you get AMD for the same budget.
Their Ads amount are insane, so you need a decent AdBlocks if you want to view their website.
Try it out, you'll be satisfied!
I love this site. I went to Tom's to buy laptop..had a wonderful experience! I definitely recommend it!
Very Relevant
This one is really Informative, Practical and Relevant to the topics it covers, I have made many hardware decisions based on this website, especially Power Supply, Motherboard and Processor.
Best reference for IT issues
This website is a must for those who are looking for solutions, advices, suggestions and much more about all topics related to informatics. I am not an expert but in many situations i have found solutions to my issues just looking for the proper thread in the forum. Above all I appreciate the fact that moderators are always present to keep discussions on track and avoid them to become a mess of random comments. I would give five star if the indexing system for fast key-word search was improved, as sometimes is a bit frustrating to scroll tenths of pages to find the comment you are looking for.
This is an incredible website
As a Computer Tech I love reading the articles on Toms hardware. It's one of the best websites to use for anything hardware related. They always have the most up to date on new on hardware that's getting ready to come out. They post great reviews on the hardware as well. When I go to look for new PC equipment I trust using toms hardware!
