Poor advice. Wrong diagnosis. Inconsistent advice from vets. Really poor. I won't use again unless I really have no other choice.

Pet Care Advice
Customer Hub
Pet emergencies can happen at any time – including when your regular vet is closed.
That’s why our nationwide network of out-of-hours pet emergency clinics are open through the night, at weekends and on bank holidays, so we’re ready and waiting to provide expert pet emergency care when your regular vet is having some time off.
Our pet emergency clinics are the pet equivalent of A&E and our purpose is to give you and your pet the care and support you deserve, at the time you need it most, whether it’s four in the morning or in the middle of Sunday lunch.
Vets Now provides this trusted service to more than 1000 veterinary practices across the UK — from over 60 dedicated out-of-hours clinics and two 24/7 pet emergency hospitals. In total, we treat around 200,000 small animals every year — our highly-skilled team works hard throughout the night, weekends and Bank Holidays. So whether you’re in Aberdeen, Belfast or Portsmouth we’re there for you and your pet when you need us most.
We’ve also pioneered other ways to help pets, pet owners and the veterinary profession, such as our comprehensive referrals service and providing our staff with industry-leading training and development opportunities. We also support the pet blood transfusion charity, Pet Blood Bank UK. Meanwhile, our two hospitals — in Glasgow and Manchester — are home to some of the UK’s leading specialists in the field of emergency and critical care and provide care 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

From booking in at reception to the nurses and vet, all absolutely fantastic, listened to everything we said, from our dogs fear of strangers to strange environments to the problem we rushed her in for, she was taken straight to a room and canulated and settled down on a lovely rug. Can't fault the emergency care we were given. Thank you from us all

During our time of worry, all the staff were amazing and very reassuring and helpful. The vet we saw was so calming, and treated us all with the upmost of respect.

The vets at vets now have saved
My beautiful little dachshunds life, she was stung by a bee and went into anaphylaxis shock. I found her collapsed on my lawn. They were marvellous and saved her life, I will be forever great full. Xxxxx

Whilst I’m so grateful and glad that an emergency vets exists in times and hours of need, I can honestly say I’m hugely disappointed in the level of care, compassion and service I received.
Tried to turn me away when I needed to take my poorly cat in the middle of the night, showed no interest or compassion for the situation at all. Eventually agreed that I could join the queue to wait to be seen but I thought it was strange I couldn’t be with her whilst she was receiving treatment. Sent me away with no answers, some medication & a large bill. I called 3 days later once the medication course had finished to express my concerns that I didn’t really see much improvement, I was only given the option to pay their extortionate fee again for reassessment as it had been more than 24 hours since the last visit, or request a call back from a vet for more professional advice/opinions. I chose to request a call back 1st…… 24 hours later and I never received a single call.
Clearly they care more about grabbing every penny possible from people who are concerned about their pets than actually providing a decent level of care!!
EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED

After a traumatic few days with my dog being in agony after anal gland issue, I was at my wits end. I was treated kindly with respect and excellent knowledgeable help for my poorly dog. It was very busy and waiting times exceeded 4 hours for some. That said, they were working flat out and competently were seeing pets as quickly as possible. An expensive trip but you will do and pay anything to stop your pet suffering.

I would recommend Vets Now to everybody that has a poorly pet. They were absolutely brilliant with my puppy. Ringing every day to tell me how she was. We were allowed to go and spend time with her every day. I got photos on WhatsApp. The vets, nurses and the reception were brilliant nothing was to much for them. Thank you so much for all your help

I was referred by my vet after my Labrador suffered a horrible injury to his throat. I have never experienced such quality service and real empathy towards my beloved Alfie. He spent 2 days and nights at the hospital and was constantly under loving care with a twice daily update from the surgeon. Thank you all so much for your incredible help and belive it or not Alfie treated the visit like a holiday and almost didn't want to come home.
