Bought a Miu Miu bag for around €1000 that was described as “new”. What I received was a bag with visibly worn corners and a worn bottom — clearly not new condition. On top of that, instead of the original pink Miu Miu dust bag shown in the seller’s photos, I received some cheap white non-original dust bag.

At first, they even refused my return request. After multiple messages, they finally accepted it — but now I still have to wait up to a week for them to “inspect” everything again, and only after that wait again for my refund.

Their “experts” apparently cannot distinguish a white dust bag from the original pink one shown in the listing photos. They also cannot recognize that worn suede, damaged corners, and a worn bottom do not equal “new condition”.
What makes this even worse is that not only could they not see that the bag had clearly been used — judging by all four worn corners and the worn bottom — but they initially refused my refund request despite the dust bag being completely different from the original one shown in the listing.

The photos clearly showed an original pink Miu Miu boutique dust bag. What I received instead was a cheap white paper dust bag that does not even exist for this brand.

Nice selection of clothes, but I found the same dress on Far Fetched for quite a bit less- they also ship more quickly, so I think you need to see what other sites are doing before you post an item.

Unserious buyers - confirm a purchase but then don’t buy.
My items are not displayed (no views) unless I price them very low, based on suggested price yet if I look up the same item by other sellers they’re priced high.

Purchased these shoes last November at what I thought it was a good price but I could not used them because it was winter. Spring started and it was time to wear my amazing Prada shoes, went out to shopping in the city and quickly I started to feel sticky. I saw the shoe sole and it was literally melting. I had to go back home and contacted immediately to customer service, they asked me for photos, mentioned for them it was something very serious and that I should return the item. Today I received the confirmation that after a revision the shoes are supposedly authentic which basically is they implying than now Prada produces shoes that can melt after a walk. INSANE, they won’t return my money. Also, I have purchased from them many times before and now I feel everything I got through Vestiaire, although is a fortune, is fake. AVOID THIS SITE at all costs!!!

I attempted to purchase this item on a competing website, but their payment system malfunctioned. The purchase and verification took just over a week.

I missed the first FEDEX delivery attempt, but waas able to reroute it to a local pickup site.

Vestiaire failed to identify what appears to be a high-quality counterfeit and then refused to take responsibility. They still refused to refund me despite evidence provided.

I bought a Prada bag which was later checked by two independent third-party authentication platforms. Both concluded that the bag is not authentic. However, Vestiaire still insists it is genuine. I highly doubt their ability to identify high-quality counterfeit. You will be

Customer service has been almost useless: slow replies, generic responses, and simply repeating their internal authentication result instead of properly addressing the evidence I provided.

This is especially worrying with high-quality counterfeits, because consumers are in a very vulnerable position. The details that reveal a counterfeit are often difficult for ordinary buyers to identify, and tp authentication platforms usually do not disclose technical details publicly to avoid helping counterfeit manufacturers improve their products.

They charge significant fees, but in my experience customers are not properly protected when things go wrong.
