The friendliness and efficiency of the crew was unexpected. I knew that they would be cordial but all of them were over the top genuinely accomodating.

Great: Food, staff, entertainment.
Could be improved: Organization of Niagara Falls excursion. Guide was not clear on directions and his commentary was limited. We were on the afternoon outing and waited 90 minutes in line for getting on the boat.

The staff was outstanding, everyone! The food was delicious and consistent. The entertainment was world class. Our cabin was extremely clean and taken care of everyday. And the captain and his staff professional with an emphasis on safety.

A Victory Cruise Lines cruise is the perfect experience. The itineraries are awesome where you're visiting some iconic American and Canadian ports as well as being on the wonderful Great Lakes. The ships are just the right size, the cabins very comfortable, the service is second to none and the food is wonderful with varied menus. We sailed on July 25, 2026 from Toronto to Chicago on Victory 1 and would do it again in a minute. The nightly entertainment was very professional and the music played was perfect for the passengers. The laid back and relaxed atmosphere suited us just fine. The excursions were well planned easy to navigate and the on board lakelorian was very knowledgeable. Our thanks to Captain Marius and his crew for a wonderful cruise.

Niagra Falls:
It would have been better if you had enough buses to accommodate guests for the morning trip to the Falls.
In addition to the local guide, Sabrina, should also go on the bus to help organize and direct guests at the Falls.

The staff was incredible. They anticipated every need and accommodated any request or question. They all worked so hard and were perpetually cheerful.
The food was absolutely delicious.
I loved the diversity of the crew and managers. So fun to talk with.

Food was great to good, service was excellent. Everyone was friendly and helpful, and smiling! The ship was an older one, but the most was made of it. Also the sole elevator being broken for multiple days was difficult for those who had trouble walking. Overall a great experience. Larry

The staff is remarkable.
So are the excursions and delicious meals.

First time on a small ship and we loved it. The service was exceptional as was the food. Excursions were good but did not care for Rock and Roll museum. It was too crowded and way too noisy but we may be showing our age with that one. All in all had a great time with some old and many new friends.

The cruise was wonderful, relaxing and enjoyable. I am so happy that I chose Victory Cruise Lines. I have never been on a ship with a crew so accommodating. My mom is 95 and we went to Niagara Falls. She is only capable of walking short distances so we brought her transport chair along with us to get down to the boat. Crew member, Robert, assisted us the whole way. If he hadn't been there, neither my mom nor I would have been able to make it down to the boat and transfer back to the bus. My cabin steward, Manuel, was the best and made sure that our cabin was cleaned, organized and comfortable. In addition, he made sure I had ice every night. The dining staff was efficient, professional and delightful. Our server, Samuel, went out of his way to ensure that we had a superior dining experience and beverage staff, Nancy and Sarah, took care to remember our choices of beverages and provided them each day before we even asked. I can't say enough about this cruise line and I am grateful that our travel agent presented them to us.

Everyone we met were very helpful, patient and kind. Micki the cruise director really made our week by working with her superiors who graciously allowed us to bring some family on board to enjoy the ship in Cleveland. They even allowed our guests to enjoy lunch on board! Our 3-year-old grandson especially loved the "orange ice cream". Two other people I would like to call out. Our room (411) attendant Agnello made our room clean and welcoming and supplied my favorite dark chocolate nightly. Edward our restaurant server and both my wife and I really bonded during our time eating. He is a gem. He is hard working and was able to fulfill all our culinary whims.

The service and food was exceptional. The excursion were perfect for the area. The entertainment was fantastic. Downfall was the size of the shower.
Wish they did other areas in the lower states and we would book again.

The Victory experience is wonderful! The staff is both delightful and professional. Always greeting you with a smile! 😊 The meals offer a nice variety of choices. Meeting the needs of those with dietary concerns. And appropriate portion sizes.

The Great Lakes cruise was well planned. The staff were well prepared, and served us well.
The food was excellent, with cuisine from the Great Lakes region, and well prepared. Wine and juices included in the meals, with good selections.
The included excursions were excellent choices, with great guides. I learned new things about these places, with great exposure to them. Cultural items were part of the experience.

The staff, crew, and tour guides are all great. The food portion size, for me, was good and kept me from overeating. The menu selection limits were a little disappointing. The wines were okay, but you had a limited supply of certain selections. I was hoping for a more regional wine and beer selection. I know you can't please everyone, and I am not trying to be critical of your line. Yes, I would recommend this cruise to some of my friends.

The food was above my expectations, with tender meats and excellent use of herbs and spices. Variety of menu items was good. Cabin steward was reliably helpful and very friendly. Cabins were very small for two-person occupancy but had more than enough storage space. Speaker was knowledgeable. The entertainers played music WAY TOO LOUD. We may be old but we're not deaf yet.

Clearly the staff and the food were both top notch. Special recognition to Mariano the Hotel Manager. The on board entertainment (other than the musicians who were terrific) was a little thin: no yoga, no trivia, no mahjong for example. In the future please advise your guests beginning in Chicago to fly into Midway airport rather than ORD. From ORD the ride to the Navy Pier was 90 minutes and $100. Midway would have been much better.
