I changed my mind about this company…
I changed my mind about this company after having read negative reviews. I asked for a refund and was told I could have one if I completed the ID process.
I insisted that this was not necessary and that they had not required ID before payment - so why require one after payment.
Eventually they agreed a refund to my account. I was pleasantly surprised because I had the impression that they would not cooperate.
In the end they complied thankfully.

This company is not regulated by FCA they are classed as unauthorised this company was linked to an article about Peter Jones from dragons den, this is why i was interssted , I now know he would not be in anyway connected to an unathorised company ... PLEASE please do not invest with them it was only when I had a phone call from them that I did not push the final button
something did not sit right and I decided to check them out on FCA
I HAD A LUCKY ESCAPE Be very careful
SCAM SCAM SCAM
SCAM SCAM SCAM! I got drawn into to xtradetfx through the dragons den link like some others. I created an account with them and deposited 300 from my virgin card which it said had declined. After reseaching the Co i realised it was a scam so phoned Virgin who said they had automatically camcelled the payment as xtraderfx had flagged up as fraudulent on their systems. Phew ! L esson learnt, how stupid of me. XTRADETFX called me the next day from this tel no asking me to tallk with me about my account (07520 641952) I terminated the call stating it was a scam
CRIMINALS!
I am in the same position as others in that I was sucked in by the Dragons Den article and merrily paid my £300 by Barclaycard, as I thought that would protect me. Going into it in more depth later, I rang Barclaycard and asked them not to clear the payment. They said there was nothing they could do and asked if I would like to open a dispute (some good that will do with this organisation, I'm sure!). I then entered a chat session with an extremely rude individual, who said I'd agreed to the Terms and Conditions (it would have taken me a week to read them!) and if I sent them all that was required for identity theft (obviously not how they put it!), I can withdraw my funds. I've no intention of doing that and, therefore, I presume I can kiss goodbye to my £300. I said that, as they were trading in the UK, I would have thought the cooling off period for online purchases would apply, but no chance apparently. I've since read that some banks are refusing payments to bitcoin outfits - I only wish Barclaycard were one of them!! Also, is there nothing that can be done to remove the misleading article from the server before there are too many others in our situation. There was also another one referring to Holly Willoughby, which was printed on the Mirror (I think) website and I followed the link from within that article. Obviously it was fake! I'm furious with myself for failing to do more in-depth research before handing over a couple of weeks pension, but not half so furious as I am that it's possible for this sort of thing to happen! Naturally, I've now blocked my Barclaycard, as I believe these brokers, also charge a fee for an inactive account, even though you've told them you don't want to activate it! I would be interested to know whether anyone has contacted Action Fraud and whether it was worth it?
UPDATE: The firm called me today to tell me I had two free something or others (I wasn't interested whatever it was!). A lengthy conversation ensued, in which I pointed out that I didn't wish to participate and would be grateful for return of my £300. They refused without production of driving licence, utility bill and photo of credit cards, etc. I pointed out that I was not prepared to reveal everything about myself whilst knowing nothing about them, at which point they ended the call. I will now raise a dispute with my bank , though with little optimism!
I wouldn't waste my money on this lot
I came across this website after following a link to the Bitcoin Dragon's Den experience. I signed up to the site and gave my mobile but didn't invest immediately as I wanted to check it out. Within minutes of signing up to the site I received phone call from a salesman who tried his hardest to give me the hard sell. I told him I would check the company independently before making an investment. He remained polite but then started with the flattery. I sounded younger than my years etc. This immediately put me on my guard. A genuine investment comapny will not employ people who use these sales tactics. Five minutes into the call and I was tempted to say, "Look mate, DON'T MESS WITH PENSIONERS." We may be old and looking to waste a bit of pension but the older you get the more savvy you get and you can smell a rat a mile off. I didn't invest. I checked out the company credentials and couldn't find anyone who actually owns it. The domain name is privately registered but you can get an address in the USA from WHOIS. The site has been running since March 2018. At the time of writing that's only 7 months. Not long enough in my book. If you are looking to invest in cryptocurrency then do your research first and only invest money you can afford to lose if it goes belly up. Reading the reviews on here I won't be investing in this company.
