Vets Now provides this trusted service to more than 1000 veterinary practices across the UK — from over 60 dedicated out-of-hours clinics and two 24/7 pet emergency hospitals. In total, we treat around 200,000 small animals every year — our highly-skilled team works hard throughout the night, weekends and Bank Holidays. So whether you’re in Aberdeen, Belfast or Portsmouth we’re there for you and your pet when you need us most.
We’ve also pioneered other ways to help pets, pet owners and the veterinary profession, such as our comprehensive referrals service and providing our staff with industry-leading training and development opportunities. Staff were all very attentive but my dog was clearly still not well when discharged after a full day stay there and should have been kept overnight .I had to go again to the emergency vet the following day . Very distressing time for my dog and myself .

Good friendly advice and a very good veterinary surgeon
My dog had blood in her poo so I didn’t want to risk leaving till the Monday. After a thorough examination nothing serious was found so it was piece of mind for me
Not the cheapest visit. Cost me £302 just for the consultation because it was a Saturday.
Worth it though.

Within an hour and a half
Within an hour and a half, having phoned out of hours, explained what the emergency was, driving to the vet practice and having been treated and made well again, I can only say a massive thank you to the team. I can only praise the efficiency and quality of care given to my pet.The triage vet nurse was amazing and so was the vet and treated us with respect.

Good care and treatment
The vets and the nurses were very thorough and explained everything well. They saved my rabbit.
Only downside is how expensive the out of hours care and treatment is.

Very money grabbing vet
Very money grabbing vet. Care more about money than the animal. My dog had a big opp on the Monday and was in a great deal of pain by the evening as the pain killer had worn off. . I went to this vets and they charged me £325 for a £4 painkiller injection. The following evening my dog was distressed again as the pain killer had worn off so I phoned Vets Now for another pain killer injection for her and was told if I had called within the 24hr period I would not be charged again for another consultation, but because I was half an hour later calling, they stated they would charge me another £300 plus pounds for another £4 pain killer injection. The nurse i spoke to would not relent. Obviously money is their priority not the animals welfare.

Needed a vet out of hours went to vets now viking waySwansea.we were seen by the triage nurse Ronnie who was fantastic benji the cat had an abscess on his face the nurse cleaned the wound and drained it she also advised me what to do when we got home.The service received was excellent benji adored her.can’t fault the care we were given very happy client very happy cat.

Excellent service, helpful staff
Very helpful staff who provided reassurance in a stressful situation. Dai the cocker was attacked by another dog in the evening & I was also bitten. They checked him over for my reassurance & even gave me an ice pack for my hand before I went to A&E. Thank you very much for your help, we both appreciate it.
