Ordered some chain no problem👍
Didn’t know that the parcel was being delivered today- there was no email saying that it’s been dispatched or out for delivery today which would have been handy to know. I wasn’t in had a phone call from the courier saying no one in which I said leave it by the door which he did after I had to send him a text with those instructions as proof.
At least I got the parcel and it wasn’t sent back to be delivered another day.
Overall Pleased I got parcel on time. Thanks

As for not receiving communication about when your delivery, we pass over both the customer's email address and phone number to the courier to allow for effective communication. Unfortunately, our choice of courier seems to have let us down in terms of communication this time, so I would like to apologise for that and for any inconvenience it may have caused.

From looking into your order, it seems like it was dispatched on a 24 hour service the morning after you placed the order with standard 2-4 working day delivery. Unfortunately, FedEx seem to have not delivered the parcel until the 12th, so I would like to apologise that it was delayed and for any inconvenience it may have caused. We strive to get orders to our customers within the time frame, but our choice of courier has let us down on this occasion - We will raise this with FedEx to find out the cause of the delay, but we're glad that you have received the order.

Customer service? When does that start??
I had a delivery of paint, which included a 5l tin of anti-fouling. This tin was dented quite badly, the bottom had been squashed on one side, the side dented in, and the lid creased. I haven’t opened tin yet, that will have to be done carefully…..!
The paint was well packaged, and the box it came in was unmarked. The damaged tin was obviously packed in that condition. I can imagine the conversation in the stockroom…”internet customer, 200 miles away, not likely to turn up at reception with it, is he? Stick it in the box, don’t worry about it “
I emailed the company, including pictures of the damaged tin. That was on 4th of June, the day I received the package.
It was a very quick delivery, which is great, but they could have, at least, replied to my email.
Hence, the one star.
Come on YouBoat, sort yourselves out.

I would like to assure you that our dispatch team did not purposely select a dented tin for you, unfortunately some of our tins of paint arrive from the manufacturer damaged, however it does not effect the quality or quantity of the paint within.
It's good to hear that the paint was well packaged and the delivery was quick. I would like to apologise that you didn't recieve a reply to your email on the 4th, as although we strive to reply to all emails as quickly as possible, we didn't on this occasion; we are putting new procedures in place to ensure that this doesn't happen again.

Ordered a calorifier on line. I thought I had ordered in time for next day delivery, when I queried why it hadn't arrived, it was explained and I was reassured that it would arrive by courier the next day.