I saw dragons den positive reviews…
I saw dragons den positive reviews about bit coin investment when i made contact i was directed to a different company xtraderfx. They rang me as i was signing up and waited on the phone while i deposited £300. They rang me every day for 5 days making investments when i was in profit by £150 they asked me to invest another£1000 and they would match this with £1000 of bonus money (after research i discovered to be able to draw on these funds your account had to make 40 times there investment ) i said i could not do that he lowered it to £500 i still said no..he said fine. Over that week end i lost £300 and although he claims otherwise i have not heard anything for 4 or 5 weeks only recently have we exchanged emails where he was quite rude. Requesting closing my account is falling on deaf ears. Here are the emails exchanged.
Adam Jones
Senior Account Manager
E-Mail
No one as contacted me for over 4 weeks can you close my account and return the remainder of my money please.
Steve How many missed calls did you get without you responding?
I get them all the time but surely you would email me or leave a voicemail?
Steve I was trying to reach you good few times but if you are not willing to answer my calls do you think I have only you on my portfolio and nothing else to do?
I can not continue calling you every day without you answering...
Plus that you never came back to me by email after I sent you a link.
Thats fine, but so as i suggest its not for me kindly close my account and return my money.. is that possible?
Heard nothing back they take your money rapidly which by the way is a cash transfer so costs and interest are charged on it and your credit card refuses to get involved because you willingly transferred the money.
I can never gain access to my account without getting a new password from them every time its rip scam if not they would return your money .. i accept i have lost money so just give me whats left Adam Jones.
Updated responce;
Well i asked a direct question and was ignored. If you do not do as i ask in 3 days i will take appropriate action regards
Steve I am not dealing with your account any more as I tried to help you and all I got is No answer, as I told you I have much more to do rather than just keep calling you all day long.
If you want to continue trading with me I can manage to get you back in my portfolio, if not please contact to support and they will assist you. I invested My time in you and didn't get anything out of it as you are not willing to work with me so I have no intentions of doing anything else.
Regards
Thank you most rude person. if you think ringing me spontaneously and all times of the day and leaving no voice mails and not offering any assurances how you lost me £300 over one weekend is good business. Well good luck with that. I must be wrong like all the other dissatisfied customers. Have a nice day.
And how about you writing reviews about how bad Account managers you are getting when you never answer phone calls?
It is supposed to be in your best interest to get in touch with me and I should not be chasing you around all the time to get you closing trades.
you came to me to make money and I was here until you were but I can not manage accounts for people who only invested 300, it doesn't work like that and I explained.
It was not explained to me like that when i initially invested 300 or i would not of waisted both our times. You never told me that bonus money had a clause either about a 40 time return. Its all a bit devious and not totally honest and upfront..
So Adam is saying forget your 300 you need to invest thousands. Thats understandable but after less than a week we have built up no trust no repport no solid foundations. And it is a really bad time to invest in rhis kind of currency so the press say. Thanks Adam not asking for all my money just the bit you did not lose.
I came across xtraderfx on a news feed…
I came across xtraderfx on a news feed on my phone three weeks ago. I decided to register and start trading, since I was had to spend two months off work whilst recovering from surgery. I received a call from the company soon after registration, explaining the basics and we told to await a call from a manager, who will run me through the trading process in detail.
That call came through from a Lucas Moretti, who introduced himself as a trading floor manager. He persuaded me to invest in bitcoins. To cut a long story short, i transfered £4200.00 into my trading account. He made a small investment of £300, which made a profit of approx £166 in a couple of days.. After a brief conversation, he tried to convince me to transfer some more money(approx £6000), abruptly advising he'll call me back. I sensed something was wrong and put in a withdrawal request. He called me back immediately and advised me not to, at the same time, using my available funds to back the bitcoin against the USdollar. In tge last couple of days, i was making a loss but had at least €3200. I've just logged on today, to find a zero balance and NO transaction history!
Suffice to say, I'm still awaiting a call back from xtraderfx!
