Beware of this company if you have a problem with your purchase. They sell on the 2 big selling companies .If you tell them your item didnt work they dont like it and you have a problem getting a return e mail.I sent photos to show my item was not working and eventually they gave me a return label. When they got the item back they said their engineers had tested it and it worked and charged me the postage as they said it was working.Companies like this are really nice untill something goes wrong

I bought a Palmrest off ebay for my Sony Vaio SVF152A29M laptop.
The item arrived with a little damage and not the same part as photographed. More foil used rather than the metal plates pictured.
The worst thing was that the keyboard is not backlit as per standard specification and needed by me. No mention in the description or title as other sellers do and the picture is unclear, not that I would have known what to look for either. It took quite a long time to fit the part and I only realised there was no keyboard backlight when all put back together. Hopefully others in a similar situation will see my review and be forewarned. Wikiparts were not at all helpful when I called them and the unchanged listings remain misleading.

Problems made easy!!!

Ordered a laptop screen from these guys via Amazon as I had broken my own by stupidly leaving my earphones on the keyboard when I closed the laptop. Replacement arrived really quick but unfortunately it had been damaged in transit. Posted a query on Amazon and received an e mail from Wikiparts in less than an hour. Arranged to return damaged screen. They received it on the Tuesday and I had a replacement back by the Thursday afternoon. Every
e mail I sent was answered almost immediately. Hopefully I wont break any more screens but if I do I'll be contacting these guys again. Brilliant service!

Avoid by all means, unreliable and misleading!

This company has ebay branch that sells laptop screens under the name: wikiparts-screens.

I had horrible experience with them! I was looking for a high gamut screen because i wanted to upgrade the screen on my ThinkPad.

After some researching, I found high gamut screen model that is supported by my laptop.
Next step was to find a genuine, exact part, as lot of sellers ship “compatible replacements” of low quality.

Finally I found a screen at wikiparts-screens, and asked them is it exact part, genuine one and NOT replacement. They responded and they said it is exact part, and not to worry.

I asked them again, explaining that any other screen but exact genuine part is unacceptable for me, and if they ship “compatible replacement” I will return the item and will give them a negative feedback - they again replied not to worry, as they have exact part.

Knowing that the screen I was looking for is indeed hard to find, I asked again if they are sure it is exact, genuine part, I wrote the model of the screen again for them to check just for case - they replied for the third time saying that they do have original exact model.

So I made the order and 2-3 days later I received the package. I was excited, becouse high gamut screen is really important to me for my work.

I opened the package, and I checked the screen model on the back on the screen and what a dissapointment - they shipped me a WRONG screen! Completely different model that is NOT high gamut screen, it was the screen with really bad specifications, so I had to return it.

When I complained, reminding them about our message exchange where they confirmed 3 times that they have the EXACT part, they simply replied that they sent me an “compatible replacement”... so had to return the item and pay for shipping.

Horrible, horrible, horrible!

Avoid by all means, apsolutly unreliable and misleading!
