Wickes - Crewe Reviews 

Went in with my wife and was talking to her when one of their very kind sales assistants called Shane overheard and then guided us to exactly what we needed.
He then proceeded to help us for the whole of the items that were needed to redecorate our bathroom right back from plasterboard. His knowledge was superb and here's a credit to the store

We were recommended to get a kitchen from Wickes by a couple of friends.

When we visited the showroom at Crewe we were greeted by a lovely women who explained everything, she was such a great help.

Our free design appointment was made with Douggie who came out to measure up and then our new kitchen idea was born, with just a few minor changes the plans were complete.

It was with the greatest luck that an amazing kitchen fitter team, Andy and Ethan (AC Property Enhancements), had a last minute cancellation and they could start in a months time.

These guys really knew their stuff and with Wickes the project was organised with military precision, and their skill level was obvious.

Within a month the project was complete and we now have a fantastic kitchen which was fitted perfectly.

Everyone was so pleasant and helpful at Crewe. Amber and Mia came with us and helped us choose the correct light and bulb we needed. When we had to return and exchange for new purchase nothing was too much trouble.

Max measured up my bathroom and advised me in the design, Doug took over the process and then Nathan led the installation. My house is 1930s and needs quite a bit of updating. I am single female and I have not had the best experience with some contractors but the Wickes Crewe team were faultless professionals every step of the way. Especially Nathan the installer... absolutely top bloke and could not recommend high enough!! Really knows what he is doing and looks out for clients best interests.

Wickes Crewe have generously provided two water butts and accessories for Brine Leas Forest School, and we are incredibly grateful for their support. These will make a huge difference to our outdoor learning area, helping us manage excess water and enabling us to use the space throughout the year. Last year, parts of the area became flooded and too muddy to use, so this donation will have a lasting positive impact on our pupils' experiences.

A special thank you to James, who has been fantastic throughout the process. He was quick to respond, incredibly helpful, and an absolute pleasure to deal with. His support and excellent customer service made everything so easy.

From start to finish Andrew Critchley was excellent, helped us pick our new bathroom, even put up with me changing my mind several times! Our fitter Nathan and his son, were excellent, clean tiday, and do quick.

From start to finish I was so impressed with the service, Andy who designed my kitchen listened to all my requests and was patient as I made decisions. He made sure he gave me options for my budget and overall designed my perfect kitchen. My installer was Jamie Buxton who was honestly 20/10, he worked so hard each day, was clean and tidy, and was a perfectionist which I loved!! I can't praise him enough, and honestly would of paid him double of what he charged if I had it!! Definitely a 5🌟 from start to finish! Thanks so much Andy and Jamie

We visited the Crewe Wickes store on 3/09/26 at 18.45 to place an order for kitchen unit items. We approached Shane who was extremely helpful. We had a number of queries and quite a substantial order to place, Shane was very patient and gave advice where needed. He was very knowledgable. It was approaching closing time whilst we were there but Shane never made us feel rushed. He was also dealing with the supervision of a new member of staff. His customer service remained exceptional. Thank you Shane.

They have very generously donated wood for our students to use to make birdhouses, helping us to provide a practical, hands-on project that develops students’ skills while also supporting our work around nature and the environment.

We are very fortunate to have Wickes Crewe as our local store. The staff are always extremely friendly, helpful and knowledgeable, and nothing ever seems too much trouble. They are happy to offer advice, answer questions and help you find exactly what you need.

There is always a really good range of stock available in store too, which makes such a difference when you’re in the middle of a job!

I had my bathroom designed and installed by Wickes and I honestly am thrilled with the results! There was good communication between the installer and I and it was amazing to see the computer print out become real life. It looks so much better in real life. Andy was absolutely amazing from start to finish designing my kitchen. He offered ideas and thoughts where things might and might not work, excellent at his job and takes pride in all of his work.

David Williams the kitchen fitter was incredible, professional and understanding, took the time to explain things and went out of his way to make sure the kitchen was perfect once finished.

Cannot recommend Wickes enough, especially if you get Andy and David on your kitchen, you’ll be incredibly satisfied with the result.

Excellent bathroom designer so why am I only giving 2 stars? The bathroom was ordered in May, customer told it was a 2 month wait and then told that it would be installed in November! When I protested that this was 6 months, there was no apology, I was just told that they hadn’t realised there would be such a demand. And yet the famous property developer still continues to advertise for them. Wickes, your post order service is dreadful.

Doug of the Crewe store designed my kitchen, he listened to my needs as well as anticipated needs I had not even considered. He listened and answered all my questions with patience and knowledge. He showed me around the showroom and talked me through the items he had picked out giving me the opportunity to change anything, I swapped out the tap on the kitchen sink for a boiling water tap and that is it! Everything else was just what I needed and I love it!

Matt the fitter was absolutely brilliant too. He arrived on time or let me know he was running late. He answered the many questions I had no matter how trivial they were, he talked me through every step and advised of any changes needed to make the kitchen work how I wanted it to. He tidied up everyday before he left and to top it all off he has cracking taste in music.

After being recommended by a work colleague we decided to go with Wickes at Crewe for our new kitchen.
We had our plans drawn up by Andrew in store and after a couple of changes had our final draft. Nothing was too much trouble for him.
The kitchen fitters we had were Andy & Ethan who came out to us a couple of months before the refit. Ideas and suggestions were made which suited us to make our kitchen that bit more special.
The work was carried out as promised to an exceptionally high standard and at the end of each day everywhere was left thoroughly clean, considering the work that was being carried out.
At the end of the project our kitchen more than met our expectations due to Andrew (in store) and the fitters Andy & Ethan, who i wouldn't hesitate in recommending to others.

Dougie lovely man unfortunately not clear when I booked, wickes only.do full bathroom refurbishment. Waste of my time and dougies. I needed shower cubicle changed and radiator moved. With new panels and flooring in large bathroom. Please make it clear on website you only cover full bathroom refurbishment.

Shane is literally the best! I have no idea what I am doing when it comes to DIY! I’d ordered online then realised I needed some other things so went into store. Shane remembered my order and informed me for what I was doing I had the wrong things ( thought I had adhesive and it wasn’t!) . He took the time to go round the store helping me pick out what I needed, then carried it to my car and explained to me ( in a non patronising way) what I needed to do. I had to go back again today and he was just as helpful as the first visit! For someone who has just started getting into DIY, Shane has been brilliant with giving me advice! Thanks so much!!!

Went to the store spoke to the operational manager called Dean. Pleasant polite very good customer service. Nothing was too much went above and beyond to help us. Thankyou dean thankyou from michelle and Carmen.

Having used Wickes previously for a new kitchen we decided to go with them again for our new home. Andy Critchley was very helpful and informative, as was the lady (Dawn?) working alongside him, showing us different designs and colour schemes.
Andy and Ethan Cain were the fitters we were assigned and we cannot recommend them highly enough. They advised on flooring, heating etc and were so professional. Ethan does the majority of the work and he is such a skilled tradesman - he can turn his hand to everything. He is respectful, friendly and possibly the most passionate tradesman in the business. Ethan always left the house clean and tidy and would give us a run down on the work completed that day and what plans were in place for the following day.
