What right does a Radiologist at Singleton hospital have to determine that my wife's scan is not urgent when our GP has requested an URGENT scan. Formal complaint made and solicitor will be requesting the Radiologists name!

Unreliable when retrieving sent…

Unreliable when retrieving sent messages, you may have notifications that a message has been sent from the app, but you cant access the message on the phone. 1st you log into the NHS APP, then you log inti the Wales NHS APP, which directs you to the Patients Know Best App, pantomime when you compare it to our English friends, 1 click does it all. I shudder to think what this App cost to develop and introduce, whoever is responsible should give their head a wobble

Having visited North Wales for a week

Having visited North Wales for a week, my wife had forgotten some medication, so visited a local pharmacy asking if she could her home pharmacy could sent a prescription through to pick up there. She was immediately told no we dont deal with England! nor Scotland.Wha t sort of nonsence is that, aren,t we all one Country ignoring the silly devolution aspect. It was only because one of the staff heard and stated she would sort it for her,but there appeared also to be some negative responses from the English surgery reception about doing it. It did eventually get sorted, but this needs some positive procedure when this happens as it must do on occasions.

I have been waiting nearly 2year for an appt to see someone about my knee I received an appt for the 26/08 to see Mr Vedran Curckovic at 1.50pm, Today I have received in 3 separate envelopes ( 3 lots of postage) a letter cancelling my appt on the 26/08 at 1.50pm, then a letter with a new appt for the 26/08 at 1.50pm, then a further letter, cancelling an appt on the 26/08 at 1.50pm. At the end of it all I still don’t have an appt it is a good job I am not booking an ambulance car to get there and with the NHS in a bad way we could save a little in time wasting ,stationary, and postage my hospital number is M6020007 , my name is Ms Barbara Tazzini.

Useless

Useless! Tried joining NHS Wales App but couldn't enter my NHS number as it's an old 6 digit one! Guess what- to find your new 10 number they tell you to go to the NHS Wales App! Argh! Means having to phone a GP to get my repeat prescription or visit a surgery and, like so many people in Mid Wales, that means a car journey. Most irritatingly of all, there was an option to tick to say I didn't know my number, but as I didn't tick it I had to start the application all over again, only to be told I needed a film of my face and legal photographic evidence of same, or a GP letter. Crazy!

The NHS wales app is absolutely useless…

The NHS wales app is absolutely useless and ineffective, there are never any appointments showing as available despite my surgery' releasing them. I have checked daily since this new app was launched. The previous MyHealth online worked perfectly.. I have to goback to dropping off paper copy of my repeat at surgery as not ally meds are listed as available and have to phone for appointments, this is a massive step backwards. why does the Welsh Assembly mess up a perfectly good system by replacing myhealthonline app with this useless one that does not work.

NHS Wales App is not fit for purpose.

I haven't required a GP appt for 7 years. This January I developed chronic joint pain but, having no faith in the NHS, I self diagnosed my problem and decided to self medicate with painkillers in the (forlorn) hope the condition would go away of its own accord.

5 months on, with my life effectively on hold owing to the debilitating condition, I reluctantly decided a face to face GP appt was required but not as an emergency. The practice website advises patients to phone the surgery for an appt. Great, or so I thought. Got through after 20 mins to be told by the receptionist that I could only book appts through the NHS Wales app and I could only find available appts if I checked it 8 - 8.30 a.m. Also "it might be necessary to persevere" every day. Well, as I had no 'smart' devices I had to buy a Smartphone just for this purpose. Registering on the app was ok but only after a lot of palaver.

That was 6 weeks ago and I check the app every a.m 7.55-8.30. It purportedly gives a choice of: 1. three different practices 2. different doctors (only one name has ever appeared for the 3 practices) 3. choice of appts for injections, telephone or general. 4. choice of appt period eg. one day, tomorrow, this week, this month...up to 16 wks away. Great. Sounds good. Would be if there were ever any entries in any of the categories. Apparently, there are never any available appts even within the next 16 wks (?).

There would appear to be a black hole of GPs but plenty of receptionists to send patients round in circles. The system doesn't work and patients are suffering needlessly. Of course it works 100% if the intention is to prevent patients from seeing doctors altogether.

My Health Online Worked, Why Change It?

In Wales we have been using My Health Online, which worked well (for me) for repeat prescriptions. Now we have to register with the NHS and provide identity checks.

It would help if the NHS system worked and you are able to send a video recording. All that is displayed is a blank black/grey image that, quite clearly, will not pass any security check. (Mind you this is the NHS!).

I have spoken to the surgery who confirmed that other patients have had the same problem. As a result the repeat prescription was done through the surgery.

NHS login is a separate service you need to use to log into the NHS Wales App. So you have to log in on one system to log in onto another system.

And the NHS wonders why it is seen as a complete shambles and the cost of incompetence has to be eye-watering.

Useless

Useless

Over the last 12 months it's worked once. Every time there are vital repeat prescriptions missing from the app so end up having to phone them into the chemist or taking an hour's round trip to put them in as they often don't answer the phone.... The app is a joke.

App is an absolute sham

Ordering my repeat prescription online was so convenient, the NHS Wales app is a joke, keeps logging me out, my prescription repeat order has not worked, this after it took me almost 2 hours, for it to recognise who I was. Will have to ring my surgery in morning.
