Traxxas Great customer service !

I had a problem with the ESC in my Xmaxx, so I called customer service for Traxxas they were knowledgeable friendly and told me exactly how I needed to go about sending both the ESC and motor in so they could test out the set to make sure there wasn’t a problem with the motor as well ! After a couple of weeks (sending me emails periodically) they sent me a new ESC and my old motor with a clean bill of health. I wasn’t only happy with them covering my old ESC but the level of customer service from my first phone call and the emails that let me know they received the items to status reports and finally receiving a new ESC. Service above and beyond, thank you Traxxas !

Please come and see a more beginner RC car for the inconvenience

I used to think highly of your company’s products and RC cars until My most recent purchase and experience just in the month of May 2020 I purchased a Max with the Lipo battery and a charger kit spent almost $1000 and the car wouldn’t work after the second time I I drove it turns out, as expensive as their products are that there was no returns on any product that has been driven and I don’t agree with that I got the product it’s way too skilled for me I spent all that money and after the second time I can’t even get it to work and end up selling it for $400 on offer up and lost $500, not a product I want to represent or standby could’ve at least returned it and traded me for something a little less advanced but the customer support people with TRAXXAS weren’t even willing to work with me one bit.

Service is a joke

The worst customer service I have ever seen, by traxxas.com

I’ve Bought 2 traxxas X-Maxx with Xtra equipment by a dealership in Denmark, which, all in denmark use the same image of an xmax with 6700mah batteries, a charger and controller(Combo package), for Over 3000 dollars and was told by their customer service, that the new models came with another controller than on the combo pictures. I Complained about false advertisement for showing other controllers than what I ordered and paid for, specially when I used over 3000 Dollars of hard earned money, the description didnt say otherwise about the controllers either. I quote what I was Being told, “That is your choice to spend that amound”

I didnt even know that Traxxas had such a bad reputation in customer service. Its sad to see that they are treating their paying customers like this.

Before I could reply at the end of the conversation, i was being kicked for being “idle”, which was weird, because it happened so fast after his last reply to me

the worst customer support / dont waist your time and money.

the worst customer support. they look like do everything but nothing to support. useless company with loads of garbage. asked for support from their web site chat service. Typical......... never answered my questions..just he send links to the supporting manuals..that id*** doesn't seems to understand that why somebody has to call them, if we can see that on the manual. what that customer support does can be done even by my grandma. second attempt a different chap, I asked my question and wait a good 15-20mnts, Tyler was arrogant and short of answers. Actually it was like teaching me how ask questions properly other than helping my problem.

Traxxas Stampede VXL 2wd

Traxxas Stampede VXL 2wd, servo stripped in first 10 minutes. Bought upgraded servo, servo saver broke in 10 minutes. Bought replacement servo saver, and it broke while installing it.

Traxxas is complete garbage. Buy Arrma if you want an RC you don't have to fix literally every 10 minutes.

What a disappointment!!!!

Feb 2020 purchased stampede 4x4 vxl . What a money pit that traxxas just loves you for purchasing. It is may 2020. In 3 months i had to replace the esc, rear tires ripped, replaced! this truck breaks axle shafts every 4 minutes. Over $180.00 in axle shafts alone. from stock to the extreme heavy duty. In 3 months i have over $1000.00 in to this. It mad me so mad i threw it up against the wall and broke A arms then kicked it and threw it in the trash can. I have had enough. TRAXXAS...... never again will i purchase another. I feel you owe me an apology for misleading promo advertising. People !!! before you buy the expensive over rated TRAXASS brand, Look at other brands first!!!!

Chinese garbage

Like the title says. Low quality garbage RC made in China for super low price and sold in America at an astronomically inflated price. If you want a money pit with poor performance and low reliability, Traxxas is your choice.

This company is a scam

This company is a scam. It's a 100% rip off and the technical support should be ashamed of themselves. The spartan boat has a defect. There's YouTube videos showing the problem of water getting in it. They refuse to acknowledge the issue.i sent the boat back to them they told me it was fine and didn't even put it into water to test it. The most disrespectful customer support I've ever dealt with. Bottom line DONT DO BUSINESS WITH TRAXXAS!!!!!! warning rip off !!!

I bought a traxxas slash 1/16 4x4 on…

I bought a traxxas slash 1/16 4x4 on 1/5/2020. Worked great no concerns the first 5 uses. Then the steering servo started making a ratcheting that progressively got worse. I called traxxas and they sent out a gear set no charge, even though out of 30 day warranty. I replaced and shortly after it started doing it again. Called traxxas back and told them, zack said they would send out a new servo, no charge. Still out of warranty. I have never purchased a new rc car before and must say that if / whwn i do, it will be traxxas next time. Thank you

Great customer support

I purchased my 1st T-Maxx 2.5 nitro 4 weeks ago and after the engine was broken-in the truck kept blowing glow plugs constantly after running for about 5 mins and wasn't shifting to 2nd gear! I called technical support for assistance and spoke to Chris explained to him in-depth what was going on with my truck and i have to say he was very professional and courteous. After he made sure i was using the genuine Traxxas glow plugs as well as the recommended 20 percent nitro fuel he told me to go ahead and ship it back to them for repair.
P.S shipping was on the house. (Thumbs up for the great customer support).
Now this is where all the excitement starts as soon as they received my truck an email was sent to confirm the status and to inform me that they'll keep me posted as they further diagnose it. Four hours later i receive an email stating the following
1- engine was replaced as a courtesy
2- pipe was replaced as well and the transmission is now shifting properly.
This by far was an amazing experience. Thank you Chris and thanks for all the hard work provided by the technical support department.
Thanks Traxxas please keep the good work up!

Well bought my first and last car

Well bought my first and last car. Ran for one battery charge after that recharged, ran for 50ft stopped motor would not run. Called them, tech was very hazy about the problem. Had to hang up due to home problems. Called back later first thing you hung up on us. Bad Boy. After about twenty min was told to ship whole car back. Ended up shipping all elect items instead. Nothing wrong called back today, tech wanted to start all over, talked over me. Tried to get somewhere he then said had bad attitude. Gave up hung up no more will work it out on my end. Never will call them again or recommend there products. NEVER if a person is not happy don't

Junk

Junk, spent over $1,000 for a Rustler VXL and and Stampede just so I could be plug and play, NOPE! I can not run 1 battery without the axles breaking, 4 battery runs equalled 4 axles, I am not even running it hard, biggest mistake that I have ever made, good for you Traxxas! Ya got my money!

We just purchased our son the $239…

We just purchased our son the $239 Traxxas Slash and it has been a nightmare dealing with them. For one thing, this car DOES NOT include a standard wall charger, so there is NO WAY to use the product and charge it in your home without purchase of the additional “accessory,” which the company prices at $25 (as much or more than an Apple charger). The customer service rep rudely mansplained to me on the phone that their market research shows customers prefer AC chargers, which are only usable in certain vehicles. Really, sir? Anyway. We are purchasing the needed accessory through Amazon and never dealing with this company again.

Stay Away, Horrible Company

Horrible customer service. Rude and obnoxious on the phone. They will blame you for any defects in their products. I had one for 5 years and bought another of the same model. It broke while breaking it in. They only send parts even if they continually break indicating a larger problem. They will tell you there is no way they will ever refund or fix your vehicle and that it’s part of the hobby. I’ve been in the hobby and a truck that breaks within the first hour is defective. Apparently they don’t believe in any defects.
