Claim for my daschund

Claim for my dog's trea tent was made by my vet after I gave them my Post. Office pet policy number. I paid the bill at the time but soon got an email from Post Office Pet Insurance to say they were crediting my bank account with the sum minus my agreed condition excess. I had to do nothing to chase up. Very pleased.

Octopus regularly inform you of prices

Octopus regularly inform you of prices, changes and options. Their regular on line communications make seeing and reviewing your bills and payments easy. Their philosophy of reducing standing charges which the customer cannot reduce in favour of actually paying for use (which you can change) gets my vote. I am happy to trust them, and my trust is always hard earned.

Very efficient, quick to respond to query,good notification of delivery a d arrived exactly when they said they would. Helped ne get cover off mattress and put it on bed when I asked them to.

Delivery said to be due 28th but not…

Delivery said to be due 28th but not arrived. 29th got text 0715 saying delivery due between 0746 and 0846, at same time text said I had missed delivery no one in. Door not knocked but card left. Rhetorical message they would drop it off at a shop after noon next day ie 30th. No access to rearrange delivery. Contacted Barbour re my non delivery and neither could they alter DPD destination. They DO NOT DELIVER they just drop it off wherever they like. Paying customer means NOTHING to them. I will steer clear of any establishment who uses them.

Ordered two earthenwear items as a…

Ordered two earthenwear items as a gift. One item was fine in original box etc, the other in John Lewis cardboard box, air packed but bowl chipped prior to packing. Requested replacement in original box as gift now late, delivered a day later than promised in completely unsealed, no sign of tape removal en route. Was asked to destroy original chipped bowl. The second bowl was still in the box but again was chipped. My complaint was acknowledged for escalation. No one contacted me as promised. Rang myself again asking to replace 2nd chipped bowl with a plate as that more likely to be in original box ( I had also ordered a bowl from Unique and Unity for same price with free delivery). My request was dealt with and five pounds pounds price difference given as good will. However I then had rather demanding email requiring me to securely pack and return second chipped bowl else I would be charged for it. No idea how much J/L charge for broken crockery. I rang to complain about this as I was being asked to take more care with packing than they did and wanted escalation. Again assured someone would get back to me that day, they did not. Email next day requested I email my evidence video on different format. I do not have IT qualification but I resent video. Await their response. I feel their attitude was at least condescending after their negligent or contemptuous packing completely devalued my gift.

Very helpful when wrong e-mail given…

Very helpful when wrong e-mail given for passenger locator form when originally applied for test, able to correct with help. Test arrived on time very clear instructions and ease of completing andphotographing result etc. No problem with procedure or getting confirmation of status.
