Put a Lid on It!

I bought a Toshiba kettle made for Asda it was manufactured on 8.5.20. It was purchased during Covid and it was a little difficult to pop the lid and I had to press the button a couple of times. On 3rd January 2024 the lid no longer pops up. Toshiba don't want to know and won't help. It must be a throw away society,as big firms like Toshiba don't make things to last. Really dissapointed in the quality it is model KT-17SPPUKS. Such a waste of money!

Don’t buy Toshiba smart TV

Purchased a Toshiba 32” smart TV from John Lewis in December 2022. All went well for the first 8 months, then the problems started. The screen variously on BBC 1, 2, ITV 1, to name but a few, became completely unwatchable due to picture break up and lack of sound. Sought the assistance of an aerial guy who installed a new aerial and cable. He had great difficulty in tuning the TV to the local transmitter (about 3 miles away) but eventually, after numerous trips up on to the roof, he managed it. Thought, for a couple of hours, the situation was resolved. WRONG! Since then, I have to retune multiple times every day. Luckily I have a five year warranty but at this time of year I do need a TV so I’m having to put up with it until Spring, when John Lewis will arrange collection, and hopefully, I’ll never have to see it again. Certainly will not be purchasing a Toshiba TV ever again.

Will never buy a Toshiba product ever again. 65 inch fire t.v purchased in June 2023 . White flashing lines across the screen ring them up send pictures & video's while on the phone to be told to unplug the t.v and hdmi which we did , oh must be your sky box " best laugh iv had " Always had a sky box it's your t.v not no sky box . Trying everything to get out of replacing it . Making customers out to be liers and blaming a sky box . Making everything hard work rather than accept its a product fault . Absolutely Disgusting Toshiba.

Toshiba is just cheap tat!

Would much prefer to give zero stars but you can't!
Where do I start... I bought a Toshiba TV 50UL2063DB from AO about 16 months ago, TV is in the bedroom so probably only gets a couple of hours use a week at most, thought I'd watch a bit of Christmas telly this evening and as soon as I switched it on I had horizontal lines filling the screen and the TV was switching on and off itself, Googled the problem and have gone through all of the supposed fixes but the telly is kaput, checked the Toshiba UK warranty site and hey, it's only 12 months manufacturers cover....... my Panasonic is 10 years old and my sons Samsung is 8 almost 9 years old and not had any issues despite them being on at least 10 hours per day every day, Toshiba will never again be procured in my house as their products are not fit for purpose.

Great tv!

When i started to live on my own. I bought a Toshiba tv. (Netherlands) It was with smart and 3d function. But then you needed a 3d dvd player what make sense. But i have the tv over more then 8 years! With the newest tv receiver, sometimes it looks so sharp. It looks like i have 4 k television. But it is full hd. It works very great till this time. I get very much compliments about the sharpness of the tv. Only the smart function is broke. But what do you expect after more then 8 years. Now i use the smart function of the receiver of the provider. Compliments on the tv!

This is a review for the Toshiba…50inch TV

This is a review for the Toshiba 50-inch television. We have only had it 18 months. I bought it May 2022. And it has now stopped working. The screen is just no good. It's got lines going all over it. Really bad. I phoned customer service. The guy was very helpful. But unfortunately, because it's over 12 months old and I didn't take an extra warranty out, like an idiot, they aren't interested. Aren't interested at all. They want me to go back to Argos and tell them. Even though I know Argos will say, well, it's a manufacturing fault. It's not ours. This time of year, you would think that they would, as a gesture of goodwill, they would help you out. People can't afford to buy TVs with the cost of living. So if you're thinking of buying a TV, Toshiba, think again.

This has to be the worst tv ever! We have had nothing but problems with this tv ever since we purchased it about a year ago.

Today tops it off. Saturday afternoon I thought I’m gonna watch a nice Christmas film but my piece of **** tv has decided not to turn on. Would not recommend.

Toshiba TV 50inch model no 50UL2063DB tv…

Bought a Toshiba 50inch 50UL2063DB tv less than 2 yrs ago. Now the picture has vertical lines across it and Toshiba chat helpline are saying tough, outside their 1 yr manufacturers warranty. Looks like they only expect their shoddy crap to last a year so my advice is to avoid buying Toshiba brand because even they don’t expect it to last! Looks like a no tv xmas for us because I cannot replace it just now 🤬

Bought a 65 inch Toshiba tv from Argos…

Bought a 65 inch Toshiba tv from Argos around 2 years ago. It’s now only showing a black screen. Phoned Toshiba helpline, the guy who answered completely guessed (wrongly) that it was a panel failure and decided it was not economic to repair it. He was rude, and absolutely no help at all. TV is broken and useless after 2 years. Avoid buying Toshiba at all costs.

This is the worst TV I’ve ever owned in…

This is the worst TV I’ve ever owned in 42 years. Let that sink in.

This TV has a mind of its own. It changes channels, exits apps, turns down the volume. Jumps, lags, changes screen colour. You name it, it’s possessed. Change batteries update software…. No difference.

Worse still it was a gift so I’m stuck with this utter heap of crap. I’ll never buy a Toshiba product ever again and I’ll tell everyone who’ll listen how utterly crap their tv’s are

Bought a Toshiba 50" TV Model # 50UL2163DBC in November 2021 from Argos. Exactly 2 years later TV broke down. Called Argos, was directed to Toshiba. Called them, they said cos it has passed the 1-year guarantee date there is nothing they can do. My advice? Never buy a Toshiba

Bad quality TVs

As a previous reviewer has. I purchased 2 50UL2063DB. Both went faulty with identical vertical lines on the screen 1 at a year old and the other at 2 years. Crap quality. Don’t buy Toshiba. Toshiba clearly have quality problems

Should of read the reviews. Avoid

I purchased the Toshiba LCD colour tv, model number 50UL2163DB from Tesco. Typical me, I threw the receipt away as I thought the tv would last me years but after 8 months the bottom half of the screen looks like it’s got interference. It clears sometimes but reverts back after a minute or two.
Absolutely crap.
