Chris was amazing this morning when he saw me struggling to carry a 25kg bag of salt - with no hesitation he came and helped me and also without asking offered to put the item on my car. Well done Wickes for employing caring staff - I sont always experience this ….

Great service but staff appear short handed
Wickes Guildford have a push on getting reviews and Gemma on checkout requested this. They were excellent, as was the person they got to help me find an item. However, they all need help. Gemma was dealing very professionally with a person on phone hold, a queue at checkout and me asking for help because there was no-one else to be seen.
If you want to keep your staff happy you need more of them.

I went into Guildford to buy some materials
I went into Guildford to buy some materials for a job. A young man called Chris helped me to find exactly what I was looking for and when it came to leaving the store Chris also assisted me with loading my vehicle, he was very polite and professional a true asset to the company. Very good customer service.
