DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I read some bad reviews and gave the company the benefit of the doubt. i Placed my order for a new bathroom and kitchen August 2020,I promised installation September 2020. I paid the deposit and then money for the cupboards. I paid about two thirds of the money. The September installation was pushed to October, October got pushed to January, January got to March then March to April. I was given a number of different excuses all to do with COVID. When I was told in January that the doors for my cupboards which were supposed to be British made were still in Italy, I didn't want April to come and I not get my order so I cancelled. Fortunately for me I was able to get my money back. The Salesman and Surveyor are very convincing and good at their job but I cannot recommend the company at all. Do not do what I do, all these warnings are correct.
I believe all the positive reviews you see on Google maps are either fake, or they are from customers that were promised to receive everything in time plus a compensation if they updated the review, that's exactly what they did with us. They called us day and night asking us to update our review and remove the negative comments, at the end they offered me £1000 for my 5 stars, needless to say I refused them.
So far I'm getting the worst service I have ever had with endless delays.
I paid for my kitchen a lot more than the quote I received from other sellers for a similar kitchen just because they promised me 2 weeks for the delivery, turns out it wasn't true, at the time I'm writing I'm still waiting for some components to be delivered.
The fitters arrived in my house to install the kitchen 3 weeks ago (On July 31st), on Monday morning at 9 am, and left when they realised the kitchen wasn't delivered yet. The kitchen was, partly, delivered the same day in the afternoon so I had to call at work and ask to stay at home to wait for the delivery. On August 15th I received another package with some doors for my kitchen, but on August 21st (at the time I'm writing) I'm still waiting for the delivery of some elements for my kitchen (hob extractor, magic corner...).
During this time they were looking for any possible excuse to extend the delay, I was told that they were missing my signature on a document so they couldn't deliver my kitchen, so I asked them to send the document by mail so I could print and send it back, they lost 3 days for sending this document, and on the THIRD day I got this by email "Sir. ...Apologies I have no internet at home still l will find wifi this morning and send to you", looks like he didn't have wifi to send me the document, but he had wifi to send me this email... looks absolutely legit.
The latest excuse to justify the delay in the installation of my kitchen is that the quartz for the worktop that I ordered on June 29th as of today (22nd August) didn't arrive yet.
Moreover the manager of the company told me I wasn't going to get any compensation for the fact that I had to lose 4 days of work so far, and also lost my planned holiday waiting for them.
When we met Mr. Asad he told us that we were very lucky because a customer just freed the slot at the factory, so if we placed our order immediately (he literally told us "you have 10 minutes") we would have that slot and our kitchen would be prepared in the next 14 days. This was obviously not true, because we had to wait lot more than 14 days for our kitchen to be prepared. Now I realise it was just a "seller trick", I just wonder how many times he used it.
Update August 24th: I received a call in the morning from Mr. Chris asking me to remove the negative comment in exchange he promised to speed up the process and pay me a compensation for the days of work I've lost. At the end the process wasn't speed up because anyway the ETA for my worktop is still an undefined day during next week.
Update August 25th: After insisting they told me they have finally the stone for my worktop, they told me it will take one week for cutting it and preparing it for my kitchen.
Update September 1st: Finally the worktop is installed, but I have to wait up to next week to complete the installation of the kitchen (sink, hob, cabinet doors...), according to Mr. Binsley from TQL the whole process will last less than one day. Anyway I got a 2cm tick worktop even if the one I ordered was 3cm thick. I am not happy with it, because it looks very cheap in my new kitchen. Anyway I asked to Lee from TQL if I will get a refund for the price difference between the 2cm one and the 3cm one, he told me that actually the 2cm worktop is even more expensive (?!?!?!), of course after listening to a lot of lies I didn't believe him and asked for a quotation from the same stone company for a 2cm and a 3cm worktop, and as I expected the 3cm worktop is more expensive, I'm just adding another lie to the list.
I can't continue with the story of my kitchen as I will exceed the character limit, but after more than 3 months my kitchen was still not usable and I was left with buying take away food or cooking with the microwave.
Update - TQL are now in liquidation, as per the notice in The Gazette.

Which Legal (legalservice.which.co.uk) were very good, and helped us. We highly recommend Lauren, our advisor.
According to Companies House, Top Quoter Ltd/ TQL, company number 07897785, is "active" and has net assets of £250,000.
Should TQL be in administration, there are possibilities to get your money back. Plus, TQL's Director is also Director of My World Eco Ltd, which is trading.

