The Great Lakes cruise was well planned. The staff were well prepared, and served us well.
The food was excellent, with cuisine from the Great Lakes region, and well prepared. Wine and juices included in the meals, with good selections.
The included excursions were excellent choices, with great guides. I learned new things about these places, with great exposure to them. Cultural items were part of the experience.

The staff, crew, and tour guides are all great. The food portion size, for me, was good and kept me from overeating. The menu selection limits were a little disappointing. The wines were okay, but you had a limited supply of certain selections. I was hoping for a more regional wine and beer selection. I know you can't please everyone, and I am not trying to be critical of your line. Yes, I would recommend this cruise to some of my friends.

The food was above my expectations, with tender meats and excellent use of herbs and spices. Variety of menu items was good. Cabin steward was reliably helpful and very friendly. Cabins were very small for two-person occupancy but had more than enough storage space. Speaker was knowledgeable. The entertainers played music WAY TOO LOUD. We may be old but we're not deaf yet.

Clearly the staff and the food were both top notch. Special recognition to Mariano the Hotel Manager. The on board entertainment (other than the musicians who were terrific) was a little thin: no yoga, no trivia, no mahjong for example. In the future please advise your guests beginning in Chicago to fly into Midway airport rather than ORD. From ORD the ride to the Navy Pier was 90 minutes and $100. Midway would have been much better.

This was a great experience from beginning to end. The staff was very friendly and caring. The crew went over and above to help my husband and I celebrate a big anniversary. The food was wonderful and the dining room service was exceptional.

The ports of call were very good. The included excursion gave a good glimpse of the character of the port being visited and the Henry Ford Museum and Rock and Roll Hall of Fame were great.

The rooms were well equipped, if not a bit small. But that is because they have to fit through particular size locks. Our cabin steward was the best, and our room was always immaculate.

I would highly recommend this cruise. Everyone, from the Captain to the entire rest of the crew were wonderful hosts.

The Victory 2 cruise ship was wonderful. The staff was super nice and helpful making the cruise super amazing. The excursions, the food, the entertainment was fantastic. I really enjoyed the craft sessions! We made journals, sea glass pendants, and did decoupage shells. I loved my cruise of the Great Lakes!

Great food, good entertainment, good excursions.

The staff on the boat were great. Good thought and planning were put into the excursions and itinerary. On this cruise, weather did not allow us to proceed to our final docking in Chicago. I thought the Captain and cruise handled it as best as it could.

This is my 1st time on the Victory cruise line. What I thought was most spectacular was the fine dining food, helpful staff and the included onshore excursions, which most cruises charge an arm and a leg for. Oh yes, the 1 day prior covered hotel was certainly a treat!

Shower was especially awkward. It’s a safety issue. Food was fine; servers were especially good.

If I had any suggestions it would be for the excursions in that some of the stops we made especially Niagara Falls I wish we would have had more time to spend there. I do realize that everything is on a time frame

Everyone was kind and courteous and willing to do whatever to make sure you were having a great cruise.

Service, food, entertainment

The service from staff was outstanding! The food was awesome! And the excursions were very interesting!!

Very personable staff. Food was great. Shower was small, it the accommodations were very adequate.

The staff on the Victory II was amazing. We had never had such care and attention. In particular, much thanks to Rahmat in the Coastal Dining room. He went above and beyond taking care of us. We miss him!
