The amount I had to pay! And I had to wait to be seen other non paying people were seen before me. But especially the price it does not warrant what was done for my cat.

Rang to book efficient staff on phone. Seen super quick nice vet and receptionist.
Expensive but they do advise of initial cost before on the phone.

Booked an out of hours appointment. Paid £700 for a 20 minute consultation. No blood test, not sure they even checked my Black Labrador’s temperature, sent us home stating everything is fine and that is normal. My dog died the following morning. Absolutely devastated.

The vet was clear
The nurse was kind
The overall experience was positive

For me personally, it was a regrettable loss of almost £500 because I had thought my dog had eaten a painkiller. 💊
The next day I discovered he hadn’t.

The service was great but I feel ridiculous (my bad)

What might be worth considering
In a busy night time service with many calls - asking a customer who has serious anxiety issues and states them “Are you absolutely certain he ate the pill? Do you want to check in the room?”
By the time Mr Google and the call was made… the customer was in full on “let’s sort this” mode. Nothing done badly but maybe better MH awareness training for the next customer?

Incredibly poor service on Monday 9th September. We had a late evening emergency in Swansea with our Cocker Spaniel who had eaten sugar free chewing gum (highly toxic to dogs). Called our vet...got diverted to Vets Now...oh sorry, due to staff shortages you'll need to go to Newport. Simply unacceptable, get a locum to cover! Managed to get seen by another vet in Swansea. Ditching our current vet immediately along with...Vets Now.

The vet we saw was lovely and helpful.
Lady on the desk was also lovely.
However, the price of out of hours vet is scandalous ! Double the normal vet fee.
I feel we’re being penalised over and over.
Shocking and sickening.

from phone call to discharge, Daisy and I was treated promptly and with compassion.
Expert advice was given and Daisy's condition has improved.

I was happy with the greeting from the staff and the vet was excellent
My only issue was at the end for payment. We were putting the bill through our insurance company but paid up front and would claim it back The way the receptionist said that I had to pay for admin fee to our insurers but I was led to believe that this was compulsory and your team would liaise with my insurer to save me. I then found out the day after there was no need for me to pay £28.00 as it was something I could have done myself. I only had to get the invoice pull off my insurance form get it signed by Pdsa and send it off. As it was I still had to send your team my insurance form anyone so I could have missed out the middleman and did all myself

very professional and busy vet but making sure you are welcome, and your pet looked after we'll. Staff do nit forget that's our pets are our "children" and taking care about people in a Vat as well.

From the phone call to seeing the staff was excellent and nothing was to much

They treated my dog the best way they could made his comfortable for a while

I phoned as my elderly Rottweiler was dying, I first spoke to the receptionist who advised me to get my dog to the surgery which was a 30 minute drive, I explained that she was a large elderly Rottweiler, she then said get the dog to the vets and started telling me the prices, she then got the vet to phone me, he asked what colour was her gums I explained that her gums and tongue was white, he said bring her in so they can give her oxygen, it felt like they were not listening and they were out for the money, I would have paid anything for a vet to come out as we were at a loss, luckily my wife is a nurse and recognised the symptoms of my dog dying, my dog passed away half an hour later after the phone call in her bed peacefully at home with me and my wife cuddling her, not in the back of my car trying to get to Swansea causing stress to my dog in her last few minutes just to give her oxygen, Now changing vets to one that does not use this company, we had her cremated at sleepy hollow who are very sympathetic and caring