They are trading fraudulently
They are trading fraudulently so have* nothing * to do with them. I never completed registration because they wanted documentation that contravenes the UKs privacy laws. Nonetheless they have my initial deposit which I do not expect they will ever return to me (despite requests) because they will not return the funds unless I complete registration with the documents I refuse to give them. The money I have deposited is in my opinion being held illegally precisely because I did not complete registration. I did a fair bit of research on them once I realised they might be fraudulent and was able to determine that according to Companies House the parent company GPay is registered to a Bulgarian national with an address in London. He is the only share holder of GPay. Interestingly there is a plethora of companies registered with Companies House with names not dissimilar to Xtraderfx none of which have traded for longer than about 12 months. The address on their website is not a business address but a flat in a road I happen to know quite well. In my opinion whoever is ‘trading’ from that address is doing so on a shoestring using Russian and other Eastern European contacts who send you strange emails. All of this Information caused the hairs on the back of my neck to rise ! After several weeks of no contact I just got a telephone call from them and the caller cut the call when I said all I wanted from them is my money back. In my opinion the whole business is a scam and there are references to this which support my view on the web if you search. I have cancelled the card used to make my deposit the day I made it and have now written off the funds. They will never get another penny from me but if there is anyway of bringing them to justice by using authentic authorities I would be willing to help. I am deeply sorry for people who have lost large sums of money to them.
Would NOT recommend this company THEY…
Would NOT recommend this company THEY are good at taking money but if you want any withdrawals THEY disappear
I too was drawn in by the Dragons Den…
I too was drawn in by the Dragons Den video. I initially paid £300 then received a phone call the next day requesting £500 so that they could trade for me. The following day another £700 promising a bonus of £350 which thankfully was never credited to the account (wager 40 times!!!!) but they have a total of £1500 of my money which I have requested to withdraw. I never even thought about identity fraud until I read another persons review. In order to withdraw funds you have to forward a copy of photo id, (drivers licence in my case) address confirmation (recent bank statement) and a copy of the bank card that you used to make the transaction. (middle digits of the card covered up and the CVV code on the back). I too have contacted my bank fraud department to retrieve the money back but they say that the cannot do anything. Tomorrow morning I will be in touch with Action Fraud (for others information 0300123 2040 actionfraud.police.uk. Like the man at the Bank said, if it appears too good to be true it probably is. I cannot believe that this company is still allowed to take peoples hard earned cash. After speaking with the bank earlier today, I needed to get some money out tonight, but tomorrow I will be stopping my debit card.
I have read heartbreaking stories from Pensioners who have lost much more money than I have to these scammers.

Really bad
Really bad. Thieves and scammers. Deceptive and very skilled in deception.I am not a totally new to trading so I had some misgivings. If not for the fact that the account opening process was thorough and industry standard, service as described to me is nothing out of ordinary, I wouldn't be dealing with them. I've lost $4850US. A "trader" named Sean Johns scammed the money from me by assuring me he would be managing trades with all trades being insured for losses. I even have it in writting. Sean sent me an email with Bonus Agreement to sign. The agreement stated it was a legally binding contract between XtraderFx and me. Initially I could access and view my account balance until Sean Johns took "care" of my money. He said the money was tied up in trades. I haven't heard from him since, he didn't reply to my emails, I have no access to my account - error message says "incorrect" login details. Sent email to Support@ xtraderfx - no reply either. Phones I used before are down. I reported the scam to Action Fraud, a UK webstite run by police and to my bank, of course.
Very bad experience.
Don't trust this people.
It's nothing clear. They just want your money.
They don't care about your loss. And I lost even money from my account that I have't trade.
Like others l saw the Dragons den and…
Like others l saw the Dragons den and the enthusiasum shown by then for Bit coin investment, like others l ended up on XtraderFX, was going to put in £250 but was told it had to be £300 on a call from Andrey Levey, a smooth talker, called me up two days later to say l had made a profit, to take it and one of his colleguges would call to tell me about a fabulos Apple investment, l got cold feet and did not take the call, felt uncomfortable when Andrey Levey called the next day wanting £5000 to make a lot more money, but £3000 to £5000 would be o.k, l said no but he came back with his manager would kindly let me go ahead with this fabulous Apple investment with only £2500 l had already smelt a rat and cancelled my debit card, spoke with my bank and its fraud department who now have all the details on XtraderFX , so there was no chance of useing my card to get any more money, since then l have tried to close the account, and get my £300, they block all ways with strange requests, no answer from mail, get in the que for live chat, and you will waste all day and get nowhere, no l will give them no more details, and please DO NOT INVEST WITH THEM YOU WILL LOOSE THEY ARE SHARP, HAVE ALL CORNERS COVERED AND DO NOT HAVE ANY QUARMS OF KEEPING YOUR MONEY NOTE THE NAME !!! ANDREY LEVY !!! AND GIVE HIM A WIDE BERTH. But l would be delighted for them to send my moey to me.
