We have had a Vango awning for our VW…
We have had a Vango awning for our VW Ocean campervan for 2 years and it has ripped a few times, which is disappointing given the price. Will look elsewhere next time.

Karen in customer service responded quickly to my awning problem and arranged for the awning to be returned.
We only had a 2 week window before we were away again.
Within 48 hours Beata emailed me with the offer of a brand new replacement awning to be shipped the following day. 1st class customer service.

Our Vango awning developed a problem and Karen in customer service was brilliant. All resolved very quickly and communication was first class. We have two Vango awnings (large and medium) and I will buy again when the time comes knowing the service level behind their products. Thanks again to Karen.

I contacted Vango after losing a part of the self inflating mattress we bought in 2023. I was enquiring where it would be possible to purchase spares. Vango completely exceeded my expectations by sending out the part in question, completely free of charge. That is exceptional customer care.

Ordered an ex display awning along with new carpet and lights. All arrived very quickly and well packaged. Awning like new, got the whole lot for half the price of a brand new awning and can use discount code from Caravan and Motorhome club or Caravan and Camping club too.
Will use again if need anything.
Air awning pumps only inflate and doesn’t deflate
Vango air awning cove low 2023 love the awning but it is totally bizarre y the air pump that u get with the awning that u can only inflate and it doesn’t deflate I mean wats the point so now I’ve got to go out and buy one that deflates as well as inflates wat a waste ov money, Vango u need to think your strategy for pumps it wouldnt cost u any more money to think ov your customers and sort the pumps out , save us money and the planet by stop wasting plastic cause the pump is pointless without deflation
Shangri-La II 10 Grande mat - Rubbish
I wasn’t able to leave a zero star review, otherwise I would have. Received the Shangri-La II 10 Grande ‘self-inflating’ mat as a Christmas present. Utterly useless. Quite ridiculous to say this self-inflates. It doesn’t, and is really hard/dizzying work to have to blow up. Further, it is almost banana shaped when blown up. I have video and photo evidence backing up both assertions. Rubbish product.

was having trouble sourcing a display of Vango awnings. Karen at customer services not only found a dealer with a display, but also arranged sending some fabric samples.
Ordered awning arrived in two days, no issues.

Love Vango Products - we’ve had our Stargrove since 2020 and had many successful family trips. This year we upgraded to the Ventanas and after researching other brands we kept coming back to Vango for their customer service and luxury feel to their tents.

Vango: Great products, excellent quality and they replaced my storm damaged awning over a year after I purchased it! They are STARS!
I've purchased Vango tents for many years, and when I switched to caravanning, I continued to use Vango, for awnings.
I've had quite a few over the years, and in 2022 I bought my second air awning.
It was great, fulfilled all my needs and was robust and elegant.
However, it was storm damaged (destroyed in fact) in the summer of 2023. I emailed the stockist I'd bought it from (Outdoor World - also brilliant!) with a description of the damage and a selection of pictures, and they liaised on my behalf with Vango, to see if they would offer discount against a replacement.
I had little hope, as I was honest about some pre-existing mildew caused I think by storing it in an
airtight plastic bag over the winter, but they weren't convinced that would have caused it to tear where it was actually torn in the storm, and so opened a case with Vango on my behalf.
I shipped the remains of the awning back to Vango (at their expense) and they inspected it accordingly.
I was over the moon when they then agreed to provide a replacement free of charge.
They could have easily blamed the aforementioned mildew, but they didn't take that easy way out, instead being honest and trustworthy - a rare quality in an organisation in these times of non face-to-face shopping!
I highly recommend them - their products are truly high quality, and if something does go wrong you can trust them to be responsible and honest in their appraisal and resulting action.
Customer service total contrast to the accessory shop
After a lot of email tennis and being fobbed off by the accessories supplier I bought my porch awning from they finally agreed to send it to Vango for their assessment under warranty. It was shipped to Glasgow and I left it a few weeks to give them chance to deal with it before ringing them to get an update. The customer service agent Karen was really easy to speak to and very helpful. She got back to me later that day after looking into it and informed me it was unrepairable and they would replace it FOC. I agreed and 2 days later the replacement arrived.
Customer service like this doesn't deserve the bad scores from some of the reviews on here so credit where it's due

After using our vango stargrove tent…
After using our vango stargrove tent twice one of the poles shattered. We went back to the suppliers of the tent who told us that the tent needed to be sent away to vango for a review. Vango came back to us and said that they no longer supply poles and we would need to get one from vango spares at our cost. Given that the tent cost us £400 we expected that the poles should last longer than 2 uses. The tent itself was great and was exactly what we wanted for our trips away but the customer service was very poor and would put me off ever purchasing any vango products again.
