I have traxxas cars

I have traxxas cars . I like the ones I have because I rebuilt them . It’s a hit and miss love and hate relationship. Taxxas does have a good platform to start out with. But there overpriced. The lipos and electronics are garbage. Traxxas connectors are horrible. I hate the UDR and XO1 . Those cars do suck. But there other cars are good as long as you rebuild them . The only reason Traxxas doesn’t sell there cars as a roller. Is because Traxxas wants to charge you for there crappie electronics and wants you to keep buying them . Traxxas stock aluminum is poor quality and overpriced. I don’t understand why Traxxas doesn’t start lowering there prices and start selling rollers like there competitors. For one the X-maxx should come with the wide kit and the upgrade parts that come on the XRT . Just look at the Redcat vigilante price and what it comes with compared to the X-maxx . Seems that Traxxas can’t Learned something from this. Team Corally Kagama VS Sledge . XO1 VS Arrma . Makes no sense. Then every time Traxxas releases a new car . It’s on the same platform as the Slash or Xmaxx . Same car or platform. Just a few things changed around and called something different and way more expensive.

I purchased a Traxxas alias that malfunctioned they gave me another at half price. I have sunk over 22 or $300 into it trying to get it to work replaced every part you can and it still doesn’t function. I’m appealing to Traxxas to send me another one and I’ll return the damaged one. It obviously arrived damaged because it’s never really worked. I’m a disabled veteran on a fixed income. I use the drones to exercise my German Shepherd. They are very important to me, I just want what I paid for one that works. I am emailing Trax in the hopes that they respond and help me if they don’t I will I will continue to leave these reviews w updates

Lured me in

Lured me in with free item. Their website said I would get a free winch with a TRX-4 high trail. I ordered it and never saw anything about the winch in the order. So, I messaged customer service and they told me the promo ended. If the promo ended, why was it still advertised on the website?!

I spent over a thousand dollars this…

I spent over a thousand dollars this year a 4-tec car and a drag slash c10, large body shock set, 2 sets of drag slicks, telemetry expander, two temp/volt sensors and mount...my complaint: When I ordered the telemetry expander it did not show both type cables. I think Traxxas should send me the cable that fits the expander but they refuse...after all the money I spent with them...I wonder if others have experienced this same issue?

They took payment for an order that…

Edit* They took my money again!!! 2nd time this week! I paid through PayPal today and order went through, then later tried to order again and they took my money like the first experience I already wrote!! Traxxas is the absolute worst, broken rear differential on a brand new E revo vxl brushless....ran less than 2 hrs. I paid 699 for it when it was still made, sat for 2 yrs....4th time taking it out broken...I've never hit a ramp or even smashed into anything at all!! What a huge waste of money. Stay away

They took payment for an order that never went through. Then tell me it's not them holding the money up...and get this...I have to wait up to a business week for my money back. Up to 10 days. I will never spend another dime here. Sledge and E Revo vxl brushless.....I'll pick a different company for now on. Customer service is 0

I bought a part #7043

I bought a part #7043. Steering hardware for the 1/16 revo which can take two servos. It only came with one servo horn due to their controller can only handle one servo not two. Customer service said that they come and could not help me out on a $5 part. GO ARRMA!

Traxxas is a scam!!!

I spent 2k for an X-Maxx, its charger & batteries as well as the light bar set up. I never ran it super hard maybe a small wheelie now and then but no jumps and I diffidently didn't do any bashing of any kind with it and I kid you not that the first time I took it out it ran about 15 to 20 mins before the pinion gear came lose. When I took it apart I found that there was one small Hex key screw that was taking all the power and weight of the X-Maxx (and when I say small I mean I had to use the smallest Allen wrench to tighten or loosen the screw.) This already wasn't impressive to me but I decided that I could be under estimating it and simply tighten it back to the drive shaft and charged it up and took it out again. This time however after about 10 mins I started hearing the gears grinding, and then after about 15 mins once again the pinion gear came loose off of the drive shaft. When I took a look the second time the spur gear had teeth missing... I called Traxxas and they sent out a new Spur gear. I got the new spur gear in and started to freely rotate the wheels and once again heard the pinion gear and new spur gear grinding keep in mind the new spur gear was the exact same as the old one. I called Traxxas back and this time the guy I talked to tried to make me feel like an idiot. by telling me "well things can just happen" "and did you check the differential for grinding" I told him it was clearly the pinion and spur gear and that I wanted my money back because for spending 2k on a rc vehicle I should absolutely not be having to take the thing apart after 40 mins of total running time. once again he told me "it doesn't matter what brand it is things can just happen to any rc vehicle" and that I would have to get my money back from RC super store seeing how that's where I ordered it from. But RC super store doesn't answer their phone and all they did was send me an email saying to call the Traxxas number to "start the replacement process" So basically I cant get the help I'm looking for because they keep sending me to the other guy. This is really disappointing I do not care if most of the Rc hobby ends up with cars having problems on their first run, if you spend 2k for a car you should not have to be taking it apart after the second time you run it.

