TOP GOLF GIFT CARD A BIG< BIG RIP OFF!

I bought a $100. gift certificate on 12/23/2019 from Cashstar. This was a gift we gave our grandson(7yrs old) for Christmas. It said "Never Expires" and was assured of such by a representative . Most importantly on the certificate it said"This includes: Two (2) one hour private golf lessons Two(2) hours of top Golf Game Play"..(2)$10. Game Play Bonus Cards also included. Made reservations for (1)hour individual junior lesson and (1)hour of Top Golf Game Play for July 28,2021. Well what a mess...the lesson went fine but when we got to the Top Golf Game...no one could recognize the gift certificate...the manager, Scott Crouse,Top Golf Alpharetta,GA said there was no such gift certificate with those items listed...except if I had come into the store itself during the holiday so what I had did not include what was described on the certificate. As a result of our constant conversation....I missed almost the entire time my grandson was hitting the golf balls..he even said "Grandma you arent watching me." How could I, when this Top Golf facility did not want to accept a gift certificate I purchased with the detailed activities plainly typed on the certificate. As I continued to state my dissatisfaction...the manager wrote on my certificate that we had remaining 1 Junior Lesson and 1 hour of Top Golf Play BUT in checking my certificate balance $1.13!!!! So I have no faith that when I try to take my Grandson back that my gift certificate will be honored!!! I paid $100 and did NOT receive what was written or described! Cashstar says it is not their problem....so who cares about the customer here??? I have copies of it all if someone from Top Golf will contact me, which I doubt will happen since I have already sent several emails.

8/13/2021 As expected it has been 7 days and NO response from Top Golf to any of the various “ feedback sites” I have contacted!!!

You pay $25 to reserve but not…

You pay $25 to reserve but not refundable even if you show up. What a rip off. They can just make money and profit just on reserving your spot. This is beyond me and have never heard of such money making model. There are so many way they can trick you to pay. Doesn’t feel like a customer friendly model. Wish I could give less than 1 rating for their money sucking model.

Tyrant Manager!

These are definitely crazy times! My two buddies, my son and myself were totally stoked for an evening at TopGolf in Glendale, AZ tonight. We reserved a bay for 90 minutes and we were 45 minutes in, having a good time when the manager came to our bay and started getting uptight about something. My buddy had brought some water in a gallon jug because it was over 100F and he had been working out. We were all drinking water and being really civil, in fact way more than normal. The manager tore into my friend about bringing outside drinks in (you would think that water would be exempt especially in the Arizona heat). I am ex-police and my buddies are military vets. We are all gentlemen and we experienced blatant disrespect and bullying from this poor guy. This was totally unprofessional and I told him to leave us alone because we were paying for our time, the waitress was bringing my buddy another water, and there literally wasn't any problem left. He kept pushing the outside drink issue, it was seriously a nearly empty water jug, and then he logged us out of our reservation and kicked us out of the business with three police officers and two security guards. This was totally uncalled for and even the people playing all around us couldn't believe what was happening. This was the most unprofessional experience with an entertainment service that I have ever experienced in my 44 years. I definitely will keep going to TopGolf in Scottsdale, but this venue should seriously consider firing this Micro-tyrant. His loss, because we golfed for free and he made a fool of himself in front of his workers.

DO NOT BUY GIFT CARDS FROM TOP GOLF YOU WILL LOSE YOUR MONEY.Christmas 2019 I was given a £20.00 gift card.During COVID lock down I somehow got the card expiry date extended.I tried to use it on the 30th April 2021 only to find out it expired on the 29th April 2021.Top Golf Watford Manager refused to accept it despite agreeing it had not been used. He said he would email his Head Office to get it extended.I have heard nothing and worse still, you CANNOT SPEAK TO ANYONE ON THE PHONE you are referred back to the web site.On the web site it says you can phone or email.NOT ONLY DO THEY NOT ANSWER THE PHONES THEY DO NOT REPLY TO EMAILS.Basically this is fraud/theft!!

I will never go to this top golf venue…

I will never go to this top golf venue again. First of all there was a two hour wait and the check-in clerk got my phone number which because I’m a member pulled up all of my information and scheduled my visit. After waiting two hours I went up to the counter to ask how much longer my wait would be. Luckily, it was the same check in person, but she told me that she had made a mistake and must have put in the wrong phone # (Which, we’ve already established was impossible, since with my phone number she pulled up my information. She even verified that my name was correct in their system-Calling me by name before I gave it to her). Anyways, once she realized her mistake she went and talked with somebody and came back and said that I would be given priority status and it would not take more than 10 to 15 minutes to get us a Bay. Well, after waiting another 45 minutes I had to again approach the counter. The associate was no longer there, so I asked to see a manager. Finally, at this point they were able to get us a bay pretty quickly. However, no restitution or offer was made to rectify the negative experience and terrible customer service. Later, put about 10 minutes left to go we asked our waitress for a refill of our drinks and extra sauce for our meal. She rudely informed us that there was not enough time left and that if we wanted her to help us we would need to extend for a minimum of 15 more minutes. Worse than that, she started asking about payment and closing out of her account As our time was running down. She literally wasted the last 10 minutes going over payment details keeping us from finishing our game and paying for time we weren’t able to use. I’m totally disappointed as I’ve been to top golf many many times and never had such a negative experience. If I were you, I would stay away!