BBC Three counties consumer programme have just announced to a customer who is owed £3000 pounds and now won't get it back.
Well since my last review I am no nearer getting my kitchen finished despite several assurances from Chris the owner of this shambolic company. Chris will promise the sun moon and stars but has no notion of delivering.The latest from him Steve will be available to do your upstanding when can he come and when I gave a date that’s the last I heard from him.I do wonder about the solvency of this company? Again if anyone out there is thinking of buying a kitchen from TQL please be prepared for the shoddiest service and inferior workmanship I can supply pictures as proof.Shame on you Chris Jay for causing so much distress to your customers you should not be trading like this?
Appalling company,been waiting 2 years to get my deposit back, they paid some but not all, tried sending e mails calling etc left mess,nothing. Its soooo frustrating.
I have to say I have experienced shocking service from all personnel associated with this disgusting company. Received the kitchen after 1 year, and it is a poor quality kitchen by any stretch of the imagination. It feels like they have just bundled together units to make a kitchen.
No care in the world to take any responsibility . They seem to think they are doing you a favour by providing a kitchen which you have paid for.
By the way i have no reason to hide any names, as i have nothing to hide, and disgusting behavior should be highlighted. The person responsible for fitting kitchen goes by the name of Ross, and he is a vile vile human being. Once you have paid your money, him and his minions will only do the very basic, even if the kitchen is not in a usable state. If you confront him, he will get very angry and threaten to remove the whole kitchen. Apparently i should be grateful to have some kind of a kitchen, and I should have paid more, if i wanted a perfect kitchen. He admitted that the business is using money from new customers to stay afloat, and that most of the people who have paid will never see their kitchen, as the owner Chris has run the business poorly, and has previous form in poor business management. Word of advise.. please do not use this kitchen fitter. You will regret this forever. Happy for TQL to respond to this, as other people have had a similar experience. This company should be put out of its misery and shut down to stop de-frauding more innocent people.
The process started well, nice design, very friendly….
But then it all went down hill from there. I had to keep on chasing them, our delivery date kept on being moved (I had to phone up to find this out) then their fitters didn’t bother to show up on many occasions, part of it fell down on top of my wife’s head, despite being told it was safe to use. It then took at least two weeks for someone to come out and rectify the problem.
Our kitchen still hasn’t been finished after ordering it over a year ago, and I’m now doubting if it ever will be.
We paid a deposit for a kitchen in October 2020. Two weeks later TQL contacted us to say our kitchen would be delivered two weeks later and we needed to pay the balance. We paid almost £6,000 by November 2020. Two weeks came and went. No contact from TQL. We chased them and got to various members of staff, eventually after scores of phone calls and rude responses.
The excuses:
November 2020-January 2021
- your kitchen is delayed in Italy due to Covid
January 2021-February 2021
- The kitchen has arrived in the UK and is in our facility. The doors are not ready yet

- Your kitchen will be delivered week beginning 19th April

- Date came and went
- Sorry kitchen doors have a problem. Kitchen will be ready May. Guaranteed.

- After many calls again from was told that there was no intention to deliver by an angry employee of TQL
- After Many more calls the owner promised that he would deliver, solve our issue and remain in contact.
- From May 17th the owner stopped taking our calls.
This company has taken our money and others judging from the honest reviews. Do not be fooled by the suspicious 5 star ratings of others.
Judging from the dates of complaints, TQL have taken money from new customers whilst not delivering to existing ones.

