Wix has been a solid platform for getting our business website online and keeping it manageable as we grow. It gives us enough flexibility to present the company professionally without needing a full-time web developer. We are still refining our site and connecting it with our other business systems, but overall it has been a useful tool for a small service business.

This company is trying to charge me for renewal after their services have been discontinued. In any normal scenario, I would call that fraud. You cannot speak to an actual representative unless you purchased a premium plan.

I managed to create a domain but the editing process is not working. I can see my site but not edit it. I am working from an Iphone- maybe this is the problem. But there should be an info that you cannot build sites from your phone. And then a lot of AI-assistance that does not work at all.

I found the interface very intuitive and easy to use with a lot of nice features to choose from. Updates to the site have also been easy. The blog has a nice layout and good tagging. When I had a question about something I was able to call and speak to a representative - this made a huge difference. Overall much better than services I've used in the past.

Absolutely disgraceful company.

My experience with Wix has been nothing short of a nightmare. They increased my subscription price dramatically without proper consent, charged my payment method automatically again without my consent, and then refused to let me cancel and obtain a refund once I discovered the charge.

Their customer support is practically non-existent. Instead of being able to speak to a real person, you're trapped in endless chatbot conversations that do absolutely nothing to solve your problem. It's clearly designed to make it as difficult as possible to get help.

I feel completely ripped off. The billing practices I experienced were unfair and unacceptable, and the lack of real customer service only made the situation worse.

Based on my experience, I would never use this company again and I cannot recommend it to anyone.

I would like to give zero stars. My wife used a free trial to look over their services. She canceled after an hour. A year later, these criminals stole $468 from our account, even though we didn't use their services. They say it's nonrefundable, which is crap. This is not an ethical company and everyone should run away from them.

I have used other web site builder in the past.I was so impressed using wixsite. For almost 10 years now it was so easy to build and advanced with add ons and progressive updates with the latest, so user friendly I highly recommend wixsite

Absolutely unacceptable, Wix. You charged my card nearly three weeks before my subscription even expired, then refused to refund a service period that hasn't even started and is canceled. You hide this behind the fine print in the Terms of Use and call it policy. I call it a deliberately misleading, anti-customer business practice. Charging customers in advance for a service they immediately cancel, while refusing any refund, may be legal under your terms, but it is completely unethical. Companies shouldn't rely on fine print to trap customers. Think twice before trusting Wix with your payment details.

Wix is brilliant and very easy to build your website without any experience. It is very good value, easy to navigate and looks incredibly professional. My business has boomed since setting up my website.

I have been a Wix customer for more than two years. My previous renewals were around $158 and then $179, so I was shocked when my latest renewal was charged at $458.

While I did receive a renewal notice, there was no clear notification that the price had increased so significantly. Had I known about such a large price increase, I would have cancelled before the renewal.

Since then, I’ve spent a lot of time trying to resolve the issue with both my bank and Wix. My request for a refund and cancellation was declined, and the whole process has been extremely frustrating.

The cancellation process is difficult to find and navigate, and getting clear information from Wix has been challenging. In my experience, customer service has been disappointing and unhelpful.

Based on my experience, I would NOT recommend Wix at all.

I have been a customer of Wix for many years, across 3 websites. I lost access to the email address related to my account and never received a renewal notification (which they say they did send). I have spoken to several people at Wix after having to deal with their terrible AI customer service bot, and I have been refused a refund. This is very disappointing, as over my years as a customer I've spent in excess of $1,500 on licenses. They say they can't break policy but - as someone who works in the corporate would know - that is a misrepresentation in order for them to pocket my money. I have explained that I no longer need the website and they can cancel and delete my account, but still the refuse to refund my money. To add to this, after speaking to customer service on the phone (finally!) they can't provide the renewal email either. I have seen many people mention poor customer service and cartel like behavior from this business and now, I'll be taking my business elsewhere. There are many other services to use and Wix will no longer get my business.

Every aspect of this is frustrating (and maybe it wouldn’t be if I knew more about running e-commerce) but for a little creator such as myself, the amount of frustration I’ve gone through just to get a website up and running with WIX hasn’t been worth the price I’ve paid to use it. I regret not going with square space.

This is an expensive platform. Our websites are not promoted. The customer service is mostly AI, it's difficult to reach humans. The site developers that are offer services are too expensive and didn't help my company thrive, I did most of the work.