Top Golf - GREAT

I would like to say that my time at top golf in Huntsville, Al was very nice. The staff greeted us when we came in and explained to some of us how payment, games, and other parts of the top golf experience work. The staff was over all helpful, kind, and attentive to any need that came about. The facility was clean and neat. Their food was very tasty and my time there was time well spent.

Brilliant customer service, helpful and polite, clean toilets and COVID aware.
Our first time visiting and would highly recommend. Food for lunch was really tasty and substantial. Golf was great fun and atmosphere good. I would recommend you turn up as early as possible to get in though as the que can become long and no shade. Great 2 hours spent!

Do not purchase gift cards from this company! They are horrible! I paid for expedited shipping and they still only sent it out regular mail. When I called for a refund of the shipping charges, I was told that I would have to ask the USPS to refund my charge. These people are absolutely incompetent. I will never again give these people my business!

I went there last week and when I say…

I went there last week and when I say the service sucked it was horrible for my first time. I wanted to play golf but the wait was too long. After asking the guy if we could play pool while we waited he sent downstairs but didn't inform us where to get the balls or sticks or anything. No waiter was in the pool area, so we had to find someone to wait on us. As far as the food it was horrible, cold french fries and when I got home I was sick the next day. I will not go back.

Kicked out before we could sign our check and finish our drink

Went to topgolf with the family and as soon as the time hit zero the teen working there jumped on us like a vulture and kicked us out. I hadnt finished my drink and my husband had not signed the check. We usually save some balls at the end no more than 5 so the girls can hit them as the last ones before they leave so they dont throw a tantrum (they are both under 5). We have usually done this and while he finishes paying up and finish our drinks grab our stuff and go. Takes no longer than 5 minutes if that since they hit the balls very quickly it may take 2 minutes... But today they got on us about it and kicked us out. The machine literally hit zero and she showed up to tell us to grab our stuff and go. After speaking to the manager she didnt care and told us it was becuase of covid. We spent more than 150 bucks there. The prices are rediculous the waits are always long and your kicked out before you can even finish your drink. Not to mention when we had to wait at the bar before getting a bay we were ignored until another managaer finally noticed us just looking around. Ontop of it all these annoying kids next to us were literally picking up the balls and throwing them instead of golfing. After that they proceeded to bang the golf clubs violently and loudly on the turf for what reason i don't know-Yet no one was there to address that. However we were promptly kicked out. Wont be going back I'll just go back to the driving range and start teaching our daughters there.

I took my friend out for his birthday…

I took my friend out for his birthday it was our first visit. I saw that walk-in times could be a little lengthy so I decided to make a reservation for 430. First of all I had to pay to $15 to reserve and that doesn’t even go toward you playtime, food or drinks. When we arrived we waited for about 10 minutes and until we were “seated”. We were greeted by our attendant who did not clearly explain how to play the game so we were lost, after 30 mins of playing we finally figured out the game on our own. The customer service was horrible it took forever for the food to arrive and the waitress wasn’t very helpful. Once we finally learned how to play we started to have a good time but by that time we only had about 50 mins left. Overall I rate my experience as ok.

The one in Charlotte was horrible

The one in Charlotte was horrible. They told us an hour wait and we waiting two. The security guard was horrible, he was so rude. The then waiting 30 mins just for waters. The experience was over all bad.

Myrtle Beach location

Myrtle Beach location. Reservations are a joke. Tried for 3 days out with no luck. Showed up and told 2 hour wait. Judging by the cars in the parking lot, I would have thought no wait. Not worth the bother. Grab a drink and go to a driving range at any of the many courses around.

Took good friday off to spend time with…

Took good friday off to spend time with my son whom had no school. Tried calling TG Bentonville the nite before was on the phone for10 minutes w/o talking to a human. Friday morning tried calling again, no human after 10 minutes. Started driving down, 60 minute drive turned into 90 minutes, highway construction. Tried calling on the way down, 15 minutes on the line w/o a human to talk with. Finally arrive, on highway exit can see that there was lots of space open on the end of the building. Walked to the building by passing 2 staff on the outside greeting us. Another 2 staff greeting us inside the door and sending us down the empty line to another staff pointing to the receptionist. 5 staff doing nothing while the receptionist turns us away. We noticed about 30-40 people crowded at the front of the bar, waiting for bays. Asked for a two hour time, nothing available for at least 45 minute, Can see the the doors to the hitting area that there were a couple open bays, thats as many as i could see from where I moved to look and was only that floor only. I explained we called 3 times in the last 18 hours and never were able to talk with someone here. She politely answered, you were calling Dallas. The number was an Bentonville number not a Dallas number, seems like that may be the call center disguised as a Bentonville number. My son had a doctors appointment later in the day so we did not wait the 45 minutes to rent a bay. I have spent my adult life working in the private athletic & golf industry at clubs. I have a pretty good feel for your business model and how to take care of a customer/ we call members. I have been to 3-4 of your locations in different locations, twice in Dallas as we had manager meetings there with Club Corp. My spoiled day will not effect your company but I feel like there could be easily options for better customer service. I understand that it seems a call center could work. If the staff there at the Bentonville can't answer the phone, while 5 staff had the job of saying "welcome to Top Golf' something is really wrong. We would have spent $100-125 with golf, food and drink. I don't believe your bays were all rented. It was a missed opportunity to send us to a bay. No bay rental, no way for F n B or an extra 1/2 to full hour rental. I may try the nock off in Springfield which is the same distance. Noticed it early last week when I went there to watch my sons tennis match. You have a nice product but if you doint get to your bay, who cares. Wayne Brouhard 530 228-0458