We had the most appalling experience with TQL Kitchens. We paid our deposit but never received our kitchen or a refund or an apology; just one falsehood after another. Save yourself the stress keep clear of TQL kitchens!
TQL kitchens knowingly took nearly £6,000 from me (Summer 2019) knowing that they would never deliver my kitchen. I took them to court. On 6 April 2021, the court ruled in my favour: IT IS ORDERED THAT 1. Judgment on the claim for the Claimant against Defendant for £5862 (inc interest) and costs of £745 (inc witness expenses) to be paid by 4th May 2021.
I am now taking further action for the court to enforce the judgement as they still haven't returned my money. TQL told the court that they were not trading because of the COVID pandemic, and had no money. Yet if you called them today, they will happily sell you a kitchen and take your money - same as they've done throughout the pandemic. Please do not give this company your hard earned cash. They will greedily take it, ignore your calls and emails, and cause you emotional and financial distress. I will keep posting about them this company to warn others. If you've been scammed by them too, I urge you to take them to court. Do not let them get away with it.
Wow!! Got my kitchen delivered after purchasing it over a year ago, after threatening them with legal action. Yes, that's the only way i was able to receive my kitchen.
The quality of the kitchen is shocking and beyond poor.
1) Cheap quality legs which are very brittle
2) Carcass units not cut to proper size
3) Doors without hinge grooves
4) Fixing screws for carcass is very flimsy
5) Coloured panels are not cut to size, so have to cut myself and find an edging strip to match the door colour
Will i be getting in touch with these clowns? Absolutely not, as they will have every excuse under the sun, as they did for non-delivery of kitchen, and make it look like its my fault.
Will be heading to my local Howdens/ Wickes/B&Q to purchase replacement units and take the extra hit on cost.
By the way, the positive reviews are fake, as alot of people have pointed out. No one would have been able to get a kitchen delivered in the time frame that they mentioned. Most people have been waiting for over a year for kitchen delivery including myself. There is no care for customers, as once you have paid, there will be no communication from their side.

This company is a fraud. They will promise big and deliver nothing. Lockdown is not an excuse for poor service. There is nothing luxurious about their Kitchen. Quality is sub standard with cheap gimmicks. Same can be said about their kitchen fitter Ross, who is a vile human being, and does not care about customer or quality.
All the positive reviews are fake, as one look at the profile for all positive reviews, will show they have posted reviews only for TQL. I will be shocked if anyone has a positive experience with this company. Will be reporting them to trading standards to stop them scamming people out of their money.

I been under legal action with this company because after 5 month they didn't delivered none of what was promised. I spent over 10k, didn't have my money back and didn't have the goods that I have bought.
BE AWARE! They will promise everything and delivered nothing.
THEY USE MY MONEY FOR THEIR BUISNESS AND THEY TOLD ME THAT THEY DON'T HAVE THE MONEY FOR BUY THE GOODS THAT I HAVE PAID FOR BECAUSE THEY ARE FAILING. I HAD ALL PHONE CALL RECORDED FROM THIS COMPANY TO PROVE THAT, SO DO NOT PURCHASE IF YOU DON'T WANT TO LOOSE YOU'RE MONEY.
This company were terrible! They made so many promises and delivered on none. They were fitting a kitchen for my parents, and caused them so much stress that I didn’t believe them at first. All I could think was ‘how could such a reputable company not deliver?’ It wasn’t until I eventually got over to them that I realised.
The kitchen still isn’t complete, but they have given up trying to get in touch with them, and opted for a local handyman instead.

If you are considering a new Kitchen I would advise that you DON’T choose TQL. A new kitchen is a considerable expense and the kitchen we eventually received, (it was installed late and remains incomplete), was of poor quality and disappointing. The whole process was very stressful, staff were rude and at best not truthful about the delays. For example the kitchen doors were delayed by 6 weeks - because it had been a hot summer and the paint took longer to dry!!! Many of the kitchen doors need replacing, the company agreed that this was the case, but it has never happened.
They fitted the wrong shelving and promised to replace it but never did. At our own expense we have put the right shelves in using another company! When we phoned to complain about the delay in fitting the right shelving we were told that they were inundated with complaints and many people were screaming for their whole kitchens to be fitted so our shelving was not a priority.
The owner of the company spoke with us and promised to remedy issues but he never delivered on his promises. We waited and waited but gave up in the end. We will be contacting the ombudsman and have consulted a lawyer to recover costs incurred.

Whilst the quality of the kitchen is good i wouldn't recommend this company unless you use finance where your money is protected. Our kitchen was initially delayed by a month which caused our extension to be delayed despite. When it was finally delivered tql refused to install it and deliver the quartz despite us having a signed contract. They said thses weren't included and refused to do it without more money. Luckily we had used barclays finance with them nd the finance company told them they would refund the money as they were breaching the contract. After a month of constantly calling them and not having a kitchen when pregnant they finally came to do the work. One of their workers said this was actually common and an old lady had been without a kitchen for a few months and because she had paid cash was unlikely to get it unless she paid above what her contract said.
