Stay AWAY from YELLOW PAGES ADVERT

So far our small business, hubby is sole proprietor and I run office/house, has spent more time and frustration dealing with yellow pages than would ever warrant the price we paid for the service. We did not get our service cancelled when we asked for it to be, they are sending us a bill in 2021 that is from 2018...all of a sudden. The wait time for this to be sent to someone, to examine my claim that we do not owe them for the extra year since we didn't want the service and it is in fact cancelled, was an hour, plus time very upset talking with a gaslighting service agent.... I was disconnected once and second customer service person was about half my age, schooling me on how i should talk and feel about this absolute rip off of my time, energy and money. They harrassed us to join their services and being newbies to business, we dealt with them. When we wanted to quit, they kept trying to get us to sign on for more advertising. We did not get ANY clients from their yellow pages adverts! For the amount of times we had to deal with them, they should be paying us. I appreciate all the other comments from dissatisfied users.

Wish I could give them a zero star. They have the wrong website for our business and can’t seem to correct it. Should have a lawyer look into it for the business we are loosing because of their mistake that they can’t seem to correct.

STAY AWAY

Just like the rest of the reviews I have seen, If I could give zero stars I would. Campaign for a trucking company turned into a huge nightmare, with the first zoom meeting, they did not understand that our main business is dump trucks for hire. They set up a junk hauling campaign, we complained at the zoom meeting 2 weeks later they send us a updated website for a entirely different company that I also run. They confused us from the very begining on the number on potential clients or targets that we would be recieving each month, telling us we would get around 200+ potential clients per month based the 1,000.00 per month that we were putting in. In the zoom meeting they explained it was 200+ per year not months. So far after 32 days we have seen 3 responses from potential customers wanting junk removal, with no other leads. 10 out of 10 not worth the hassel door knocking would provide a much better outcome at this point.

I wish that I could give these people a…

I wish that I could give these people a negative, below zero-rating. They are simply hacks that love to take advantage of their customers. Beware of shutting down their service because without knowing it you have entered into a contract with them. They will try to gouge you for three months of services that you will not use. Your business will do just fine without them and they are nowhere near the critical service that they claim to be. Steer clear of them.

If only I could give them ZERO stars

If only I could give them ZERO stars! They are trying to make me pay for an account that never existed, and refuse to stop billing me for an account I canceled over a year ago. I've dealt with at least 12 different people including their "Legal collections" group but none of them pay any attention to my documentation or messages. They just keep saying the same things over and over, perhaps to get me so frustrated that I'll pay them just to make them go away. Surprise YP, you're not getting one red cent from me. The WORST business to deal with I have ever come across.

Stay Away

I can't be wasting too much time here, but I thought it would be a good idea to share my terrible experience with this company. Stay away from this company; they have no morals.

We used a terrible product they offer, & I'm not sure of the name of this product/service because we only used it for 1 week before we realized that it's completely useless. Now we're "stuck" - we have to pay them $52.50 every month for 12 months & they would rather keep taking our $52.50, instead of understanding our point of view on their useless program. This shows desperation & believe me; they are desperate.

Stay away from this company - you can do the same work they try & provide for free. (For Free & 2 Hours of Your Time)

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE/SUPPORT

I contacted yellow pages to ask them to remove a website they have listed under the business I work for as it's not correct. AND IT WAS THE WORST GUEST SERVICES OF MY LIFE, I've never felt so patronized and not listened too, would not recommend in a million years.
I mentioned that the URL was being hosted through the yellow pages, the owner did originally set it up but no longer remembered the email associated with his business account...
Here is some of the things an agent said to me through the chat...

Agent - Hey, I understand your request but we have nothing to do with it. This is google were talking about...
Me - No... I think you've misunderstood. The information for the [business website] is all the same information as the store, it's not a different website.\
Agent - It is a different website as I have both in front of me and neither are the same.
Me - Same address, same number. Can you pass me onto someone else
Agent - Oh yes, I see that. Well someone on your side probably made a free website with Wix.com
Me - No, the Wix one is the one we're currently working on [other website] is owned by the gallery but is hosted through yellow pages, I just wanted more information around this, and to also remove the [other website] from the yellow pages website
Agent - Contact the number I provided earlier.

The worst business investment you can…

The worst business investment you can make. They are manipulative, misleading and their sales representatives never follow up. Their business ethics and just overall practice has zero integrity. Stay away, there are plenty of other great reputable places to spend your money. YP.ca isn't one of them. Anyone selling you advertisement should want the best for you and your business. For being a media company, their communication is horrible.

They are a mess..

Tried to create listing... website gives server error. I then EMAIL > they say I need to CALL and give a number > I call and that number says ... sorry wrong department, CALL this number > I call and they say.. sorry you need to EMAIL... finally I get someone to make a listing for me.. then I ask how I can update it and manage it on my own... oh that's a different department to do that you need > CALL another number.

I thought YP's main purpose was to have business listings on their site... why is it almost impossible to do and none of the employees seem to know the process...

Yellow Pages was an awful investment

As a small business, we had hoped yellow pages would be a helpful addition. Instead, we had 5 lack luster reps in 4 years who were almost no help. A couple couldn't even explain their own contracts! We were overcharged, had numerous technical difficulties
, and while cancelling our contracts, our current rep, Marianne Renaud, is ignoring my emails. I was told we would receive a transfer key for our website in the last week of July. I had emailed a few days ago and today with no response. There was a nice gentleman that I spoke with on the phone today but I am doubtful it will end up being much help based on our previous experience. Please do not give these people your business. You will regret it.

Misleading

They offer a free Yellow Pages listing on their website - I signed up for that. Then had 3 separate phone calls where people had to speak to me to "finish setting up the account".
Upon completion they notify me that no one will actually be able to see this listing unless I pay them money.

Quay Pacific

Quay Pacific is a Management Company that everyone needs to stay far away from. The only way property managers at Quay Pacific give themselves big bonuses is by colluding with Strata Councils to defraud unsuspecting homeowners. They're not what they claim to be. When you allow Council members to violate multiple bylaws and turn a blind eye to that after multiple notices forwarded there's without a doubt collusion. If you allow the property managers at Quay Pacific to invoice for work not performed they will pay you a percentage for those types of scams. Hiring Quay Pacific will be the BIGGEST mistake of your life.

I wish I could go under 1 star

I wish I could go under 1 star. They get you locked in a contract by showing wrong statistics but I did not get any call through their page. They don't respond to you after signing up with and keep taking money from your account. I am struggling to get in touch to solve this issue since last 3 months and BBB also contacted and did not get any response from 1 month.

Worst!!!

Worst!!!
Signed up for advertising for my business and the initial calls before signup mentioned 1000-1500 Hits/month. In the last 5 Months got a total of 6 Hits.

DO NOT EVER TAKE ANY PAID ADVERTISING WITH YellowPages.

When I called the customer support during Covid-19, as the business is shut down. The agent transferred call to director and director said "All businesses are now opening and you should be able to pay the advertising fees".

Yellow pages will loot your money.
It is not even worth to think about yellow pages.