Horrible people, horrible experience they just take your money

Traxxas customer service is horrible. I sent them my speed control for a new one. They took my money because I guess they have a credit card on file didn’t bother calling to get verification to use my credit card. Then my item gets lost in the mail and they won’t do anything about it. I am talk to them at least 6 to 8 times along with UPS UPS . I can’t do anything because I don’t have the serial number for the item. They need that from Traxxas !!Traxxas will not. except the case number or take it from me or respond to UPS about the item they keep saying it’s UPS but when UPS gives me all the case numbers and admittedly says they have lost it and are just waiting for it on Traxxas. Not only that they have hung up two times I’ve sent out verification emails letting them know I have not received the item to Bruce t A customer service representative. I guess I will have to start naming them each day and writing their names down so other people know when they’re talking to them they’re gonna get nowhere just a run around from these people!!

If I could give Traxxas 0 stars I…

If I could give Traxxas 0 stars I would.
A new trx4mt you can’t take the wheels off with the tools that they provide. And you can’t find anything anywhere!
A new Trx4 K5 Blazer. The wheels rub on the fenders right out of the box. $1000 and you have to spend more money on it out of the box.
I contacted Traxxas, Rob is who I was chatting with. Cannot or will not help. I will be returning both rc’s.

Would rate this a 0 if I could

Would rate this a 0 if I could. Against my better judgment, I ordered an RC truck for my son and he wanted an extended-life battery with it. There was nothing on the extra battery product page, cart, or checkout page that indicated a separate $100 charger was needed for this battery (which itself already cost $42). This battery arrives and is incompatible with the charger that came with the RC truck. The only way to know this is to open the battery box but guess what...then you are not able to return the product because of their insanely draconian return policy. I tried to work something out with their chat support and the rep was highly defensive and blamed me for not checking all the technical documentation before purchasing. I find their product pages and business practices deceptive and very 'nickel and dime'. Will not purchase anything from them again and am just waiting for the RC truck to break down in the next 5 days so we can turn the page on this unfortunate experience.

Traxxas is junk

Traxxas is junk, just bought my son a RC TRX4 and nothing but problems out of the thing. First was the motor and steering servo. Replaced that then the esc basically caught fire. He has had this thing a month and played with it for about 5mins. Now take the ESC off and mailing it to them so who knows when we will get a replacement. Extremely dissatisfied customer, will go with Axial or CEN next time. Buyer definitely beware

Called customer service about an wiring issue

Called customer service about an ongoing trouble with light kit for a TRX-4 F150 Truck. First time went ok but believe service was just trying to get rid of me. I suspected the parts they sent would not fit the problem. Now this time some guy calling himself AJ told me I had the truck wired all wrong the that I would have to send my truck to them to be repaired. Now I now it was wired right as it is color to color. But he treated like I was not smart. Said they have already sent me more than $100.00 worth of parts and they would not help me any more. They did send me $49.95 worth of parts which did not fix the trouble. I would gladly send the parts back to them.
So for $550.00 worth of truck and $100.00 light wiring kit I was told the only help was to pay over $100.00 in shipping (Both ways) to get any help.
I guess after buying many trucks/cars from traxxas I have come to the end with them.

Customer service sucks

Customer service sucks. For supposedly the top of the line rc car they don’t stand behind their product. Purchased an xmaxx and within 2 month the tires came off the rims. I called them and they said nothing they can do. Ordered 4 new tires and not even 24 hours one of the tires was coming off the rim. Called them again and all they could say was sorry we could send you some glue.

Batteries are horrible

Would honestly give them 0 stars if that was possible. Bought 2 batteries from this company back in July, they lasted maybe 6 months, contacted the company and they didn't want to help us out, all they wanted to do was sell us more. We used the traxxas charger for them and everything, will never buy from them again. Do not recommend. Overpriced junk.