Another scam in my opinion
Another scam in my opinion. Polite, well trained, persistent but don't fall for it. When I voiced my complaints to them about an experience I'd had with them before, they said that couldn't have been them or one of their employees and that he must have been fired as they don't work like that, and then proceeded to try the same tactics they said they didn't use!
Wanted all my debit card details and when I pointed out that they would be able to do anything they liked with that info, said they don't write it down or store it. When I challenged about the last 3 digits of the security code being handed over to them, they assured me that they couldn't make any purchases I didn't authorise because my bank would always challenge any online transaction automatically. NOT TRUE. Also they said they'd need all 7 security digits to be able to make online purchases and they were only asking for the last three. ALSO NOT TRUE.
Do yourself a favour and block the number on your phone. I don't believe that they have the intention of making anyone any money other than themselves. I think this is a reincarnation of the same bunch I did fall for and eventually had to harass to get my money back. That was definitely a scam, and this is a carbon copy of the tactics. Don't do it.
Had great trader to help me and great…
Had great trader to help me and great service! I will stick for the long term!
TOTAL SCAM
I joined them yesterday, with 3300USD after they pressurised me to deposit the amount although I wanted to deposit just 250pounds.I realised that the firm is unregulated only after depositing the amount.
Shortly after depositing the money,I sent them repeated emails insisting that I dont want anymore trading activity,or any company bonus, since i just want to withdraw my funds and cancel my account.
Today a guy named RYAN called me up from the company after confirming in the company email that he would assist me in the withdrawal process.
He opened my XtraderFX account on my laptop using an app,and instead of assisting me in withdrawing the money ,started trading on USD-BITCOIN cryptocurrency inspite of me insisting that I dont want to trade anymore.
After investing the equity without my permission,he said that he was doing it because he does not want me to leave the company"without making any profits"
I eventually ended up having an equity of 144.70 USD from 3300USD.
Everything is unlawful from the process of retrieving documents from you, including your credit and debit card details over the phone to trading. They trick you into everything.
I have emails to prove that I just want to withdraw my funds and not trade with them ,and RYAN did just the opposite, allthough I demanded for an explanation as to what was happening, instead of assisting me in closing my trading account with X traderFX.
This is ridiculous and unlawful. They are tricksters and should be banned.
I urge all people in my boat to contact the disputes sections of your bank immediately to avoid any further transfer of funds and retrieve the exisitng funds from this scam online trading company.
I contacted my bank(Barclays Bank),and they assured me that they would help me retireve my money since there is every evidence to prove that this is a scam online trading company.
PLEASE RUN AWAY FROM THEM,DONT FALL INTO THEIR TRAP!
TOTAL SCAM!!!!!!
Yesterday, I read an article about Dragons Den investing in an automated trading system which seemed very credible. I then clicked on to what i thought was the company involved with Dragons Den. I was actually on a site which was linked to XtraderFX. The site asked for minimal initial personal information but an initial deposit of £300 to activate the account, the site made a play that funds could easily be withdrawn.
I then got a call from a Vincent Lucker on a mobile number initially giving me my account number and asking me to give him remote access to my computer so he could show me the trading system. This was a big warring sign! I expressed my concern at this a said I was not sure this was for me, he became very rude and saying whats the issue.
I have emailed them a number of times to close my account and requested a refund of my initial £300 deposit. I am now been told that to do this i must provide extensive personal details, passport, utility bills etc These we not requested at the time of the account setup, which i believe could then be used for identity fraud.I have contacted my bank and cancelled my debit card and advised them, they said they can not stop the payment but advised me to contact action fraud and review my account to check for any suspicious activity .
At the moment i am trying to recover my money without providing them with any further personal information and looking to advice others to stay clear of this company!!!!!".
